Suburban Heating/Air Conditioning

Jordan changed the oil on our whole house generator. He was courteous, professional, and very attentive to our needs. We couldn't be happier with the service we have been provided by Jordan and Suburban Heating and Cooling.

$385.46 for one hour of work, installing one water shut off valve, and a frost free sillcock valve (that I supplied). I called because I have 3 outside faucets that are leaking and wanted them repaired or replaced. Over the phone, I was told it's $99 to come out and a minimal cost if the job was straightforward and just replacing the faucets. I said great!

Let's do it. 2 very nice servicemen came to my house and checked the outside faucets. They said, only one is leaking; they can't get the hose off of the one in the back, and the other one in the front is fine. Disappointing, red flags right out of the gate. Complete BS. The front and back faucets leaked 3 days ago, yesterday, and they are leaking still.

I wish I went out to challenge their eyesight but maybe not. If they wound up changing all 3 faucets out like i wanted, it may have been triple the price in the end. What they did: They installed (1) shut off valve (20 dollar part maximum), and a frost free sillcock valve ( that I supplied). They worked for 1 hour. They were physically here for roughly 1 hour and 25 minutes.

The one serviceman I spoke with the most is an avid fisherman like myself. We talked for at least 20 minutes about fishing. If I knew that conversation was worth $150 I would have said to leave. I have enough fishing buddies. I called because I wanted 3 leaky outside hose faucets repaired or replaced. Instead, only one was replaced, and with a part that I supplied.

The other 2 they just couldn't find the leaks and/or couldn't get the hose off. I can only assume they weren't interested. The bad taste: I called after the guys left to complain about the price of the job and how I am not happy and was told that it's not clear exactly what was done at that time. I was told about inflation, labor issues, and the current state of the economy.

While the conversation was enlightening, what would be much better to me is: "I will look into this and refund you if I find that it is justified." Then, refund me $150 back to my credit card. OR "Let me send a different serviceman out to repair/replace all (3) leaky faucets, as promised originally by the customer service person." 1 hour of actual work time. (1) $20 (maximum) part. $385.46. I'm well aware of inflation but come on. I was robbed and still looking at 2 leaky faucets.

Arrived within quoted time frame, installed new replacement sump pump. Explained the issue and why it needed replacing. Was friendly and curtious throughout his visit, explained warranty. Couldn't have asked for anything more

Immediate response to need to replace heat and hot water. Very professional team, knowledgeable, went the extra mile to accomadate comfort during the installation. Their plumbing services were timely, and very efficient. They were at the house within a few days, and completed a quality job within 2 1/2 hours that would have taken a DIY'er like me a weekend. My only complaint is their billing, which does not break down parts and labor, but only gives you a total bottom line.

I just had my furnace and central air unit replaced and my experience with suburban services group was amazing! Every aspect from calling to get an estimate to installation was seamless and a pleasure to deal with. They don't try and sell you things you don't need and make sure what your buying fits your home! I would recommend them to anyone and will be using them for any future projects in my home!

I have had Suburban Services Group for many projects, from plumbing a barn, servicing a generator, replacing commodes, to most recently replacing my hot water heater. They are very professional, and "get it done." Barry is the best plumber you will find; the manager, Rob, is extremely knowledgeable and discusses projects clearly; and the office staff is very competent and *listens* to the issues. Kudo's to all of them.

When you purchase a generator you have the choice where to purchase it from. For me it was important that someone immediately picked-up my call. I was able to immediately talked to John. John was able to stop by the house on the same day I called. John gave me a great presentation about Generac and about Suburban Services Group. I decided to go with them because of the top notch installer team, the training they receive at Generac headquarter in WI and the training they receive in house.

Very important to me, John and Suburban Services Group understood my need of having the generator installed quickly. Even if they were extremely busy, John was able to schedule an install date 2 days after his in house estimate. Many others companies told me I have to wait between 3-4 weeks. They will tell you this because they have only a super small team. Suburban Services Group has a large installer team.

Some others installers are not going to install everything per the Generac code. They will try to cut corners. I showed John some others quotes I received and he clearly showed me the mistake others installers will have made. The installation took place without a hitch. Super professional installer team, very friendly to talk to, extremely knowledgeable about the product.

They took their time to install everything per the code. Once the install was done they walked me through everything. In conclusion I would highly recommend Suburban Services Group to anyone who is looking for a standby Generac Generator. I know you have a choice of installers. But just go for the one who will provide you with the most confidence and seriousness: Suburban Services Group. I want to personally thank Suburban Services Group for their great reactivity/friendliness on this project.

Two years ago I had a Generac generator installed. It has not needed any servicing and has functioned perfectly. The Generac generator was one of the best investments. Just last week, I rehired Suburban to install a new Mitsubishi ductless split for air conditioning and heat. Can't comment on the heat but the air conditioning is wonderful. Silent, cold and effecient.

The installation process was perfect. The guys were very prompt and clean in their install. They took all the precatutions for COVID. I couldn't recommend Suburban more. 5 stars! Thank you.

I had Suburban Services Group install whole house A/C in 2014. After many years of loosing power in my area I finally decided to take the plunge to have a whole house generator installed. I did not hesitate to call Suburban. Rob was very knowledgeable and understood my needs explaining the whole process and, unlike another company, did not try to sell me more than I needed. Installation went well and the technician fully explained what I could expect in the future. I would not hesitate to recommend Suburban Services Group!!!

The prices are good. The service is excellent. Just had a home generac installed. The two people who installed the unit went above and beyond to make sure everything went as planned. Thank you all again for the great service.

We love Suburban so much. When something goes wrong with your heating, plumbing or air conditioning it can really mess up your week! Before finding Suburban we'd struggled to find a reliable heating and plumbing service, but no more! They pride themselves in reduced customer wait times, and unless there's an unusual weather event (resulting in unusually high call volumes) they've always gotten to us within a day of our call.

Their quality of service is second to none and their pricing is fair. They seem to also be the region's leader in generator installation- this is something that my family will likely think more seriously about in the coming years. Great job installing my new AC! Sales and service teams are top notch. It kept me cool over the really warm days. Tried my heater the other morning for the first time and used it to take care of the early morning chill. Can see where I may be able to save some money on my fuel bill! Thanks so much!

Our furnace went out in the middle of January. Suburban sent someone out immediately (late afternoon) and told us the bad news - new furnace was required. This was not unexpected as we knew that our existing furnace was on its last legs. They quoted us a replacement at a fair price and we also got the AC replaced at the same time. Everyone that we worked with at Suburban (office and service people) were polite, professional and courteous. They even gave us space heaters to use until the new furnace was put in. They did a great job and I have no complaints. Would recommend them.
