I have had Long Energy Service for at least a year and a half. I had some issues and they scheduled a service visit. They did service on things I didn't request and then charged me late fees on the servicing. I asked for a budget plan that ended up being about the same without being on a budget plan. Decide for yourself.

Woke up a 7 degree morning at 5 am with our furnace not working. We have 3 young children so this was concerning. Called The emergency service number for Long energy, all I can say is wow. They answered, tech calls me right back and they had someone at my house with a few hours and had out heat restored by 11am. This was amazing and I can not thank them enough.

What a great experience in a time of need. I highly recommend this company. I have used them for Moana years now. I don't know if there are cheaper options and I do not care. When it comes to great service and never missing me on a fill it is well worth every penny. Thank you again Long Family and your amazing team!

Incredibly helpful and reliable. I needed to change fuel companies and I texted them and received a reply back very promptly. They came to my house and changed out the tank the very next day. Very satisfied. Thanks.

Highly recommended and THANK YOU for saving the day. One phone call. and had a great conversation with Roger, VP at Long Energy, who had me set up for delivery in a few hours and installed remote monitoring. AWESOME SERVICE on the eve of a big snow/ice storm. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, especially if you support local businesses! We were with another supplier who promised propane delivery between 1/26-2/1.

No show 2/3/22. We were at 7% and heat over 6000+ sq ft. Couldn't get through to anyone local within the company (spoke to several reps in Ohio!) and after 4 attempts on the phone to escalate it, finally was told that we were overscheduled and couldn't guarantee delivery. That was it for us. We're done.

Roger and his team are always timely, professional, and there for their customers. I've also had amazing customer service in all dealings with this business, especially from Gina who quickly rectified a mix-up. Thank you guys so much!

I spent $6,000 with Long Energy for a new furnace and it has been a complete nightmare, I never though I would miss that old oil furnace, but at least it kept my house warm. I purchased and had installed a new furnace with Long Energy. I wanted to get rid of the old gas furnace and switch to propane to have a more reliable heat in the winter, and save money on all the oil.

The exact opposite thing happened. I wake up to find my house freezing and yet the furnace is still running. It runs non-stop. And I have to pay them for all the fuel it uses when it runs non-stop. I had them come back multiple times, and they would never call back, I had to constantly follow up with them. They would go between putting the blame on my house, and then acknowledging that their installers forgot to install it properly.

They never installed the second stage correctly, and one of the installers fixed that, and then the following tech uninstalled it. After a dozen visits, they never resolved the issue. I had an independent tech come look at it, and he found that the second stage was never converted from natural gas to propane. I don't like to speak badly of anyone, but I just woke up again to a cold house and could not help but write this.

Long Energy was incredible. We had 4 different guys come out and each one was knowledgeable, polite, quick and efficient! We called to say we had furnace issues and they put in a new furnace within 24 hours. An amazing company!

First the good part. They came out to do repair work when other companies were to busy to, unless I was a current customer, which I was not. Next, the service technician was very friendly and helpful. Now for the not so good part. The average price markup on parts for this type of company is about 100%, which I expected, however, Long charged me 500% on one part and 400% on the second part.

I asked them what the average price markup on their parts was and they said about 100% average. When I asked to have it reviewed as to why is was so much higher than 100%, they told me they would check into it. A week later they came back with that they could not help me in any price reduction whatsoever, with no explanation of why they had gouged me so much. It's sad that they had no legitimate answer, except that this is what happened to me and they were sorry. Yeah, right!

I recently contacted Long Energy to get an estimate to replace my 35 year old oil boiler. Art was at my house within a few days and shortly thereafter I had an estimate for the work. Long's quote was very competitive and based on some recent experience with the company, I elected to move forward with the work. The work was completed in the estimated time and the workmanship and attention to detail are fabulous. The crew was pleasant, professional and very neat. My new installation is light years ahead of what I had. Thank you to Long Energy.

They responded promptly to my quote request. I did follow up on receiving the quote after 5 days, and have decided to hold tight since the quote was surprisingly high.

We just moved into a new home and purchased the credit the previous owner had with long. Well long made us fill out their credit application and said they would transfer the credit, never did and then sent a check back to the previous owner who had already been paid that money at closing. After that without being told or ever asked if we wanted autofil they filled our tanks when we did not want them filled. Told my husband they would not take us off autofill and that he was lying about the rate he said the previous owners contract was locked in at.

When we then had their tanks replaced by a different company Long came and picked up our two FULL tanks and refuse to give us the money back for the propane in the tanks. They have been nothing but nasty, rude, unprofessional and they are thieves. I suggest to everyone I know and come in contact with to NEVER use this company.

I asked Long for a quote on a furnace. I received one. Upon calling back to move forward with installation, I was told the furnace quote was contingent on becoming a fuel customer. I had my propane tank filled this week for at least $0.60 less than what Long was quoting. That would easily add $1,000 to my fuel bill for the year, which they were looking to lock in.

At no point, until I was ready to move forward with the new furnace, was I told about the requirement to be a fuel customer. This company wasted my time when I desperately need a new furnace for the winter.

Theyre decent. Get the job done and all of that. Nothing more nothing less. Will deffinitely use them next time I have nonheat.

During a very cold SUNDAY this past winter, we experienced a "puff back" (A puff back is a misfiring in the furnace that can send soot throughout your home, covering drapes, bedding, furniture, cabinets, walls, and everything in between. It requires expensive cleaning and restoration in addition to repairs on your heating system). We called Long Energy.

Within an hour, The owner was here and temporarily repaired our heat so we could stay warm until Monday when a full team of technicians came and took over to begin the process of determining exactly what went wrong and how to repair/replace. The service people, the office staff and the owner took great care of us and also worked out a problem created by another company Family Danz. They really messed up a simple water heater installation that caused a ripple effect of problems. I highly recommend Long Energy.
