Rock Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning

Just paid Rock $10,711 to install a new Bryant AC unit (one of three for our home). Original unit was only 5 years old but of course they insisted if we didn't "upgrade" the unit the compressor would continue to fail every five years. Needless to say, after an all day install and almost $11,000 later it's not working. Temperature has not budged since the technicians left 4 hours ago. Called after hours service. Josh (sales/tech who sold us the unit) said that was "normal" and if I wanted him to come to the house it would be after 9:30pm. Par for the course with Rock.

They quoted another non related repair at our home last year for $6,000 - didn't use them and ultimately got it done for $2,000. Had them look at our instant hot/cold system at the main kitchen sink last year. We were told it was broken (beyond repair) and needed to be replaced. Quote was over $1,000. Turns out the GFI switch had been tripped - total cost to "repair" by myself $0. Save your sanity and your money - avoid this company at all costs.

Intentionally bad work? I used rock for an annual spring service on my ac. I even became a member of their club. I have a higher end filter that uses reusable/cleanable filters (trane cleaneffects). Hiring a professional company that talks about trust should know how to service it. The first photo is what is should look like the second one is what one of their techs did. If I had not looked I would have had essentially no filter all summer. It's so bad it must have been intentionally bad work, right?

Really pleased! Everyone is slammed over the summer, but they came through. They offer a smooth means to apply for a loan with 12months of no interest. The summer heat wave introduced nineties and hundred F days as a regular. Our 26 year old unit decided to be done. Getting in contact with an A/C service to speak to a real person AND with availability was challenging.

Most places had at least a one week lead time, some two weeks. The Rock Plumbing and Heating was able to get us scheduled two days after the initial call. Tyler, our technician, assessed one day and stayed late the next day to install the new unit. After eighty to ninety F in our living room, we are sooo happy to have our home back!

Aaron was sent here today and he quickly determined the issue with our AC unit, laid out the options we had for the issue and then got everything done in the same day. He was friendly and professional the whole time and open and honest about the issues found and what each fix option entailed. No one want their AC to fail, but its nice knowing you have a great service guy like Aaron when it does, keep up the great work!

The guys at Rock Heating and air did a great job. John, Chris, Blake, Devon, Zack, and Thomas did a great job installing our A/C and whole house humidifier. Dominic was fantastic today. He explained things very well. I was super comfortable with his treatment of our home's plumbing system. I have the plumbing maintenance subscription and it was time for an inspection. He found a few things and was gracious to take care of a few others.

The work was quickly and very professionally done. Aaron gave a clear explanation of the problem with the old boiler, and gave me the options to repair or replace. Tyler, Jordan, Bill and Chris came out the very next day and did a professional job of installing the new unit. They also moved the water heater to a better location. while they were at it.

They were amazing to watch, and they all take pride in their work. Ruthie in the office was also very helpful. The company does good followup--as far as I can see, they do everything right. Forgot to mention that Zack was also part of this great team!

This was my first time using Rock Plumbing. Had an exterior faucet replacement, small project in nature, but the tech Tyler was prompt, skilled in his craft, knowledgable and a pleasure to work with. The company as a whole were great communicators leading up to our scheduled apt and follow up to make sure we were happy. I signed up for their annual loyalty program for $10 p/month, the benefits and service i encountered give me the utmost confidence this is a company i will be using going forward and refer to others. The biggest RIP OFF company I have ever dealt with! I had a burst hose bib in my basement interior/exterior wall of house. My Realtor referred me to Rock. The hose burst a year ago, and my licensed contractor who was finishing my basement, fixed it in an hour/hour 1/2, and he charged me $250. So I knew the approximate cost. Dominic from Rock was here for 10 minutes and said it would be $730 for a Copper Pipe, and $500 to access area!

I told him that was ridiculous, my licensed contractor fixed it for $250, and I could go get a saw out of my garage, and cut his access in 10 minutes! So, I paid Rocks $59 "service fee" that you pay them to come out and spend 10 minutes giving you an ABSURD QUOTE! I sent Dominic away, and will use my Social Media Voice on all my local Facebook Groups, to STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!

And to make matters worse, I get emailed a receipt from them for $714 for a "copper pipe fix" they didn't do! So they have some dim-wit girl sending receipts for $714 for work not done, and not a receipt for the $59 I threw away on them. Oh, and an honest Plummer came out. It wasn't even a broken pipe, but pressure just blew the pipe off the connector.

He charged me $80. He said if he needed to fix the broken pipe, it would have been $160-$220, including installing a new access panel he brought with him! And this honest Plummer now has a lifelong customer, and with me purchasing a new home soon, I will have a lot of work for him! Rock Heating and Air, you try and rip people off, and it will eventually catch up with you. Karma! You people have NO MORAL COMPASS! UNCONSCIONABLE!

Excellent customer service, communication and overall great group! There was a glitch that occurred during installation that was addressed professionally and to our satisfaction. Andrew, Jordan and Blake were very helpful and efficient. Very happy with our furnace install!

Our furnace blower fan went on last week. Tyler came to the house, sourced a new fan and didn't charge for the service call. Because of the age of the furnace, we decided to replace it. Jordan D. and Zach showed up the next morning and were professional and efficient in replacing the furnace. Could not be more pleased with the level of service. Jordan even dropped off a new filter the next day as he didn't have right size when he put in the new furnace. Pricing was fair and honest. Highly recommend these guys.

We had a backed up tub and toilet.and the wax seal on the toilet had worn out, causing water to drip Into our basement. Rock Plumbing was very responsive, and professional on the phone. The technician was very capable and professional.he did a great job. I think that the work and the people were 5 stars, but downgraded this to a 4 star review, because I am fairly sure that their price was on the high side. If it weren't for the urgency of the leak (and not having time to shop around) I think that we could have gotten this done for a bit less.

Just wanted people to know that I have been a client of Rock for 10+ years. As of now I will no longer use or recommend Rock. I am a club member for which I pay $60 each month. Additionally, I had 2 new furnaces and air conditioners installed last August. The inspector was here 3 times before it passed inspection. I have Rock come out in the spring and fall to check my system.

Everything checked out this spring according to the technician but when I turned on my AC, which is less than a year old, yesterday it doesn’t work, just blows hot air. After 3 phone calls which weren’t returned for all my patronage Rock will arrive in 3 days to take a look at the 9 month old system to see why it doesn’t work. To bad Chris Schronrock didn’t appreciate my business when he had it. I will never use Rock nor recommend them to anyone I know. I suggest you look for a more reputable HVAC company.

The only reason I gave 1 star is because I couldn't give zero stars. Company gave zero quotes over the phone and said technician would discuss with me. The cost for my garbage disposal was around $100 at stores. I was told on arrival the cost would be over $200 if they provide. Then I was charged over $400 for 1 hour of labor. Then lastly when I was paying the technician dropped the service call charge on me that was never disclosed.

Grand total $712 for 1 hour of work! $612 an hour and done with a straight face! Handyman would have cost $100 for work and saved $500. Call Rock Plumbing if you want to get screwed.

Very Satisfied !! The office managers are really good a keeping up with your appointments, even when I messed up the dates--sorry. Very professional Service Technicians. Our last service technicians, Tyler King, was extremely professional and explained everything we needed to do for the heater (testing and reporting). I'm trying to remember the last service technician (Eric), that service our AC unit in the summer, gave us a thorough testing and explained the report.

Originally we had a brand new heater installed about 6 years ago and they did a really great job. I completely recommend them for any HVAC issues, including their maintenance services- you should invest in this for the health of your units.

We were very impressed with Rock's service! From the initial call to set up service, to the email & text updates and reminders, to the service itself we were very pleased. Our technician, Zach, was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. He solved our problem and actually saved us lots of money in the long run. We will absolutely use Rock Heating and Air Conditioning for all our future needs.

Zach was efficient and professional while completing an air purifier installation. He answered all my questions and gave me tips on how to make the most of our HVAC/furnace system. I always use Rock!

I called Rock Heating this morning and they sent Zach out this afternoon. He is a very knowledgeable technician who is also very personable. He got our air conditioner fixed and we are ready for the heat later this week. Rock Heating and Air Conditioning is reasonable. Very happy with Rock and would recommend this company.

Daniel came out an serviced our air conditioning. He was very professional and honest with what was wrong and what needed to be done. He was very descriptive on how and why the parts work and showed us all of the things that he discovered. I would highly recommend Rock Heating and Air.
