Frustrating! They repaired my oven putting in a new igniter in October 2018. The 17 year oven never had any issues with it till then. Once it was repaired I thought it would be fine at least for 3 or 4 years. Only 9 months later it went bad again. They did not cover any of the cost so the repair had to be paid in full. Nearly $400.00 into it so far.

Today I went to make something in the over, SAME THING AGAIN! So I don't know if it's the cheapo parts or what but it's beyond annoying. Of course they won't do anything to help me now that it's been 3 years. Done. UPDATE: After close examination what is wrong I saw that one of the wires to the igniter was not attached. Installed poorly, or this would not have happened. Looks like some tape was used instead of just the wire nuts alone, but not enough to not lead to the connection failing. Stripped the wire and reattached and got it up and running.

I bought my condo just under a year ago and have been having AC issues on and off. I have had 5 different companies out to check it. 6th company was the charm. The Prime tech came out took me into the attic and walked me through the problem, rewired and repiped, pulled me back in and walked me through the new setup, and showed me the old pipes explaining the issue. I would highly recommend Prime!

Yury was very responsive and knowledgable on what he came to do. He was very patient and accommodating. Solved air-conditioning issues that actually related to plumbing, drainage issues. While he was here he was kind enough to check the freon level and other possible issue to make sure they all functioning properly as requested. So far it is working great! Thank you!

DO NOT give this company your business. As a fellow Russian I am completely shocked and disappointed at this company run by my fellow Russians. There is a lack of character and pride from Sean and Max down to the techs they send out. There is a level of negligence here, in how they operate, in how they do work, that it borders on an actual defrauding of their customers and of the warranty servicer.

How are these people even still in business? They were sent out by the home insurance - must be how they get new clients because based on other customers that had very similar experiences- they aren't able to attract actual new business. Lo and behold, we get a phone call from the warranty company and the report misstates what the issue was, like not even close to what was found during the visit.

I don't know if they got confused with another property, or just didn't want to do the work, but they were so bad we had to call the warranty company and see if they could find someone else. If you got assigned to them through the warranty and that brought you to this page, RUN. You will thank me later- maybe you'll avoid the headache that we just went through with their lack of professionalism and service.

You can look at the company's response to tell you everything you need to know about how they do business. They spend more time responding to a yelp review and issuing threats then they do actually trying to help us out as customers. We do everything by the book and by the code, we do ask that a company does so as well. Completed HVAC permit was approved by LA City on 2/3/2021, company misstates that there was no permit, but what do you expect from people trying to justify themselves?

We were asking them to be honest and accurate in their report- but they added notes that were simply not true- they did not open up the unit and they did not perform a proper diagnosis. At no time were they instructed to lie as stated in the response- we simply want them to be honest. If they were being honest their tech would have shown up with tools and done a proper diagnosis- with photos and support for their position.

We work in real estate and we need to work with many different contractors at every level, both good and bad. Prime Master is a very bad business that could have been honest and forthcoming - first they said there was a clogged drain pipe after waiting a week for the report- when we are having 100+ degree weather in LA and its an AC issue? I mean where is the empathy, where is the willingness to help and do the extra step for their customers?

Then they claim there is internal damages to the unit without opening it up? You have to be a certain kind of person to push that kind of misrepresentation on the customer or the home warranty company without any evidence to back it up. Even the home warranty agent stated, "company refused to give any answers, information, or evidence to support their diagnosis.

They simply stated to us that they refuse to help this person and are refusing to return to the property." They started getting a little crazy on me when I asked if they could please submit their report of the issue to the warranty company within the next few days. He stated, "getting estimates for the replacements take time and I'm not willing to stay up 24 hours." I said, "no problem, just please do it as soon as you can, we are needing our AC to work, and I just don't want the delay to happen due to the report itself being submitted late, especially because the warranty company still needs to order the part." This was a transfer to Prime Master due to the previous AC company not having the adequate skill to open the unit up and replace the bad evaporator coil.

Not sure why this is relevant in his response. There were not 5 companies as stated- we did accommodate several visits while they tried a few solutions to find the issue. Absolutely awful company to try and work with. They were dispatched by Old Republic Home Warranty and I just could not get them to 1. be reliable and do the things they said they were going to do, 2. act with honesty and integrity, 3. maintain professionalism through out the transaction, 4. follow up with estimates, submit reports on time to the warranty company and 5. communicate in their report what we discussed and make sure its accurate for a report.

They straight up fabricated an issue for their report not just once, but twice! Based on just this experience I cannot see how this company is able to be licensed, bonded, and insured- they are rude, disrespectful, negligent, and were outright defrauding the home warranty company. It is our obligation to report them to the licensing board and file suit for constructive fraud. Intentional misrepresentation of facts/details in their report- stating the drain pipe was clogged after we waited a week to submit their report (it was not, this was the first thing we checked), then blaming it on installation (we checked taping, leveling, presence of all parts needed for proper function, everything was correct), and then the latest crazy situation when their tech showed up with no tools, borrowed our level and tape measure, DID NOT open the unit for proper diagnosis (told home warranty company they did) and claimed there was damage to the evaporator coils without actually opening up the unit to see the issue, which is required for this type of diagnosis.

They were unable to provide unit information, or photographs to support what they did, because of course, it never happened. They also want to blame everyone but themselves- the home warranty company, previous installers, the home owner- it was crazy to see an actual company behaving like this. When we called in to politely inquire why the submitted report did not match what we discussed (and no estimate was submitted for a replacement part, also as discussed) and fabricating diagnosis work that they claim was performed during the visit- they said "we aren't dealing with you, this conversation is over. Try and prove we didn't open the unit up." And hung up on us twice! Consumer protections are designed to protect people from these exact kinds of people

I waited a week to post this review as I was just THAT angry with this company. They were dispatched by Old Republic Home Plan to repair my wall heater that had barely been used. The technician arrived on 11/27/20, took the cover off the unit, tested it for voltage present and asked me to turn off the breaker. I did. He then proceeded use a tool to pry one of the electrical connections from the on/off switch and then proclaim I needed a new thermostat.

About a month later he returned with a smaller replacement unit and said he had to come back when he got the right size replacement. So just shy of four months after the technician came out, the company finally called le and said no replacement parts were available for the unit and that they could install a smaller replacement and I would have to have drywall replaced and painted at my expense, or get a cash out from Old Home Republic.

So I called the manufacturer of the heater who not only told me a replacement thermostat was available, they even gave me a link to the $40 part. The problem, however, is the technician had destroyed the on/off switch and that part was not available. I called Prime Master several times. As one could guess they backed their technician and said there were many things wrong with my unit.

I told them the unit had only been used once and was told they "can go bad even if not used." They also said if their supplier didn't have the part, they had no reason to contact the manufacturer. I really don't need a brand new unit. According to the manufacturer the technician should have run a jumper and bypass the thermostat and determine the actual problem.

It seems that the technician probably made up his mind to permanently disable the unit by destroying the on/off switch. The irony is that when the technician came out on 11/27/20, I already knew my wall unit was discontinued and an exact replacement unavailable. I told the technician that when he was at my home. Yet he negligently or intentionally made sure the unit was not repairable and STILL tried to get an exact replacement.

Four months wasted. Now I have buy a different size unit, to hire an electrician to install it, hire a drywall repair company to patch the wall and a painter to make it match. And, of course, Prime Master kept the money I paid for the "service call."

I will never recommend prime master ever. They kept me waiting over 3 weeks for a replacement part in the middle of August. After constant communication they outright lied about ever saying they would return to finish the AC, completely changed their tune. I don't need liars and unprofessional unethical people working in my house. Don't use them. I believe their names were Max and perhaps Alex.

My husband and I are pretty gobsmacked at how rude and disrespectful the people from this company were. (Our property management contacted this company to send someone out for service) Our AC and Heat have both been struggling to stay on consistently, often turning on and immediately turning themselves back off and in general struggling to maintain the temperature in the apartment (Ex: Temp set to 75, AC runs for an hour and shuts off at 77).

A loose Google turned up a myriad of possibilities of the system short-cycling and possible leaks and or broken parts, so that's why we wanted someone more experienced to vet out all of these supposed options. The technician who came to the apartment outright ignored my husband and wouldn't speak to him. He handed over his phone with someone on the line, but that man interrupted my husband literally every time he tried to speak.

All the technician did is show up, turn on the heat, and hand us the filter from the heater (without, of course, showing us how he accessed it at all). Then, in the only instance where he acknowledged we exist, told us everything's working so he's done. His manager (or whoever was on the phone) repeated this over the course of steamrolling over my husband's attempt to speak, saying they can't fix something that's working.

We were given no opportunity to actually discuss and reiterate with them the behavior of our air/heat system that prompted us to get their help in the first place. We NEVER claimed that our heat "just doesn't work" - it was never that simple. He also never went to look at the AC unit on the roof. So, after the person on the phone finished blowing us off about how it's 'not their problem' even if it could be a thermostat issue, the technician onsite just walked out the door and left the heater filter on the floor for us to figure out how to put it back in.

Real professionals, these ones. *Update*: Worth noting the continued unprofessionalism of the owner trying to make us sound like we're just throwing a tantrum over a difference of 1 degree, as if we're standing here like idiots wondering why the entire apartment won't cool off from 76 to 75 the second we change it. That's not the issue, and never was the issue, but he wouldn't know that because he hasn't bothered to read through the 2 times I've explained it to them or asked for more information.

Since we're going to make it personal about how demanding and unreasonable we are, I'll even remind you how we treated you and your employees respectfully and were completely fine and understanding about waiting to schedule our appointment after Nov 3rd because you were uncomfortable sending your people out on election day. Oh the faux change in tune where he suddenly wants to know the conditions of the issue to "recreate it", now that he's safe behind his computer, when he literally had us on the phone earlier with an opportunity to ask but couldn't be bothered.

Instead we got how it's not your problem if it's potentially an issue with the thermostat. Would you like to try to tell me how you *didn't* speak over my husband when he was on the phone with you? Or maybe you can tell us how we imagined the technician ignoring us when we asked him questions. Maybe he really did walk us through where he found the filter, showed us how to put it back in when he was done, and wished us a pleasant evening - we just made this all up for FUN! :) I welcome you to try to have that conversation again with us in person and this time I'll record it so that you can't rewrite the narrative to try to save face.

The AC turning itself on and off 4 times in a row before staying on at the 5th attempt isn't normal. The Heater not turning on all night when it's set to 75 and we wake up to 70 eight hours later is not normal. A literal thermometer not being able to tell the difference between 75 and 77 in a hallway is not normal. For all we know, the layout of this apartment simply isn't conducive to cooling it evenly.

If that's the case, fine, totally makes sense that one room may just always be a little warmer than the next if it was poor decisionmaking in the original construction. But this company isn't even capable of doing something as simple as checking the equipment to rule out broken/leaking parts (and I mean ALL of it, because remember: you didn't even look at the AC) so that we can have that discussion about what's realistically achievable with. Instead, I'm going to be sitting here tonight Googling about AC units so that I can do their job for them and make sure I can check the filter and eyeball for any outside damage/leaks.

Your record of consistently poor reviews is clear enough though that this burden isn't on us - it's on you to speak to clients like they're actual people. You took more effort to write this nonsense rebuttal than either you or your technician took to treat us like we weren't a wast of your time by default.

This company was recommend to my wife by a friend. We needed to fix our fridge ASAP. Tom managed to come the same day we called. He found a problem which was not very significant (we were in the verge of buying a new fridge) and offered to fix it for a very reasonable price. A very good and reliable company, highly recommend!

I was very impressed with the service at Prime Master. My AC wasn't working and I had to get a few opinions. All other AC companies told me that I need to replace the unit, but prime master offered another solution saving me lots of money. The technician Gary, was very professional and on time. I'm very happy with the results!

Great experience without getting screwed. I had problems with my refrigerator and these guys took my call and helped me out on a timely manner (next day). The customer service guys were polite and easy to work with and the technician that came out was clean and didn't mess up my whole house while trying to fix it. They fixed it within 2 days cause they needed to get a part and the technician explained all the steps to me which made me feel comfortable that they know what they are doing. Would recommend this company for your appliance repair needs!

No Stars deserved here! As a Property Management Co we need a vendor who is responsible in going out to jobs that we give them. We gave them a request for a dishwasher that was not draining & ten days later i call them to check the status and they have not even gone out.! Seriously, if they want business they need to do the work, they seem to be non-chalant about this, like if the job would be "too small" for them.

I wanted to use them for other appliances that we have break from time to time, but I will be removing them from our companies vendor list. I get it, if you are busy at least minimum call the office or the tenant to explain and schedule it a week out if needed. But just to call in and find out that my request was just sitting there is really a sign of a bad company. I will go back to the most recommended vendor here on Yelp! Dont do the same mistake that I did.

Warning DO NOT USE this company- my landlord scheduled them and they gave him a 4 hour window. I cleared my work calendar and called them that morning to confirm- I was told that it WASNT scheduled. However they told the landlord it was scheduled. So I understand mistakes happen. We rescheduled and instead of a four hour window - she gave me a 90 minute window.

I confirmed it with her. I even said are you sure as I have a meeting after. I was told 'It will be okay the appointment won't take that long'. I called today to confirm and was told that they never said that. I reminded her of our conversations and she just kept repeating she doesn't say that. I asked for a manager and was told he isn't in and he doesn't say when he comes in and that she is 26 and I am threatening her. Oh wow folks be scared be really scared of these liars working the system. I cancelled and went to Conejo Valley Heating- professional, friendly and ON time

I had a business relationship with them in the past, but decided to sever my business to them completely when they wanted to charge a $45,00 fee for a proposal on one of my investment properties. Max never told me when I made arrangements for the estimate of replaceing a whole new outdated central air/ heat system. The estimate was for $7,495 with no permits or duct work, but they would do it for $6,950.

Their proposal was THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS over the two other proposals for the EXACT same work. No Thanks Prime Masters, you have lost my business on this job and all future jobs on my rental properties. The work was done by your competetor for $2,200. cheaper and they did a fantastic job. Hope Prime Masters the best but I will NEVER use them again. Too many other competetors out their that will appreciate my business and not try to gouge me.

I read most of the reviews for this company here and on yelp, so I was skeptical about this company. I have 2 toddlers and our air conditioner went out right at the beginning of the hot season. I called my warranty company and this is who they use. I was nervous and ready to call a friend to just come fix it but the tech, Yuri, came out the same day and fixed it right away. My house was cooled down within an hour and my toddlers were happy. He was very polite, and professional and answered all my questions and explained everything he did.

I used Amazon Home Service to get my washer fixed. Job was done, alright. However, technician damaged closet door railing and damaged the wall as well. Prime Master Appliance continues to deny that they damaged my property. If you want your property damaged while getting your appliance fixed, please call Prime Master. They are THE MATER of that.

I was referred by my home warranty company, Old Republic. Received a call from Sean within 24 hours of my service order, who set up the appointment. Stan came out as scheduled. He was punctual, professional, and thorough. I explained the issues and he got right to it. Within an hour, Stan rewired my heater unit, reconnected the damaged plug and sealed the gaps around the bottom of the closet wall. He ran the heater for a while before he left and checked each vent to make sure no fumes were seeping out. I highly recommend.

So far so good. Prime Master Appliance was assigned to us by Old Republic Home Warrenty to repair our AC unit. I spoke with Sean to confirm the time. I let him know our house was up to 86° last night and that we had a feverish newborn in the house and he said the repair tech would be at our house between 3-7pm today, maybe sooner. I'm a little nervous reading some of these negative reviews but hoping the management department has made changes because I see current positive customer experiences and reviews.

Will update and add more to this review after the service call has been completed. Fingers crossed for a less stressful night with a cooler baby. UPDATE: The visit with the technician, Alex, was honestly perfect. He gave frequent updates before arriving and came across as totally friendly and knowledgeable. Approached the problem with ingenuity and persistence. Fixed our AC (which wasn't easy or straightforward) and carefully checked his work afterward.

I should add this was like the 8th giant machine he'd fixed that day so his dedication is really admirable. We will definitely be using Prime Master again for future repair needs!

I should have done my research before I allowed this company in my home. If you or your home warranty needs work completed I highly recommend finding someone else. Although verbally you get told one thing, something different is placed on your work order or conveniently not in writing. In my case, they wouldn't even do the work for the amount that was in writing when I called to schedule the work.

Although I can not speak to the workmanship of this company, I can speak to their lack of integrity and based on that I highly recommend you continue your search for a company.

Our dishwasher wasn't working so Prime Master came to look at it - they advised the soap dispenser was opening and that they had to order the part. 8 weeks later, with no dishwasher, the part came and replaced the part. It still doesn't work - and it stops working exactly as it did before. We called and advised them that it STILL didn't work and complained enough that they were coming on Saturday.

We sat here waiting for THREE hours in the middle of a Saturday and no one showed up. No one is answering the phone, probably because they got to go out and enjoy their day. Also my husband googled the issue originally and saw boards online advising what the issue was and told them but instead of looking into that being the issue they made us wait 8 weeks for a part that was probably not the problem.

Good service! Last week I got my refrigerator broken and a friend of mine recommended me Prime Master as a company with low service prices and discounts. I called them late afternoon at around 5p.m. and I was scheduled for the morning of the next day. The next day a technician came at the exact time I was scheduled for. I was surprised to have my refrigerator fixed after a very short time and also I got a first time customer discount 10% off. I would highly recommend the company's service.
