My initial phone call with Rachael was great. She was super nice and set up my appointment for the same day. I explained over the phone that I had a coil leak and need some r22 put into the unit. I have a replacement unit scheduled to be installed. The company I have installing it was to busy to come out for a few days so I called Advanced air. Nichols the tech called me after he arrived and told me he wanted to put 12lbs of r22 in at $140 per pound.
I told that would be a waste as it would slowly leak out and I was having it replaced. My tenants knew it was being replaced and just needed it to cool for another week. I asked him to put enough in so as it would cool but not be full. He puts 4lbs in and that's all. He also tells my tenants that I am poisoning them by having r22 added knowing there is a leak.
Thank god they are long time tenants and know me better than that. He also goes on to tell them Iam to cheap to have the repairs done. Their estimate to replace the coil was about $3,000.00. I have a whole new system going in for about $900 more than that. So yes I was not going to be taken advantage of. It felt like doing business with BRUNO AIR.Being pushed into repairs I didn't want and then to have the tech try to anger my tenants at me. Such a poor experience. So I have paid $599 to be left exactly where I started and have my tenets being told Iam cheap and trying to poison them. Thanks Advanced Air!

BEWARE! They ask for a credit card upfront (!) I would give them zero stars but that is not possible. After booking an appointment with Advanced Air ( due to TWO promo coupons I received in the mail) and after receiving a VM that confirmed the appointment, I waited for the tech and then finally called to see if they were coming. I was told that although they called and confirmed the appointment with me via my cell phone VM, the appointment was cancelled due to not having a credit card on file.
They said that they would happily reschedule but in order to do so they needed a credit card. Who asks for a credit card before the service is provided? In today's society where there is so much identity fraud and unscrupulous people, who would give you a credit card over the phone without any service being provided? And if this is because you as a company have had bad experiences then you need to look at a different clientele or business practice. NO WHERE ON THEIR PROMOTIONS DOES IT SAY THAT YOU NEED TO PROVIDE A CREDIT CARD BEFORE A TECH CAN COME FOR SERVICE.

Don't join the Cool Club membership. What a waste! We signed up when we called Advanced Air out to do a repair. In less than four months, we had the EXACT SAME issue and called to have someone come out. Despite repeatedly telling customer service and the technician that we were Cool Club members, they honored none of the benefits. They said that the person who performed the first service and sold us the membership was "no longer an employee." So what?
You either stand behind your work or you don't. Though they admitted they had a systems "glitch" in processing and following up with our membership, they refused to honor costs and benefits we would have had from the Cool Club membership. Save your money and go with someone who stands behind their work and their commitments.

I cant imagine someone giving this company a 5 star. First I was told I could use a coupon for diagnostic then at the time of completion in hey said no. Tech was asking for money for EVERYTHING i ask him. Told him to check the part in question and he said "well I would have to take it out and its gonna cost you". I ask him if we could somehow put the missing screw back and he said no.
He also said my part cost thousands of dollars and there was no guarantee once he replaced it. I paid these idiots and ask them to leave. Honest air came in and for $100 bucks fixed my system in matter of minutes. I will continue to use Honest Air for now on and tell everyone about them. DO NOT USE THIS PEOPLE, THEY ARE SOOOO DISHONEST!

My sister in law has a service contract and called before 8:00 AM this morning to say the AC was not working. She has spent thousands of dollars with this company installing new units over 20 years. We have been waiting for the technician for hours. We were told between 2-4 PM. It is now 6:45 PM and 86 degrees in the house. It is 93 degrees outside as of 6:30 PM.
We just called AGAIN and they said they might send another technician. This is lousy service. Don't give them the business because they clearly don't care about their clients. They are over promising and they under deliver. So I left messages, and have asked the owner to call us. No call. A miracle happened around 7:30 and Casey arrived.
He immediately saw it was the overflow (simple fix) and had to unclog the drain line. He was exhausted and really sweating like crazy. He told me he was working 16 hour days and felt ill from the heat. We gave him water and ice and were super grateful for him showing up. So today the owners wife called to complain about our review on Yelp. Really, what did she expect?
Maybe the "owners" should have been working to help their overworked staff. My AC company in Miami, the owner answers the phone after hours and he has 48 trucks. They provide service. I understand that times are tough but don't make promises you can't keep and don't offer a service you can't provide.

Not impressed at all. The misdiagnosed my A/C and then gave me a price to replace the A/C that was the most expensive quote I received from any A/C Company but told me they were taking the cost of my repairs off the replacement. I feel like I was taken advantage of. Would never use their services again. They lost my trust. Good luck.

Advanced Air has maintained the A/C in my home and rental property for several years. Their technicians are always courteous and knowledgeable and on time. They have a prepaid maintenance program called Cool Club that bills your credit card a small amount each month so your twice yearly service appointments are already covered when they show up: Brilliant!
I just installed a new system with another company; so, I won't see them for a year while I'm under the other company's warranty; but, I will no doubt go back to Advanced Air after that.

Buy far the WORST customer service on the planet. Paid 14,000 for a new system. Was supposed to have a three year extended service contract. The sales representative said it wasn't on the paperwork. My bad I trusted them. Not ever again. Will call someone else for regular preventive maintenance. Sales representative called was rude and short hung up abruptly.

Two years ago, we purchased a new Trane a/c thru Advanced Air (which our caretaker recommended) because we knew when buying our condo that the a/c installed was quite old. Wishing to avoid any issues, we put in an expensive Trane, which we now find has more negative reviews than positive! Two weeks ago, the a/c wasn't working, so we called Advanced Air.
We were pleased to have someone come on a Sunday no less to check it out. However, things 'went south' quickly! We were told the motor and the module were both shot.really, in two years? Oh yes, parts were covered under the warranted time frame, BUT, to install them would be $436. What? And, we were told they would return the next day to repair it.
Four days later, during the week from hell as far as temperature and humidity, they came to install the new parts.after they initially thought the wrong part was the one sent. Some time later, the serviceman found that the part he did have was probably going to work.his comment was 'what's the worst thing that can happen? It just won't work!' We were also shocked to see that in the paperwork (on the serviceman's computer) that we were told to sign that Sunday specifically says "I acknowledge that the above listed work has been completed to my satisfaction and agree to the terms of payment." Why were we told to sign that statement when we didn't even have a functioning a/c?
A lawyer friend says that is highly suspicious! For now, the a/c is again working, but we do know that Advanced Air will NOT be our service/repairs company again. In our community down here, word spreads quickly as to who does good work and not, so we won't be hesitant about our feelings. Also interesting was the fact that the service call (which we do not have any problems with) and the subsequent repairs were all billed to our credit card on that Sunday, so for those next four days, they had our money but we had no a/c! Again, seems unethical.

Even after paying this company $5300. They want more money to repair the thermostat that broke after 6 weeks that they replaced. They warranted this part for 12 years but now won't back up their products. They make excuses about not getting paid the last $4 on the bill as a way to get out of fixing what they need to, when they made the error on the paperwork. (I think they do this on purpose). Is this a company you want to spend so much money on. Fixing something you need to work.
Unless you want to end up with problems after they RIP you off choose someone other. Bill and Jeffrey will just steal from you, waste your time. Then complain about you wasting their time. Bill "the owner" told me I have wasted 4 hours of his time. I tried to tell him how his salesman Jeffrey wasted so much of my time lying to me. He didn't want to hear about his bad employee.

TERRIBLE EXPENSIVE COMPANY! They have been here 3 times in the past month and a half, charged me to insulate a line each time yet the leak is still there. They say I have another line that needs insulation. How many lines does one air-conditioning unit have? They also say I hired them to fix over my garage not where the OBVIOUS Hugh stains are in my ceiling. I did not hire them to look over my garage, I HIRED THEM TO FIX THE LEAK! Leak is still there, and advanced air is almost $1000.00 richer.

Update of review: we had joined service plan ($198/Year, includes cleaning/inspection service every 6 months) and had limped along our Old York system here near the beach till now. Rob (sales rep) reviewed his 3 month old quotes and opted for an equipment change due to size restrictions in my house. I consider his thoughtful review a HUGE plus (hate for guys to show up w equipment that won't fit)! Quoted pricing ranged from $7400 to$10,000 for the multi ultra deluxe model.
We opted for the more basic Trane at the lower price for our 1,124 sq Ft home. Carlos P and Donovan D called and came an hour Early! On the beach! Unheard of, delighted, they got to work, laid out plastic to keep from dirtying carpet and removed/replaced the air handler inside and compressor outside. Bravo, happy cool satisfied. (Previous review) Technician Jerry rocks. Great seevice-they are very experienced and professional. And they service the beach.!

Great experience. Just after Hurricane Irma tore through my town and a day after my power was restored, my AC died. So I called Advanced Air and was surprised at how quickly they could send a service technician. Kevin arrived at 8am and was very thorough, polite and courteous. He fixed the problem and also objectively commented about my system. Problem resolved. Great job- thank you!

Sent an email though Yelp to two A.C. repair companies. Ours died last night. Advanced called me within the hour and scheduled a service call for the same day. SUNDAY before Memorial Day. Patrick called to confirm he was 15 minutes out. Polite and friendly. Checked out the unit and found the issue. Not fatal but not simple. Went right to work. Got it working in minutes but took his time to clean it all out and make sure it was good for a while. Was not pushy about other services but did have paperwork for a PM service. Would highly recommend and if you use give them my name. We will tell neighbors about Advanced. Yelp works!

It is hard to find a company that consistently does what they say. Advanced Air is one of a rare breed. Since choosing them for our maintenance we have been trouble free. Last week our air conditioner blew its final breath. The service team arrived within the hour to get it restarted, found the problem and offered options. Given the age of our old one, we opted to look at a new one.
Within an hour the comfort specialist was in our house, offered a competitive bid (I had previously researched the cost), and ordered in the install team. 4 hours after their arrival the job was done, all debris removed and a cool breeze from the new machine returned comfort to our home. Our new AC has a 12 year parts and labor warranty. If the old one had that we wouldn't have needed to replace one now. The cheap unit the builder put into our house cannot compare to the new Daikin unit. Great experience.

Advanced Air was fantastic. My AC went out Thursday night late and I had to work the entire day following until past 8pm. Tabatha answered my original call at 5am early Friday morning and remained on duty throughout the following day. She was excellent; patient and informative. I was stuck at work until late the day following and Tabatha helped me coordinate a late visit by the tech - after 8:00pm on a Friday night!
The tech, Anthony, arrived at 8pm. I was late from work arriving about 8:15pm. Anthony knew I was in route and patiently waited for my arrival. He was superb. Very knowledgeable and thorough. Anthony was informative, sincerely attempting to solve the problem without making big dollar recommendations. I was impressed with his high level of integrity and attention to detail.
In the end, Anthony fixed the AC with minimal costs and made great recommendations for preventative maintenance. We now are setting up a preventative maintenance schedule per his recommendation. I highly recommend this company for residential work.
