Artic Air, Inc. is a fourth generation air conditioning and heating contractor serving the needs of Northeast Florida since 1959. As a family owned company, you can count on us to care about your home or business like it's our very own. Michael E. Curtis has grown up in Northeast Florida. He and his wife, Suzanne, have raised five children here.
Just like changing the oil in your car, we recommend having your system maintained and serviced by Artic Air, Inc. Properly maintained HVAC systems run at peak performance using less energy, which means giving less of your hard earned paycheck to the electric company each month. If your furnace is misfiring, carbon monoxide can easily get into your home. Clean or replace filters supplied by homeowner (or we can typically provide one for purchase).
For decades, split-zoning air-conditioning and heat pump systems have been the quiet solution for cooling and heating problems around the world. Our quiet and powerful systems have three main components: an indoor unit, outdoor unit, and remote controller. Installation is as simple as mounting the indoor and outdoor units, connecting the refrigerant lines, and making a few electrical connections.

Our A/C went out at the most brutal heat wave, it was 97 degrees and I realized at 10 minutes after 5 pm. I called around and Artic Air was the only one who called me back. Even though they don't have after hours emergency repair, they gave me some suggestions to try to get it running again. (unfortunately it didn't work), took my information and called me again the very next morning to let me know that a technician was in my area and would be here soon. My A/C unit is kinda old, and I expected to get the hard sell to have it replaced, but the problem was found and repaired and I have a cool house again!
