My thermostat and a/c were not working. I called Crystal Air and was told a tech would call me back in 10 minutes. I promptly received a call from Keith. I explained the problem and he said he would come and take a look at the issue. He arrived and was very professional in listening again to my story and then he checked the thermostat and went into the attic where the HVAC system is.
He figured out the problem. He fixed it, but then went back into the attic to investigate a little further and sure enough not only was the drain plugged, but he also found that there was a piece of plastic that was making it worse. If he had not taken the time to further investigate this problem would have continued. I highly recommend Keith and Crystal Air. Thanks for making my home cool again.

The whole experience with Crystal Air & Water, Inc. had been surprisingly pleasant and helpful since my initial call to inquire about the repair, given our prior terrible experiences with other companies. The receptionist was very friendly, warm, and clear in explaining the procedures and the prices. She told me the price without needing me to ask her and then she kindly asked me if I would like to schedule the appointment.
After I made the appointment, she then explained what I could expect on the service day. On the service day, everything went as what the receptionist told me. Seth, the technician, as expected called me in advance to inform me that he was coming and then was able to come to fix our A/C in the very early part of the service time given to us. Therefore, we basically did not need to wait.
Without us asking, Seth kindly asked us if we would like him to wear a mask. We very much appreciated his keen observance and kind responsiveness. Seth was exceptionally professional and knowledgeable. Again, in the beginning he kindly and clearly explained to us the different services and prices involved and patiently waited for our decision. His information, skills, and manners put us in great ease!

My husband and I are very pleased with Crystal Air's service. We called them last Friday as it seemed our AC was not working up to par. Keith was able to come out that morning and diagnose the issue. He clearly explained the problem, possible cause, and the solution. He was also able to verify that the unit was still under warranty, so we would only have to pay the labor charges.
He was able to source the compressor, which arrived today (Monday), and have it installed and the unit running withing 3 hours. Keith is a very knowledgeable technician. His professional attitude and expertise helped make this a great experience, despite the inconvenience of having the unit break down. We highly recommend Crystal Air and Water, and Keith!

Easter Sunday our AC just stopped working. I called Crystal Air and Water and was told they would contact the on call tech. Keith responded so quickly. Gave us a prompt timeline and arrived when he said he would. He used his expertise to quickly identify the issue and restore our cooling. Keith is super professional and friendly when he was working.
When we asked for more information on the repairs he happily took the time to show us the repairs that were need. We've been using Crystal air for at least a decade and after today I'm sure we will be for many more.

Keith is great! Besides the regular servicing he performed a duct inspection on one the more recent visits. All happened to be good but he even climbed into the limited space attic to view the condition of the exterior part of the vents. All the techs go over and above and I'm grateful that they've extended the life of my old Goodman system. This company cares!

We were referred to Crystal Air by a loyal customer. Service tech, Keith Brammer went above and beyond today with his maintenance service. We were pleased to notice his skill set and kindness while maintenancing our Train HVAC system. Will recommend Crystal Air & Water company to others. Thankful that Keith spent time with us to explain the new UV light system that we are considering for future install. I am completely disappointed with this company's service. I sent an email to them about their poor service and they didn't even reply to me. This review is completely true, and I am sure there will be a response to the owner, after having ignored my complaint in the first place. A technician came on 11/24/2021 and said the issue with the AC was the capacitor.
He replaced it and charged us 10 times the value of the piece. We asked him many times if there was anything we should do, any maintenance visit, any other issue. His answer was that the machine was running properly. He said he had done visits to our house with the previous owner in the past, and that everything was fine. We asked again if there was anything else we should do, the answer was no.
Two days later, on 11/27/2021 the machine froze. We call the company again. The technician who came said that the control board and sensors had to be replaced, as well as a limit switch for heat strip. He kept blaming the new thermostat we had installed, which had nothing to do. He said we would get an estimate on Monday. While he was working on the inside machine, we could smell something burning.
When he left, we realized the machine kept blowing cool air even when the AC was not working or it was completely shut off. They didn't even call us on Monday, we had to call them and the estimate was outrageous. We decided to contact another company. Another technician came and found a subsidiary filter in the inside machine which was all dirty and was clogging the machine.
It had not been changed in years, so I wonder how the first technician had been doing the maintenance in the house with the previous owner. He was able to fix a fuse that was also burnt that smell that we could feel and the cool air stopped blowing. It is obvious that we didn't need to replace the control board and the sensor, and now we are wondering if even the capacitor that was replaced was really the problem. NOT RECOMMENDING AT ALL! REPLY to the owner's response: We called you on 11/29/2021.

We certainly did NOT tell him that all was well with our system and we didn't need any further assistance. We had to request the estimate by email because we had not received it. I contacted you by email on 12/13/2021. The email was sent to the email address on your estimate and invoice documents. You contacted us when you read my review to request us to delete it. AMAZING!

We where having issues with AC not blowing hard enough. We made a service call. Tech advised we had some holes in Flex Duct. Spoke with Lance the estimator who advised repairs would be 1,475.00. Schedules repair work. Richard & Cisco arrived on time of date of repair. They where able to provide excellent customer service and found only a small. section of Flex duct that would need repair.
It's the honesty and Integrity of these repair men that took their time to perform an assessment of quote work to perform the job, That reduced my bill to 575.00. They where able to advice management staff that an entire duct replacement was not needed. They where able to repair the section that was damaged. Its the quality and professionalism these individuals have to understand the needs of customers.

We purchased our Mitsubishi Split system two years ago and are totally amazed at our very low electric bill, and the versatility of these units! The AC cools the house and heats as well! Crystal Air salesman was infirmative and answered all our ques! And the representative who came out today to clean our units was courteous, helpful and we are totally impressed! Thank you!

Crystal Air put in new duct work for our HVAC, Nest thermostat, and a mini-split in our sunroom and we could not be happier with the service or the results! We have never had a more comfortable home and we are already saving money on our bills. Their installers, Mike & Cisco, were amazing and professional and went out of their way to make sure I was happy with the installation. They have earned a lifelong customer!

I've used Crystal Air for over 7 years. Their techs are experienced, they do an excellent job explaining to the customer what is going on with your AC unit. They are prompt and always call when they are on their way. I've lived in Gainesville for over 40 years, I've used many local AC companies, Crystal Air is the first and only one I have ever recommended to my friends and family.

After noticing my AC was not cooling last night, I called Crystal Air this morning at 8am. Courtney answered and was super professional and helpful. She arranged for a technician to arrive at 11am. He was here on time, cleared a clog deep in the drain, and my AC is back to blowing cool air. June in Florida makes me grateful for AC, and I'm. extremely impressed and grateful for Crystal Air and Water today.

I won a Nest device from their Facebook competition. The gentleman who came to install it was so friendly and polite! He was quick and efficient too! He wore booties over his shoes to keep the house clean, . which I loved! He was very informative and even let my daughter help! The company seems so great and we will 100% be calling them for any and all issues we have here on out!

I have used Crystal Air & Water as they were the lowest bid and would negotiate when they weren't the lowest bid. They did not tell the person who came to the house the deal though, but it was straightened out quickly. I am pleased with the new a/c's which have been installed, much more energy efficient. The employees are very knowledgeable, friendly, and polite.
They do offer a $50 bird dog fee on a business card form - which they do not honor. I don't feel I should have to ask again for what their offer was. I have referred them twice though, because they are the lowest for a new a/c unit.

I called Crystal Air on Friday 5/31 to set up a scheduled appointment for Monday 6/3, they had an opening between 10am-1pm. The tech called me at 10am and arrived 15 min. later. The repair was done quickly and professionally. I had a blown capacitor on the blower fan. Their service fee was also very reasonable.

I've used Crystal twice to service the A/C in my condo, and it was a great experience both times. I live out of state with renters in Gainesville, and Crystal is so easy to work with. They contact the renter to schedule the appointment, often on the same day. I get a detailed explanation of the work performed and receipt for my records, always in a timely manner. And unlike some service people, they never bill me for extra work that I didn't authorize.
