7Oil was contacted to remove an underground storage tank from my cousin's house. In the process they broke the water line because they failed to hand dig even though they were told the line was likely in the area and the mark out was not yet done. The contract also stated to saw cut existing concrete or asphalt which wasn't done. They have refused to make any sort of agreement to remedy their mistakes. Very poor way to run a business. Do not use.

I can't thank 7 oil enough. These guys went above and beyond in one of the most stressful weeks of my life. I replaced my hot water heater 3 weeks ago, then my AC decided to go on one of the hottest days just 4 days before I had people flying in for my wedding. I got a consultation from Horizon and they quoted me $6700 for 2 parts and couldn't guarantee that the problem would be fixed, and that wasn't even the price for suggesting a whole new unit.
I wanted a second opinion and called 7 Oil. Dave came out ON MEMORIAL DAY to diagnose my unit, and said he didn't agree with Horizon and wanted to start smaller to see if the problem could be solved (he also said his price for the same solution if he did it was ~1/3 the price). He had my best interest in mind and I couldn't be more appreciative since I had just dropped so much money weeks prior and my wedding was in a couple days.
He ordered a couple parts, and was back out the next day. He worked in the scorching heat, but didn't leave until he knew my unit was fixed. He even texted me personally the next day to check in and make sure everything was still running properly. Again, I couldn't recommend these guys more. Great company from the top down, and they truly care about the customer and not just ripping people off for as much as they can. I will never use another company again as long as I live in the area.

I have been calling oil companies all day, as I need oil on an emergency basis. I left a message online for 7oil in hopes that I could get some oil delivered and pay for it in a week. Prices are so high. I have a son whose body has to be heat regulated or he can have seizures. I explained in detail what I was looking for so I was suprised when 7oil called me and left a voice-mail asking me to call back if I still need oil.
When I called, the person who answered was different from the person who called me originally so she didn't know what the situation was. I asked the same question I asked online and she was really rude and just said no, cutting me off. I don't understand why they didn't just leave me a VM saying they can't bill or only accept cash on demand or even call back at all. It is embarrassing and humbling being in this situation and a little grace or kindness can go a long way, even if the answer is still no.

I thank God for Carl the tech that came out today. Before the guy cleaned my heater and I kept smelling oil. It was because it was leaking out by my heater. I have used their services twice this year - once for oil delivery and the other for an AC inspection and tune-up. Their staff is courteous and prompt and willing to discuss delivery and service options. Their tech Matt C. was very friendly and thoroughly explained the issues he found as well as documenting them with photos for my file. I would highly recommend this company.

I've been getting oil from 7 Oil for a couple years. They're always prompt, reasonably priced and friendly to work with. Our heater recently needed repair and their repair guy Matt Cummings and the gentleman with him were awesome. They got the issue fixed quickly and for a great price, and were very friendly. If you're looking for an oil company go with 7 Oil!

I had a problem with my oil heater not turning on. I called 7 Oil and Matt Cummings the Field service technician was out within the hour. He was very pleasant from the minute he entered my home. He Diagnosed the situation , cleaned up the area and gave me insight on how to prevent the problem in the future. There are many companies to choose from in NJ. I’m glad I chose 7 OIL!

These guys are absolutely professional. They show up on time. Never rushed the job and explain everything that they are doing and why they are doing. I am a rehabber in south jersey and for me, the quality of work, reliability, and pricing are the key factors in deciding who I work with. These are my go-to guys. Period. I have used 7-Oil numerous times, I cannot imagine why anyone would use any other oil company. I loved that they were prepared with a mask, especially in times like these. They are always extremely friendly from the phone call through the delivery process. The staff are very knowledgeable and are always quick to help with any questions I have had.
The prices are very competitive and fair. They also allow you to set up for auto delivery. Anytime I have ordered oil in the past they have always been quick and timely. 7 Oil has always been very accommodating. I spoke with Mike on several occasions and he never fails to be as helpful as possible. Great Job!

After years of not being able to use our family room addition during the heat of the summer and the cold of the winter, my husband and I decided to purchase an ac/heat pump from 7 oil. My only regret is not doing this sooner! As soon as I contacted 7oil they sent a representative out to assess the room and help us decide on which unit would best serve our needs.
We placed our order on a Friday and the following Monday they installed our unit. The 2 men who installed our unit were very professional and took extra care to keep the work area clean. By the end of the day our room was comfortably cool and I’m sure it will be comfortably warm when we need it! It was a pleasure to work with such a professional company and I would absolutely recommend them.

Our new boiler was installed by Mike and Jason. They were very nice and informative. We learned a lot about our new system and they were very patient in making sure all our questions were answered. We called for a follow up service to get air out of the system and Matt Cummings came out. Also very pleasant and informative! He fixed the issue and made sure we were satisfied with his work. Overall a very good experience!

I had a horrific experience with the initial technician who came out to clean my furnace. He made me turn off my washing machine! He was intent to find some way of turning a cleaning into a problem, and he did! In the 35 years I've had my furnace, I have NEVER, NEVER had to make a service call, only cleanings. He seemed like a "used car salesman" trying to get me to buy a new gas system or pad the bill.
After 4 - 5 hours, he told me I had a $700. problem, and this and that had to be replaced. After speaking with his Supervisor, Mike, he spoke with the technician who supposedly rectified the problem. I was skeptical he had fixed what he broke, and sure enough less than two weeks later, I awoke to a dead furnace and my house at 54 degrees. I called Mike again, who was very apologetic and scheduled another technician--Scott.
I cannot say enough about Scott. He took the time to explain what he was doing to correct the problem and answer any questions that I presented. It is rare to find a technician like Scott. It is apparent he loves his job with the emphasis he places on customer service. Thank you Mike and Scott! I would have given 5 stars to 7-Oil had the first technician never showed up at my home.

My husband and I just moved to South Jersey this month. We inherited an oil contract with 7 Oil via the previous owner. We tried running our heating last week, but nothing was working. I called 7 Oil, introduced myself as a new customer, and asked for assistance with the oil tank. I clarified that we had never used an oil tank before. I talked with Pat, who was very nice and informative (which is why the review isn't 1 star).
We scheduled a service provider to come out and I was assured it would be free of cost, because they had come out to service and fill the tank just a few weeks ago before we moved in. My husband was home and informed me that the service provider showed him a switch on the tank, turned it on, and then charged us $109. I called asking for a refund, of course, because $109 to flip a switch is absurd.
We could have done this ourselves had we known, which is why I made it clear over the phone that this was our first ever oil tank and asked for advice. I spoke with multiple reps, all of whom were firm on their stance that it was non-refundable due to the service fee charge for sending a tech out. While I understand this is their business model, we are first time customers and the tech only flipped a switch.
I cancelled the previous owner's contract immediately, as we would like to find an oil company nearby who is more accommodating of first-time customers/tank users and charges fees reasonably.

Used them for years. checked my bill, and found the price I was paying was significantly higher than ALL local competitors. They also pre charge all service fees and fuel purchases even if you have been a customer for 15 years. they have a way of making the customer feel like a liability and potential threat. I like that they have service and delivery, but not enough to pay their rate and prepay ALL charges.

Technicians don't know how to do their job! This will be the THIRD time I am having them back to my house to fix a leak from an oil canister they installed. Hopefully it's actually fixed this time if not I'll have to pay to have another company come out and fix a problem that 7 oils technicians have caused.

With oil prices so hi I called today about getting oil and wanted to use a credit card. I was told there would be an extra $3.50 charge to process my card so I asked if I would get a discount on my oil and was told no. what a rip off so I called someone else and it was a little cheaper and no extra charge. TELLING PEOPLE I KNOW TO CALL AROUND NOW AND BEWARE OF THEIR EXTRA CHARGE

We have used 7 Oil for oil delivery to our home for the last 10 years. We've tried others, including the guaranteed cap price plans, but it always ended up that we were always paying the cap price and never less. With 7 Oil you can set up auto delivery and also do a year long payment plan after a year where they estimate your usage and bill you monthly so it's not so expensive as a fill price all at once. We've come close to running out of oil quite a few times and when you order oil they always ask if you need a restart. I don't think they even charge for it. Great customer service, late hours, and tiered pricing based on how much oil you buy at one time. Definitely recommend.

Horrible company. Called a lier by the office manager because I did not use as much oil as she thought I should have. Called for service twice and had to wait 1-2 days for service. I only have 2 kids sitting there freezing thats OK. It was only sub zero out. Only plus they have an AMAZING service tech. He was very helpful and nice. Maybe they should let him deal with the public. Would get alot more customers.

7 oil has the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life. After setting up a service call a week in advance for the day i was off of work, a guy shows up takes a look and said that he didn't have time to do anything because his company "over-books" people. When i called for an explanation i was treated like it was my fault and told "its my responsibility to get it serviced every year, and i had all summer to get this done." I also was going to be charged for almost double of what I was told over the phone. This was probably the most unprofessional company I've ever dealt with in my life.

After using other oil companies for years, I have been dealing with 7oil for about a decade now. Just today they came out once again, and since my heaters is a complicated old steam system, there is always something out of the ordinary. This time it was trying to get a part which is not proving to be easy but 7 Oil was very helpful, accommodating, and flexible with everything.
Their service person was very nice and knowledgeable, and their office staff who we had to call was also thoughtful and fair. They still seem to do business the old fashion way ( a giant compliment), and I appreciate that. We are very happy with their service and oil delivery and will without a doubt continue to use them for all our heating needs.

7oil has been the only bright spot for my family during this harsh winter. As a new homeowner, I was overwhelmed with the high costs and delayed deliveries I was experiencing with other companies. My cousin suggested I try 7oil. The staff there helped me get set up with energy assistance and delivered the same day. They even started up my heater for free! I highly recommend using 7oil for all future oil needs
