I wanted to be sure and write a review for the outstanding and professional service I received yesterday from Sean Morgan at Gallagher's heating and air. From the time he entered my home he explained everything as he went along and what my options were. While other companies told me I had to replace my Air Conditioner, which he said would be best for energy savings.
Once I explained my financial situation he was able to offer me a repair that would cost me around $800. what a pleasant surprise during these hard times for everyone. he gave me first class service with a smile. And now they won't stop calling us. STOP CALLING, when someone asks nicely, the first time, please stop, the 2nd time is beginning harassment, and the 3rd time, is now harassment! He did a great job in explaining our options and showed sensitivity regarding our requests and questions. Well, these guys are my heating and AC guys now. Such a good experience with them. Heat went out and they were there the next day. Fidel came out to help diagnose and fix my issue. I was working from home at the time and only had certain points where I could talk and he was super patient and understanding. Turns out I needed a new motor. He gave me options of an OEM motor and a universal one that was slightly cheaper.
I decided the OEM was a better choice and he was able to get one the same day and install it. Beyond that, he had videos to show me through the process, both showing me the issues before we decided on the best solution, and afterward. While none of us like dropping money on something that breaks, at least you can trust someone to give you honest info. That's what Fidel at Gallagher's did. Absolutely recommend using them.

It's always something with them. I vowed never to use them again after all the prior tech service problems and customer services issues, but my wife talked me into giving them another chance. Today, they no-called no-showed for our scheduled appointment. The tech called in sick, and no one bothered to call us, so we sat at home for the entire service window waiting for them to show (4 hours in the afternoon). We had to call the office to find out we was cancelled. No apology given. By that point, our whole day was shot.

Extremely thorough and communicative. Very professional from Service Tech to Sales Team, to install crew. Every option for new unit was laid out for me with cost and effectiveness for my home and I was not pressed into any sale I did not need or feel comfortable with. Install and set-up of new unit went smooth. Follow ups were performed by Gallagher's to make sure I was happy with crews, air conditioner, and overall customer service.
They left my home clean and made sure I was overly satisfied before they left. Even installed my new thermostats which I purchased without question. I would recommend Gallagher's to anyone! ANYONE!

Had them come out and do a check up on my 2 year old unit because I was thinking of selling and wanted a good report to show buyers. Never had any issues with my air since the install and even the inspection report by their tech came back with everything working great. Well surprise, surprise. 3 days later on a Friday the unit is broken, I call them and of course they are closed over the weekend per the answering service even though the website says 24/7 emergency services.
A tech comes on Monday after all of us have been sweating all freaking weekend only to tell me the Motor is burned out and it would be $1800 to fix plus another $79 for this service call, are you kidding me! You don't find it suspicious that only 3 days earlier it was in perfect working order, your tech messed with it and now it's burnt out! I'm not saying he did anything on purpose but something happened while he was working on it to burn out a perfectly good motor.
I reached out to the install people and they said it was still under warranty and a Gallaghers tech could replace it since he was here. Of course he didn't want to do that since they didn't do the install and didn't know if they could get the part. I'm so far mad at this point he needs to leave if he is not going to fix it. Cut to the next day and surprise again, they found the part and could come out in a few days to install at the $1800 rate!
I had to hang up before not so nice words exited my mouth. So here we are in 102-106 degree weather with no air for almost a week and they refuse to acknowledge any responsibility. I will never do business with these people again and I most certainly will never recommend them to people, least you could do is refund my $140 in service calls so I can pay for another company to come out and fix what you broke!

I hope the driver of the truck is the owner of the company because for him, I will never recommend this company or use them personally. Today at 4:30pm on truxel this driver cut off my family in work truck #104, so we honked, then he proceeded to flip us off as if we did something wrong. Very bold of him to act in such a manner while driving a work vehicle. What a great reflection of the business he works for.

This company send technicians to come and didn't do maintainance for your air conditioning or heater but just find any defects or parts that your system have and make you fear to spend money on that. Telling you this part could go wrong or will break any time and the replacement is a thousand when your heating or air continuing is working just fine.
Their technicians are not trained well or understandable and not customer based service. They just want to lecture or push customer or housewives or elders to believe what they said. The service guy is very proud and arrogant.

We have had good experiences with the plumbing side of the business. This was the second and it was a simple issue. He told me what to check before calling if I notice the problem again. The previous time, the guy got us to enroll in their Shamrock Club for semi annual HVAC inspections, and quarterly $25 gift cards. On the first inspection, the tech tried to sell us a new unit, unnecessarily.
I don't think we have received the cards every quarter. They aren't as usable sold to us - in fact - I have made three calls to try and use the cards that haven't expired yet. For plumbing- no complaints - for HVAC - I'd think twice.

My husband said he was nice and respectful. He explained exactly why we needed a part by showing my husband what it looked like and why it wasn't working right showed him the date on the part it was almost 18 years old. He ordered us a new part and said he would be back tomorrow to install it. Great experience with this company. Service: Repair AC

We've been part of the Shamrock Club for 18 years, and the Gallagher's service technicians are always professional. I appreciate how they respect our property, wearing coverings on their shoes inside and requesting to move things outside. I also appreciate their protective masking to protect themselves and customers. They make sensible recommendations, and do great work!

They installed my new heating unit and air and all my ducts were changed out. Staff and technicians and everybody was really nice and knowledgeable which I appreciate it but when I went to use my whole house fan it didn't turn on so I called Gallaghers as they were the last ones in the attic working around my house fan and asked if maybe they accidentally tripped something or disconnected it and I was told by management that they don't do that and to call a mechanical engineer which I did and found out they had tripped my system

Caesar arrived on time and got right to work. He checked our unit for any problems and replaced our filters. He showed me a photo of the blower motor and the dust on it. He suggest a complete cleaning, and that it could be done. I looked at the photo and decided to blow out the dust myself. He was very professional and we are pleased with this visit. One of Gallagher's senior technicians performed its semi-annual check of my whole-house HVAC system that the company installed in 2018. As always, he was both personable and professional; did an extensive check of the system, changed my electronic Air Ranger filter, effected a minor furnace repair, and shared a lot of information about how the equipment works so I can monitor its operation more effectively. All this was covered under my maintenance contract - and someone will be back in 6 months to check things out again! I couldn't be more pleased.

We had our furnace go out during a cold snap. when I tell you this tech or should I say "salesmen" tries to sell me a new 25000 dollar unit before even looking at it. even though this was the first time it had gone out and even though our house was built in 06 making the unit not that old. I definitely declined and when the tech found the issue he of course found other problems with the unit telling me to fix everything was gonna look like about 8000 dollars.
I told him to only fix the thing that was causing the furnace not to work and that I'd worry about the rest at a later time. this is when he proceeded to tell me of their shamrock club where for a small monthly fee you can save money on their parts and equipment but this too is a joke because you are paying "extra" money to "feel" like your saving money because their parts are ridiculously over priced. they ended up getting about 900 bucks out of me but I won't give them a penny more. fast forward 2 months and the furnace goes out again so I go with a different company a friend recommended and they were here and along with fixing the furnace and diagnosing it I paid about 200 bucks. they diagnosed it without the knowledge that a Gallagher tech was here and they didn't see the same issues so when I asked them to follow up on those issues as well after he was done he said that he didn't see those issues and said how he has helped A LOT of unhappy Gallagher customers. these people are scam artists and will squeeze you for every penny you've got Update! Had a pleasant conversation with Jim Gary the operations manager about my experience and what went wrong.
He apologized for how the Company made me feel after visiting my home and noticed some training opportunities based on the feedback I had given. He was understanding of why I felt this way and the call made me feel better about the business I had done with them Thank you

My 90 year old mother, who lives alone and maintains the house I grew up in, has been a loyal customer and paid 16.99 for a club membership to Park Mechanical for 45 years. That equals 9,180.00. She has her HVAC system checked twice a year so it was a shock to her to find out after a recent check that a gas valve failed leaving her in the cold, with a raging pandemic and she has not been vaccinated.
It was also a shock when she found out her warranty was only 5 years instead of 10. (She paid 10,000.00 for the unit) and the warranty expired a month ago. Park Mechanical would not honor the newly expired warranty. They told her it would take 7 days to get the part. She sat in her cold house for 2 days and finally called another company who installed the part the same day. This company failed my mother.
It was also a shock when she found out her warranty was only 5 years instead of 10. (She paid 10,000.00 for the unit) and the warranty expired a month ago. I went with this company based on the good reviews they got on this site but I would say Using them was the biggest mistake I've ever made. I recently paid 18k for a new heating and AC System and had them updated the insulation in my roof as well. I will just highlight the major problems without boring everyone. 1. Once they get your money they could care less if your system is working or not.
Their install rep Morgan is so stuck up that even if you called, left messages, and emailed she wouldn't respond. Our system broke 1 week after installation and I had to chase after her down like she was some celebrity and when I finally got ahold of her, her response was "I saw your call and your emails but my lunch and meeting are way more important than responding." 2.
Poor workmanship the insulation was not even filled to the top like it was suppose to. Since they ran out of materials on the day of instillation they just left it 3/4 of the way full. If I the AC didn't brake and another inspection was not done we would have no idea that the insulation was not completed. They would had just left it that way. The duck work and sealing were not competed either. 3.
Poor management. After receiving such poor service, trying to get them out there to finish filling up the insulation and duct work was a struggles as well. No one followed up on the work that needed to be done and appointments would be cancel over and over. The mangers would say they would follow up but they never do. Even when after talking to their owner he didn't even give a proper apology I never got one for that stuck up install rep Morgan as well.
So based on experience I would never ever use this company again. Not only did that cause me a world of stress but also jeopardise my family health as well. The install process from start to finish took about 2 months. Who knows how long it would have take if I wasn't proactive.

We had a new HVAC system installed by Gallagher's last October. The scheduling, financial planning and installation all went great and everyone was really friendly. When we had our inspection done to obtain the final permit, there was one minor correction that needed to be made. The inspector told me that Gallagher's would be calling to set up an appointment to make that correction and then he would be back out after to finalize everything.
I waited a week and hadn't received any calls from Gallagher's, so I text the man we purchased the system from to inquire and make sure I got the information correct from the inspector because I hadn't heard anything. He let me know he would get in touch with the office for them to call me to set up an appointment. A few more weeks passed and I still hadn't heard anything, so I just called the office myself.
I was transferred to the voicemail of someone that could assist in setting up an appointment and left my call back information. A month later, and still no call back so I called back again. I explained the situation to the receptionist and I believe she transferred me over to the manager. I again explained the situation and what I needed to have done and he told me that I would be receiving a call the next day to get something scheduled.
A week later, my husband received the call and we scheduled for someone to come out the next day. The fix took 15 minutes but it took almost 3 months to make it happen, which is disappointing. Our system works great and everyone that we spoke to and worked with were very friendly, which is wonderful but I shouldn't have had to call as many times as I did and wait for as long as we did to get a 15 minute fix completed. I believe my experience shows that there is an improvement opportunity in regards to customer service.

Our experience with this company (they installed new AC unit about a year ago and came to do maintenance today) has been nothing short of awesome! From the customer service to speedy and thorough work of the technicians, it's all been a great experience. And not to mention, after saving for several months to get this new AC, it runs like a champ and worth every penny. We highly recommend Gallagher's!

Ryan was on time, courteous and very thorough during the AC maintenance service. He also showed us a comparison of our current starter that came with the unit and an upgraded one. Based on the findings, we decided to upgrade in order to ensure that our current system will have the best chance at lasting longer. There was no pressure to buy, just information so that we could make an informed decision. We were very happy with the service.
