Pete has 25-years of sales and management experience in generating high customer service levels. Pete delivers a team to work on the best solutions to maintenance programs, service, equipment replacements, Direct Digital Controls and other Energy Management Strategies.

We use computer-managed air conditioning maintenance and service programs that schedule up to one year in advance. Unfortunately haven't been able to get a hold of George, after leaving several messages with Sheilla. They were quick to give me a call back when I needed their service, but now that it's related to billing, radio silence. I'm not sure why they are my buildings preferred vendor. Definitely will not be using them again in the future.

We hired Barr Engineering about 6 months ago to fix a unit which was having a slow frion leak and running low. They charged about $800 to add add frion. A few months later the same unit was low on frion again. They sent a different technitian and he said the previous technitian did not do the right repair and he would fix the problem without charging us again.
But then we recieved another bill for over $600 for the same unit. I tried to resolve the discrepency with Barr and they threatened to take us to small claims court. I would not recomend this company becuase they charged outragious amounts of money and in our case the problem never was fixed and they just say it was a different issue than the one they charged for the first time.

I live in the Higgins lofts in downtown Los Angeles, with exposed ceilings and had trouble with an HVAC company who came to fix my AC twice, without success. It took several attempts to schedule an appointment each week. I finally got fed up, so called Barr Engineering at 5:30pm. Got a call back in an hour or so, had a technician in the next. Took 2 hours to finally fix, but that's way better than 2 weeks! Great service from Jim- he even explained what was wrong/mechanics of Heating and Air Conditioning.
