George and any person that I've ever worked with at comfort control is absolutely amazing. They installed our whole new HVAC system seven years ago and everything works amazing. I have continue to use them for my maintenance and everyone that comes to my house is always professional and does good work. I contract with Comfort Control for twice a year maintenance on my AC/Heating Central System. There pricing is very fair and competitive. Greg, the service technician is knowledgeable, professional and provides excellent service. He will always provide me with an update and the current status of my unit. The main office is very easy to work with. Gerson the Service Manager returns my calls in a timely manner if I have further questions. I have recommended them to neighbors and friends.

Comfort Control failed to diagnose the problem with our residential HVAC system. They insisted that the system was fine despite all my protests. They suggested I might need new thermostats and gave a $600 estimate. I Googled and YouTube'd the problem on my own. It was simple to rule out the thermostats and pinpoint the problem to the zone control board.
I bought and installed a new board ($150) and everything is fine now. I have a strong suspicion that they were taking advantage of a senior citizen. I didn't appreciate their condescending attitude.

I had an appointment for afternoon time slot.the day before the appointment they call and say because another customer cancelled their am appointment they would have to cancel my appointment. So inconvenient and inconsiderate.what a crazy business model not keeping appointments. Don't use this company

They replaced it today and they were respectful of our home and our time. Gerson and his crew were very good. George, the president of Comfort Control, has been terrific. Finding people who want to provide good service and good value for the substantial sums these things cost is not easy. Glad we have CC!

Honest company! It is an ideal to find HVAC contractor at the internet, just rely on their customer reviews and rates, that's how we found Comfort Control Corp., for all t hose reviews that I have found in different websites I haven't seen any reviews complaining to their work and services. Rumors are true they are honestly awesome, they did a fantastic repair with our heater. They also gave many tips to take good care of it and maintenance ideas for a long life span. Highly recommended!

I had to have major work done to my A/C, my A/C would be down for 2 days in over 100 degree weather, I was frightened for me and for workers. Well, the day came and the wonderful workers completed the work that day and were gone by 3:00 p.m. They were knowledgeable, courteous, efficient, and every good thing I could say. My hats off to them working in my attic. They were the best, I will always have Comfort Control for my A/C needs. As I write this I am sitting in my beautiful cool home. THANK YOU Comfort Control

The most unreliable company you could ever hope to work with. Backstory: We have been customers for 14+years. We've been faithful. When we moved homes we moved them with us. We installed a new heating unit and spent over $10,000 with them. They messed that up as well because we use propane and not gas. They had not informed their service side about that, so it took longer to install by a week.
We have had a yearly service agreement with them and they come in and supposedly change filters and make sure the unit is good. After 14+ years of service I called to get an explanation on the crazy dust, non existent filter for my new house. They were not helpful and condescending. I'm not sure what happened to the management of this company but they aren't at all what they used to be. I'm thrilled to be done with them.
I really mean that too. There are amazing companies out there that appreciate loyal customers. This is not one of them. Stay away from this awful company unless you want to be talked down to and laughed at. You'd be just a number to them.

Words can't describe how much we loved working with this company. My husband and I just moved here from out of state and we just bought a house and we knew we needed a new A/C system. With my husband working a lot it was on me to find a company we could trust to take care of us, so they were about the third company that came out to give me an estimate and I could just tell from the very start when Craig entered our door he made me feel so comfortable and really took the time to explain everything in a language I could understand, he was so helpful and understanding and just an amazing person.
He even would answer my husbands millions of questions after hours. Now we have a great working system and we couldn't be more happier. Thank you so much for the extra time you spent with us.

I've used CC for almost 20 yrs now with their maintenance agreement and have always received excellent service to date with never a problem until today. Last week I received a letter from them stating if I signed up for auto renewal I'd get a 5% discount each year though they did go up on their rates a bit. I called their billing dept and spoke to a Jeramy who didn't seem too knowledgeable right from the beginning though I did agree to pay by credit card and he confirmed he would send me a confirmation via email for this auto renewal.
I didn't receive any email confirmation back so I called today and spoke to him again and he said this service is for paperless and they don't send out email confirmations. I explained he should have told me that last week instead of confirming he would. I also talked to a supervisor named Chris who also confirmed this service was paperless and they could not send me any confirmation.
I understand paperless, but an email is not paperless and someone should know the difference and educate their employees. I'm only stating this issue because CC's billing dept got me going with their incompetence I felt. If I would have handled my business like this during my business courier I'd have been fired. I do like CC's service for maintenance, but their billing dept stinks. Roger Decker

I've been using COMFORT CONTROL for 20 years. I have the service agreement. They are a superior company for prompt service and totally honest, professional service people. Polite and informed. I also had a cooling system replaced about ten years ago and I've never experienced any problems. Great company! Each service person is excellent. FILMON is great! Studio City

I have used Comfort Control for 23 years. They installed my units(2) when I built my home and I have NEVER had any issues. I have a service contract with them and twice a year Greg comes out for servicing. He is wonderful, meticulous, and lets me know if anything is needed. I have referred Comfort Control to several of my friends and, they too, have been more than satisfied with their installations and with Greg.
I would have zero problems using or referring this company. They listen, they are concerned with any issues, and they are fairly priced for service and installations. It would be a big mistake not using them for all your air conditioning needs.

About 3 years ago, when my old Payne gravity furnace (circa 1927) wouldn't stay on, I called the Payne company. They tried twice unsuccessfully - their repair men weren't familiar with the old furnaces. My insurance company said I should replace the furnace, but gravity furnaces are no longer made. I'd have to get a forced air unit.
I am so glad I found Comfort Control. Russ and Gregg made several visits, worked on it many hours, diagnosing, testing, rewiring, cleaning and replacing parts, adding more safety controls and a modern limit switch. Then Russ wrote a letter which I sent to the insurance company, explaining that there were still many gravity furnaces in Los Angeles county, describing what repairs were done and why he now considered the furnace safe.
Happy ending - I got the insurance, the furnace still works well, and I have the even and non-blowing gravity furnace heat I prefer. Comfort Control is professional, experienced, creative and tenacious - they follow through until they get a solution. They are the best!

I'm a project manager and chose Comfort Control for tough retrofit project in Beverly Hills. They provided solutions that no one else provided. In fact the other HVAC contractors just walked away, saying they wouldn't touch the systems and didn't know how it passed inspection. But when the rep came, they offered a non-invasive solution my client could live with, as well as provide sound mechanical engineering so that I could be assured this solution wasn't guess work.
They turned a challenging problem into an HVAC that works great now. UPDATE: 6 months later Roy from Comfort Control came to service the HVAC package units and take care of a small warranty issue. He's smart, knowledgeable, thorough, efficient, considerate of the owners and considerate of their property and NICE! I couldn't ask for a better technician.
This means a lot to me. This is a big deal. I don't hire or recommend just any contractors. They are few and far between, because when I hire contractors for my clients, they represent me. Also, my client wanted me to make sure I went on Yelp and gave this company and Roy a good review. This was a big deal to her. So here it is, for Comfort Control and my client, my first Yelp review.
