We are Nashville's original HVAC Experts. One of the oldest HVAC companies in town, we've been in continuous operation right here in the same South Nashville neighborhood since 1959. To this day, we continue to build our reputation. We stay focused on the same values put in place when we first opened our doors.
Then, we start the ball rolling. We get you on our schedule and go to work. We manage our service department call by call and stay on top of what's needed for each of our customers. For residential service (it's a little different for commercial), we do NOT charge by the hour and we don't have an extra charge for travel time.
How do you know if it's time to replace your old cooling and heating equipment or improve the performance of your overall system?. Installation of new HVAC equipment is a major expense, however we don't believe compromise for the sake of price is necessary. When it's time to make an investment, there are many options available and opportunities for increasing efficiency and performance along with your comfort to consider. New higher-efficiency air conditioning equipment uses at least 20 percent less energy than older models.

All of the air inside your home or in a commercial building completely circulates through the HVAC system in 8 - 16 minutes. Your HVAC system is the center of your indoor environment and a proper install with regular duct cleaning and maintenance can determine your indoor air quality. According to the EPA, without proper ventilation and air cleaning, indoor air can be 2 to 5 times more polluted than outdoor air.

Everyone knows how hard it can be to deal with HVAC. The lack of knowledge, the high costs. I had Steven come out to quote me a replacement on a new HVAC unit, as I was being told i needed to replace my 2 year old HVAC that was having problems. I had 5 people come to the house and they all quoted me between $6500 and $10500, and then Steven rolls up like a boss, questions why it needs replacing, and within 15 minutes had my unit back up and running.
He wouldn't even take cash. His kindness and willingness to problem solve my issue saved me so much money. I can't even begin to thank him enough. I will be using these guys for any service and replacements in the future.

We have been using Air Conditioning Service for almost 30 years and would never consider using anyone else! When we moved into this house, we used another company but quickly found that they were ripping us off! So we switched and have never regretted it. Charged $99 for someone to come out and "diagnose" (look for 5 minutes and leave) then I end up getting a call about scheduling, without ever getting a invoice of how much it's going to cost/how long it'll take them to get the project done. When I asked to get a quote, the front office woman who took my call seem irritated and made me feel it was a inconvenience to ask. Called me back with a estimate but really couldn't confirm what we were to be expected to pay. Sketchy.
So we didn't end up going with this company. There are plenty of good HVAC companies who take the time to go over options and the invoices with you, don't charge to come and look, so no I don't recommend this company.

This company went above and beyond the call of duty. They understood the urgency of our call, and despite being overbooked, still made time to stop by. The tech who arrived on site was very friendly and professional and his confidence and competence put me at ease. He had the tools and materials needed to do the job without any prior indication or diagnostics of the problem(s).
He was quick to assess and act, came prepared and as a result, the job was completed, the unit fully operational within an hour of his arrival. He offered his opinions on some lesser issues that can be handled without formal HVAC training, empowering and educating the property management team on site to avoid costly repairs.

My sister suggested I call when I moved back to Nashville- have has 5 visits --3 maintenance / 2 service calls --old HVAC unit. They always come fast --within the day or next morning, guys are professional and explain exactly what they are doing. Work fast and seem as happy as I am when its not a major repair-- so far! Reliability and great customer service are getting rarer. I appreciate their great service.

Air Conditioning Service, Inc replaced our split heat pump system after our old condenser unit failed. They were competitively priced and very knowledgeable. The team was clean and respectful of my home as they worked in it. I appreciated that David took the time to understand what I was looking for in a new system and presented me the options I was asking for without trying to up-sell me on things I didn't need. I would definitely call them again if I ever need HVAC service in the future.

Disappointed in the professionalism and lack of customer care with this company. The service man Jason diagnosed my HVAC and stated I would need an entirely new system, and yet still cleaned my coils without my permission and still charged me for it. Called the company to dispute it and they simply said, "we have to run a business!" HA! Immediately called another company to have them service my HVAC where they told me it was actually under warranty and would be no charge! What a joke!

Had them come to do Spring maintenance and was told both units looked good. Next day downstairs unit started having a problem and within 48 hours stopped working. Had it checked and discovered the unit not only wasn't cleaned but had a leak that ended up freezing the unit and now I have to get a new unit. Spoke to manager who gave me an explanation on what they do for their spring maintenance, which he said included cleaning but obviously it wasn't. Switched services to another company.
