Steer clear of these guys! The technicians are inexperienced and have no idea what they're doing. My a/c was making a horrible noise and I was unable to run it. Called Gordon's and the technician came out. He diagnosed the problem as bad bearings in the fan motor and replaced it, charging me $683. This did not fix the problem. Called them again. Same Technician came back out. Did a refrigerant leak test for $300. Surprise!
I have leaks. Then diagnosed the compressor as going bad and said the evaporator coil needed to be replaced. The next day, they called with an estimate. It would cost $1,513 to replace the compressor and evaporator coil (and that is with the warranty). Oh, and the parts wouldn't be here for a week. My son even overheard the technician telling someone on the phone, "I don't know what to do." He was a nice person, just doing his job, but he had zero idea what he was doing and that is ridiculous! Apparently, they just go through changing out parts until they find the right one.
Now I'm out $1000 because the technician didn't know what he was doing. Turns out, it was easily fixed for $150 by another company. And there was no refrigerant leak. I will never call Gordon's again and I will tell everyone I know to stay away from them!

Needed a maintenance check. Turns out its $119 for maintenance. Its recommended to have AC checked before summer and heater checked before winter. They have a membership program. $225 to signup and covers first visit. Then $199 per year. It covers them coming out twice a year for maintenance checks. Really helps to catch issues before a lot of damage is done.
Military discount only for active duty. Not retires. Update - 1 year later our AC finally died so we bought a Lennox through them and had it installed. The original wiring that runs through conduit they left dangling off the side of the AC unit. They had to come out a second time because an additional component was defective during the installation.
They didn't remove the concrete platform from the old condenser and put a larger platform on top of the old one. Then put a brick under the edge. Condenser is too heavy to lift to get a brick out from under. They drilled a larger hole in the bricks and left it like that. 2 months after installation we tried to use the heater and its blowing cold air. Turns out Lennox changed their wiring and some technicians aren't reading the changes. As much as we paid for this new system, there shouldn't be so many issues. Thinking we overpaid for this experience.

Let me tell you about a Company/Man that is OUTSTANDING! I built my house in 2008 and Gordon's did the A/C. Lennox was not the cheapest but it was/is the best. I will Never regret this decision. In 1997 he (Mr Tom) walked into my prior house and started pointing to all the roof vents that were facing the wrong way. I had switched them. (my fault) When I was building this house he stressed that I would hear the outside unit where I wanted it located outside my bedroom.
We actually put it there anyways because of space constraints but I don't hear that quiet lil thing at all. Gordon's has helped me through One single incident due to ants over the phone due to an emergency (in my mind) basis. The technician couldn't get to me but told me where to buy the part, how to install it (I am handy with tools) and bodda-bing SHE works again!

I could not be happier with the superior service that my wife and I received from Gordon Air Conditioning. We purchased a full air conditioning & heating system from them, outside and inside. Before choosing them I had many questions as a brand new homeowner and never having to purchase a system before. I asked all of my questions via email and they were quick to respond with easy to understand responses.
After several weeks of back and forth questions with Gordon as well as another company, it became clear that Gordon was the way to go. We purchased a 16 SEER Lennox system. They basically installed everything in one day. The outside condenser came with a concrete pad. We received a really cool thermostat that connects with WiFi so that we can control the settings from our mobile device.
During the install they were very helpful to point out any issues beyond the system that might need to be serviced. It's so nice to have common sense grounded people in today's world when you are doing business transactions such as this. Mathew, of Gordon Air-conditioning gave me the best quote in town to install a brand new 3.5 ton Air-conditioning system. He also seemed the best to work with and was very service oriented. So he and his team of J.R. and Jacob installed the unit, walked me through the new system showing the work they had done and answered any question I had. It's been great, no problems. Mathew has also been very responsive to questions and with help on minor details.
I feel like at the end of the day I got great service, a quality replacement for our old equipment at a fair price, and a company who is willing to stand by their work. Bottom line is I was very happy with the entire process and would highly recommend them to others. Thank You v/r. Mr. Garcia

Purchased my new house in April 2020, in August I called Gordan Heating and Air because my AC was not blowing cold air. During the visit the technician diagnosed a problem with the outside unit board, he then rewired the board so that the AC would work and told me that he would order a new board, I have the service receipt stating a new board was needed and would be ordered.
In October I had received no word from Gordan Heating and Air so I called them and they again sent a Technicion, the technician replaced my thermostat but still had not replaced the faulty board on the outside unit. In December the weather turned cold and un beknownest to me, my heating system is not working. I again called Gordan Heating and air and they sent a technician, he looked over the system and said it was fine.
No more than two days later, still no heat so I called again and the same technician came out. I told him about the issue back in August and he inspected the board and found the board had not been replaced and was still rewired from the technician in August. The technician again rewired the board to allow heat and told me he would order another replacement board.
On 20 January (now 5 months after the 1st visit) my theater again stopped working again. The technician came out and looked over the unit and the board is now not functional at all and he called back to the office and the office had no record of anything prior to this visit. I had to show the technician every service receipt and they claimed due to switching systems they could not see my record.
Today is the 29th of January and I again called Gordan Heating and Air and they tried to tell me the technician came to my residence on the 25th and the part was ordered on the 26th, I had to again correct them and tell them that their technician came to my residence two weeks ago. **UPDATE** After posting my above post I was contacted by Lathe and he came out the next day.
He was able to replace the board and the unit was functioning however, the unit again stopped the next day. Lathe sent out a tech who trouble shot the entire system and discovered the wiring had issues. Gordon heating and air went ahead and replaced the wiring along with all internal components of my system to ensure the problem was corrected. It has been a week and thus far no issues. I hope that this is the the standard of their service and the previous issues have been corrected. I currently cannot give more stars because of what I have went through.

Couldn't be happier with the professional and friendly service we recieved from this company and the employees. We got three quotes from different hvac co and we ended up going with Gordon. Matthew came over and gave us quotes on a new system with different options to for our budget. He was very knowledgeavle about the products and hvac in general.
He actually came over a second time to go over information and answer questions again with my son who is the homeowner. I would say his professionalism and knowledge really made the process very smooth. Kenny & Chris came out and replaced my unit. They were very friendly and explained everything I needed to know where I could understand. I am a new home owner and the previous owner installed an HVAC system. My spouse and I heard a loud noise coming from inside our utility room. We checked to see where the noise was coming from and we noticed it was our system. Shortly after we noticed the temperature in the house had gotten hotter. We called "Gordon" & requested someone to come and take a look at it. An employee came out that same evening and did a diagnostics test.
He said the motor had gone out and they would be able to fix it. To come out and LOOK at it was $79. Ok. Great. No problem. We needed our air fixed and if that was the price to pay then no worries. He said he would come back in a few days after they ordered the part. After he gave an "estimate" of an $800 fee we decided to look elsewhere. Even though that particular employee said that "Gordon was the ONLY company who would be able to fix this particular HVAC system." Which in turn was a lie.
We took our chances. We contacted 2 other companies & the second company was just as horrific as Gordon. Our third choice stopped by and did a COMPLETE diagnostic test and found that there were TWO problems. The motor did in fact go out, but there was a part that had been completely burned and started to spark. I have 3 small children. What would have happened if it would have caught fire?
All because Gordon didn't do a COMPLETE diagnostic test on my HVAC system, but had the AUDACITY to charge $79. I am beyond livid. Also, they showed up UNANNOUNCED! There was no text, email, or phone call saying that they would be coming to my home. The technician shows up & STILL didn't do ANYTHING! Their professionalism is poor. Gordon Air stated ".While UNLIKELY you'll ever have an emergency situation with your NEW (cause it is new) Waterfurnace system, there is an after hours charge to compensate the technician." Well, we had an emergency and the technician got away with $79. TO DO A HALF BEHIND JOB! Never again.

I have used Gordon Air Conditioning before and every time have been very pleased with the service provided. Professional, prompt and just darn nice to work with. Matt performed the service call today and immediately troubleshot the problem with a bad capacitor and replaced the defective part without charging me an arm and a leg! Just got my 1-year check-up from new A/C, Heat pump and Duct-work last fall. Matt &Joey led the install; Had mold and restricted throat in old materials, so team put in a new throat and duct work. Some delays due to parts, however, Mr Gordon provided his awareness, and a free additional year of service: The install team worked aggressively to ensure the job was done right. The 1-year follow-up provided checklist results and addressed 2 noise items. Very Satisfied with my Lennox unit and with Gordon Air.

I can not put into words how amazing this company is. My husband had surgery Tuesday and that night our AC went out. We called Gordon because they had been amazing for us before. Due to the recent temperature drop in the local area, I had to turn my heat on. It worked somewhat for a few days then started blowing cold air. I set up an appointment with Gordon air. First and foremost, Sally, the lady that helped me when I first contacted Gordon was very friendly and professional on the phone. She stated they were busy and would contact me back in a few minutes.
She did just that. Not only did she call me back, she was able to work me into their busy schedule. She called me back when the tech was on the way. Once the tech was there, I explained my problem and he knew right away a solution. It was an error that I had created with the system and the tech explained what I had done wrong and how to avoid the issue again. The tech was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly as well. I will use this company again and I highly recommend them.

Once the tech was there, I explained my problem and he knew right away a solution. I am thoroughly impressed with my dealings with Gordon Air. I have had to use them several times and they are always polite and efficient. I had 1 issue that took 3 trips to resolve and they did so at no charge. I want to note that Nick and Joey were patient, polite and very thorough in resolving my issues. Extremely professional and great to work with. They even cleaned up so you couldn't tell they had been here after making a mess from cutting materials, etc. I will continue to use them exclusively.
