Lee and Ernie understood that earning a customer's business once is easy. Keeping that business after years and even decades of repair calls and installations is much harder. It meant the Climate Design team would have to exceed expectations not just once, but many times, and through many unique repair and installation challenges.
Climate Design began as a small family-owned business back in 1973, and it remains a family-owned business today. Over the years however, we've grown our family to 50+ employees and hired dozens of professionals in the fields of plumbing and electrical to compliment our HVAC team and give even better service to our customers.

Climate Design does great work. We've used them for years for routine maintenance and when our aging AC system finally died, they were super responsive in getting us a new system as quickly as possible. They show up on time, their service personnel are polite, courteous and professional. Their work quality is excellent. We're totally satisfied with everything they do for us.

I called climate design who I had never used before. The young man that came out to my home was professional and yet personable. I showed him the issue and he replaced the part immediately. He was in and out and never made a mess of any kind. In fact, I will be using them for all future plumbing needs. What a nice surprise to have the job done efficiently and with no mishaps.

Very friendly and knowledgeable team came to house and were respectful and courteous while removing and installing a brand new TRANE system. Stayed until the work was done to my satisfaction, walked me through all the new programming and maintenance instructions. As far as I'm concerned this crew went over and above just being service members. I'm glad to have found a reputable company that stands behind their work. I highly recommend Climate Design, A+++

I recently received quotes from multiple plumbing companies to replace my water heater. However, Climate Design came out and quoted me about 15% less than any other company. Did an OUTSTANDING job. I will recommend this place to anyone. I would like to show extra appreciation to Daniel as well. For his professionalism, positive attitude, his dedication and the confidence he gave me in this company. Ensuring I was well taken care of by making sure the rest of my systems were working correctly. All while giving me knowledge to help maintain my water heater and get the best life out of it. Thanks to Martin, had a great first experience working with the Climate Design team. Martin completed a multi point inspection and identified a failing fan motor. A replacement part was aboard their van and installed in short time. Thanks for your help. Look forward to utilizing the annual maintenance agreement offered. I have used Climate Design since 1993. They are truly professionals and have always provided me with excellent service. The last job was to replace my aging duct work with a brand new system. Chad and Joe, the 2 techs, were always here early in the morning and worked all day. Very courteous and friendly guys. They went out of their way to install the system and accommodate my requests. I have and will always recommend Climate Design to anyone that asks me for an excellent company to service or install their air conditioner or heating.

Climate Design installed our A/C and has provided annual maintenance service for three years. This latest maintenance service, conducted by Maria, was their usual prompt, courteous and knowledgeable service. We had an appointment time between 9 & 11. Maria called at 9:15 and let us know she would arrive in 20 minutes. She arrived on time, got to work on the inside & outside and did a professional job. We would definitely recommend Climate Design for A/C services.

My water heater died late one evening. Fortunately, Climate Design was able to send a tech out the next day, after I'd submitted an online request for an appointment. Daniel arrived, assessed the situation and quoted the cost for a replacement. It was installed an operating by 6pm the next evening. He was thorough, explained what he'd done and how I'd need to maintain it. Additionally, he called to my attention another plumbing issue that I'll need to keep my eye on.
I appreciated his honesty and communication style. Climate Design installed my AC last year. After this installation, I'm convinced they'll be the vendor I think of first with any of the HVAC, plumbing or electrical needs in my home.

Deliberately blew 3 pounds of Freon into the AIR as they were leaving so the system would appear to be leaking, while they kept encouraging me to just buy a new system. They were there to just replace a capacitor fan motor. As Brian Wahl was leaving I walked up behind him to give him a cash tip. He was not expecting me out by the unit for no reason and was shooting like yellow stone park geyser amounts out of freon into the air.
When he noticed me he yelled STAND BACK! STAND BACK! fREON CAN FREEZE your finger right off like glass! And I was alking right up on all this. I asked what he was doing and he said closing up his equiptment. My neighbor also saw him shooting the FREON but thought I was walking up to handle the situation. Brian Wahl told me my system had 11 pounds of freon--proper amount but set up a date for quote for new system.
Next day by 10 AM the coolant could not keep up and next tech Thomas Robinson sent out "Anthony" demanded to know why I would not just buy a new system and keep dumping money into an old Trane system. (This was not true, I had not dumped much into it at all.) He claimed I was low on Freon and Freon is $100 a pound. I described Brian releasing it the day before and how he did it.and Anthony almost fainted.
He grasped he was told to push me for a new system (before he even got there) but did not know CRIMES went down to get me low on freon. I BEGGED him to please add the 3 1/2 Pounds of Freon back in and I would PAY for it. He was so upset but he felt bad he did and I paid some $385 more. BUT MAN DID HE WANT TO GET IN THE TRUCK AND LEAVE because he knew he could loose his right to EVER fix AC if he were to toss freon in the AIR ON PURPOSE. Talked to owner today Thomas Robinson who would gladly refund me all the money back BUT not replace any melting product in my home or give me the $10k fine the EPA says they must pay to me for doing that. WATCH EVERY MOVE THEY MAKE!

Climate Design put the original Trane unit in our apartment in 2004 and replaced it in 2015. There was was evidence of water coming off of the handler during the first year of warranty but the technicians could not find a fault. After the warranty expired, they charged for two service calls to tell me that there was a problem with the coil. They would not acknowledge that the problem was apparent during the warranty and quoted an outrageous amount for labor to replace the coil (the part was covered).
Fast of Florida did the work for a reasonable price. Be VERY careful if you purchase a new Trane unit from Climate Design. The installation has to be registered with Trane within 60 days or you get a five year parts warranty rather than their standard 10 year warranty. Reputable companies like Fast of Florida do this as a matter of routine for their customers and Climate Design does not.

I have had Climate Design service my AC unit ever since they installed it in 2006 and they have done a very satisfactory job, however, during the annual maintenance in 2016 the tech indicated I needed a new UV light and therefore installed one. I was sick at the time. Upon checking my records the next day I realized I had just had it replaced the previous year and indeed did not need a new one. I felt "taken"

We had Climate Design install and maintain our complete heating and a/c system over 10 years ago. We have always used their maintenance programs and have been very happy with the service we receive from all of their service representatives. The service personnel always explain what the issues are and how they resolved them and what we can do to better maintain and keep our unit running to it's intended best.
We are also big on making sure we change filters and keep the drain lines clean. Our experience has been very good and we have been very happy with the service from Climate Design.
