Jeff, from Coastal A/C came to do my Spring A/C tuneup. I explained a concern I had regarding my heat pump over the Winter. He checked that concern out for me as well as performing the tuneup. He explained the increased electrical usage to me in terms I could understand. I agreed it needed to be dealt with and he gave me the cost of the part in minutes. Additionally, I had questions about an alternative heat source. He answered all of my questions and gave me his opinion. He is knowledgeable and thorough. I trust Coastal and will deal with them for years to come.

Technician Jared completed scheduled service in an outstanding thorough manner. He did all the required equipment checks, cleaned the components (more so than other techs), and then took time to explain the condition of the units with with advice for follow-up concern during next scheduled service. I hired Coastal Heating come out to diagnose and repair an issue with my furnace. The furnace blower was making a concerning rattling noise while running. Coastal Heating's technician came out to the house, spent 30 seconds listening to the sound, said it could not be coming from the furnace and left. I was charged $110 for this "service." I called and left messages for the manager but did not hear back.

I gave up and called another HVAC service company who determined there were two issues with the furnace causing the rattle. They repaired the problems and my furnace now works fine. If you want HVAC technicians who know what they are doing and will at least try to diagnose the issue, hire another company.

My air conditioner stopped working, called and got an appointment for the next day. The technician, Jeff, diagnosed the problem quickly, and made the necessary repair in under one hour. very professional. I have had a contract with Coastal for many years, always good service.

As usual, today's Coastal visit to do the bi-yearly check-up was efficient and fast.He did advise me to change out the filter once the drywaers were done. Good advice, will do. My friends and I all use Coastal. Dependable.
