The most unprofessional and least reliable people I have ever met. Don't bother calling, most of their phones don't work. And once you do get through you'll be greeted with the worst customer service. Take your money elsewhere

I received 4 quotes to install a central air system on my house and I ended up going with Tech Air. Peter and his team were excellent. Honest, on time each day, and a very clean install. Highly recommended.

We were recommended this company by a friend. We had Justin come out to write up a proposal for a split system for our up and downstairs. He came out in a timely fashion and was very professional. It ends here! We waited over 2 weeks for a quote and called to ask if he had a proposal for us yet. He explained he had been swamped but would get something out to us soon.

We waited again for 3 more weeks and when we contacted Justin he was full of apologies and responded with he was sorry, he had been unprofessional and please forgive and understand! He would get back to us ASAP! It is over a week and we have heard NOTHING back. What a joke, how can these people stay in business!?!

We were recommended Tech air systems by a friend of ours. We asked for a proposal to be written for a split air system for both top and bottom floors of our home. Justin was sent out and appeared very professional and thorough. That's where it all ends! We waited three weeks and finally contacted Justin and asked about our proposal. He explained he was swamped and he would get one out to us very soon.

After waiting 3 more weeks, we decided to make one more call. Justin was extremely apologetic and said he was very sorry it had been taking him so long. He said he would get back to us ASAP with the proposal. We waited another week and still nothing. What a disappointment especially after being recommended to this company by a friend of ours.

Peter came out hardly spent anytime diagnosing, didn't want to seem bothered. Said my capacitor was missing! I cleared away some leaf debris and voila, there it was. He didn't have some items to further test system, telling me he'd come back the next day or 2 to install new capacitor, though never heard from anyone again nor did I bother calling considering the 10 mins spent guessing for $140 service call. I don't expect you to have a crystal ball to repair items however he could have shown some interest or follow through.

Called the office asking for an estimate for heat pump installation in Peabody. The receptionist told me that they do not serve Peabody area even though below is what is posted on their website: Proudly Serving Danvers, Beverly, Boxford, Essex, Georgetown, Gloucester, Hamilton, Ipswich, Lynnfield, Manchester by the Sea, Marblehead, Newbury, Newburyport, Peabody, Rockport, Rowley, Salem, Swampscott, Topsfield, & Wenham. I guess they are not interested in any business in the neighboring town.

I had used them in the past for service 5+ years ago and they were very responsive. However, asked them to come out and give me a price on new system, 2 zone A/C and Heating. I called multiple times, no response the first couple of times and the last time, "we'll get back to you". I gave up and went with another person.

Great company to deal with. Quick response and awesome service.

My go to shop, they have helped us out of emergencies within hours. Our daughter unexpectedly died and we had to leave asap, my husband flew out and I was to follow. August, ac quit that day and we have animals, I need someone today. They had someone out within an hour and had us up and running. Fast forward 4 years, we are elderly, thermostat dies, it is winter.

It is a small job, no one is interested in replacing a thermostat. I call. They are there the next morning, tech is efficient, kind and walks us through the new thermostat. Good people, I highly recommend.

This Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor/Company is the best! If I could give them 10 stars, I would. They were prompt, professional and have excellent customer service. We had no heat at our commercial building so I called Tech Air. The technician came out that day and I was quoted a fair price to do the repair. They did a great job and I would highly recommend them!

My AC unit stopped working at 8:30 at night during a heat wave I called and left a message explaining my situation, I have a medically involved child that requires around the clock care and has respiration issues. Peter called me back that evening and said he would figure out a way to get someone there in the morning. He personally came over in the morning, Identified the problem, a bad capacitor and had the system functioning in no time. I cant remember the last time I received exceptional service like this, I will be a tech air customer for a very long time!

I cannot believe the lack of responsiveness from a business. I first called to have some duct work done on a Monday morning. I was told they'd get back to me later that day. No call back. On Wednesday I called again, and was told the same thing. Again, no response. I decided to go w/ another company, but the estimate came back quite high, so after swallowing my pride I called them again, about two weeks after the first go-around.

This time I called the Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday mornings, each time with the same response that they'd have someone call me back, but each time failing to do so. About three more weeks go by (well after I've given up on them) before they finally call back to schedule an estimate, which I only accept because the cost of this work was significant.

The very next day, they call me back again to cancel, because they got a big work order the previous afternoon, and won't be doing 'small jobs.' Well, they will never do a job at my house. I STRONGLY recommend finding somebody else.

My heating unit broke down and I was nervous about trying a new HVAC company because I had a negative experience (on many levels) with one I formerly used. I am very happy I called Tech Air Systems this morning. I was told a technician could be at my home at the time I would be returning from work, and I was grateful that they were so accomodating. Mike was very knowledgeable and professional.

He not only repaired the problem but also detected and took care of something else that had been an ongoing issue, but never properly diagnosed before. They don't overcharge either, which is a big plus! The company I used before added a mysterious "truck charge", which I was happy not to see on my invoice today. If you are unsure about which service company to call, put your doubts aside and call Tech Air Systems!

I tried using Service Magic to get an HVAC repair made on my service. The company they sent quoted $1200, this company, Tech Air, did it for $450, and did a great job. Leo is a pleasant, focused and easy to understand technician. He sticks to his quote, does great work, and doesn't try to oversell services or parts. I'd highly recommend this company.
