Blake's Heating and Air Conditioning (License No. CSLB #299969) is family owned and operated and has been serving Yolo and Solano counties since 1973. We are the oldest Lennox dealer in Northern California with one of the the oldest heating and air contractors license. Blake's is one of the few companies still charging hourly rates for service as when the company was founded. We charge for materials and labor only. Our estimators and technicians are not commissioned so their concern is what is best for our customers.

With 750 installs a year it keeps us at the top of our game. The majority of installs are completed in one day with a 2-5 man crew. We pride ourselves in system replacement installers that are clean, courteous and productive. We are committed to doing a job that puts our customers' minds at ease.
We service all makes and models of heating and air conditioning units, and know the importance of keeping your furnace and air conditioning units in top-notch condition. Our trained and NATE certified technicians have the knowledge and the tools to diagnose your problem and repair it in a timely and professional manner.
We offer gutter and downspout replacement, a full sheet metal shop and a wide array of sheet metal products. For the do-it-yourselfer, we carry standard fittings to complete duct systems, hood vent parts, and dryer vent components with advice from our helpful staff. We stock sheet steel in varying gauges from light to heavy and specialize in custom fabrication, architectural and ornamental copper.

The best part of this company is the service. The prices are excellent and the insulation went smooth but the personal service was over the top. I always felt like I was their most important customer. They were friendly, efficient and the owner of the Company himself called me to follow up on a problem they had in the office that was actually totally my fault. Don't use another HVAC company. Not even once. Call Blake's, pay whatever amount they quote because along with the price is piece of mind and top notch service.

I never give anything 5 stars. But this company is simple amazing. From start to finish. Lady booking my appointment was so helpful and nice. Got someone out immediately in the 100 degree heat. He fixed it and added Freon in 45 mins. Super fast! Thank you for saving my ac unit and getting my home liveable again. Jared was awesome!

Andy was A+ today. Called me back fast and got our heater back up and running during a cold snap. He was beyond knowledgeable and a super high quality tech. I'm always nervous about getting work like this done but Andy showed me that this company is anything but greedy. I will be going back to Blake's whenever I have an issue from now on. They are an asset to this community.

Perhaps the office was having a bad day. Our estimate was for a house under renovation where no one is living. We communicated that at scheduling and we asked for a 30 min call ahead so we could get over there (only 7 min away) they said that was not a problem. I waited and waited for a call. Finally I called about 45 min before our window was closing.
When I called, I was told the technician showed up, waited 20 min and then left. I was told calling ahead wasn't their policy even though the person making the appointment said it wasn't a problem and understood we were not living there. We have had lots of traffic with various contractors, any that provided a window gave us a call ahead. It is a construction site!
There was no genuine apology. We have two small children which I could not bring to a construction site for 2 hours. We have no childcare because of the pandemic and I had coordinated with my husband to watch the kids when I ran over for the appointment during his working hours. A simple, "I'm very sorry" would have been nice. Instead I was made to feel like it was our fault for not waiting there. They did not have the technician come back and could not make a reasonable turnaround for the appointment. I asked if the owner could call me but never received a call.

When I bought my home, knowing it needed new heating and air conditioning, everyone I spoke with in Davis said, "Call Blake's." Driving around Davis, I spotted Blake's handsome trucks everywhere. Walking around my neighbourhood, I noticed that most of the heating and air conditioning units I spotted, outside my neighbour's homes, featured a Blake's logo.
The fixer-upper I purchased happened to have a heating and air conditioning unit that was installed by Blake's 22 years ago. It was still working fine, though in need of upgrading after two decades of service. This week, Blake's installed my new heating and air conditioning, along with an air purifying system. They also cleaned all the ducks and replaced the registers.
They were, as expected, a five-star team from beginning to end. Professional. Experienced. Detailed. Punctual. Thoughtful. Everything you want from a professional service, but too rarely get. Blake's more than lived up to their 5-Star reputation on all accounts. Hire them with confidence and joy.

Blakes has been coming to my rescue for 30 years now. I always have good things to say about them. They are prompt- Heating and air-conditioning always seem to go bad at the very worst times when it's an environmental crisis of some sort. They have a big enough crew they can come to the rescue. They do a variety of things for both heating and air-conditioning and, one fun time even helped us build a piece of research equipment! They know what they're doing, their prices are extremely reasonable, every single staff I've worked with has both intelligent and nice. Thank you guys!

I am so grateful for Blakes! My AC stopped working the day we hit triple digits and the temperature in the house was 89 degrees! Blakes came the next day and because my AC is quite old, I was preparing myself to have to replace it, and was quite worried. Brody was so professional, diligent, hard working, and was able to replace the motor. The price was reasonable and I feel so fortunate! Feeling blessedly cool and so fortunate!

Blake's installed a new HVAC system for me, charging me half what another company said they would charge, saving me $5,000! ( Blake's doesn't charge commissions. ) The estimator and the crew that did the install were prompt, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions thoroughly. In addition, the office staff was equally impressive. I highly recommend Blake's, and can see why they have such a good reputation.
