I will spare the details of the saga that preceded their visit, but we'll say that we haven't been able to cool our home for the last month. I attempted to use other local HVAC services, but either they didn't answer the phone or were reluctant to help. Tommy Bynum Heating & Cooling were different from the first greeting. I spoke with Rob at one point who was very knowledgeable, helpful, and respectful.

The service dispatcher and scheduler was kind and professional. She scheduled an appointment the following day with Alex. Alex was prompt, professional and warm. They were able to schedule a same day repair after Alex completed his diagnosis! We are now able to cool our house just in time for the heat to arrive, at a very reasonable price, and less than what anyone else quoted! All of this with incredible service! I would not use anyone else.

We had an issue with our furnace; Alex came out to our home the same day that we called for assistance, diagnosed and fixed the issue, and even had time to add in an AC clean/tune up that I asked for at the last minute. Contacted Mike at Tommy Bynum H&C about an intermittent issue with the air handler. That same day he sent Anthony to diagnose the problem & determine corrective action. Anthony correctly identified the problem to be the electric heat control board & replaced it. Many thanks to the Anthony & the Tommy Bynum team! I will certainly contact them for any future service needs!

When Tommy Bynum still owned this company, I used and found the service/ value acceptable if not superior, but this last experience was the worst ever. My mother died in October 21' leaving my 95 yo WWII vet father a widower and needing 24/7care; w him temp at my house I realized the furnace inducer fan was going bad (I used to work for Trane) so with record warm temps out in late December I still called for a technician to inspect/ diagnose.

Following the service call I received no follow up contact and requested it myself four days later, then received a quote for nearly $1000 on the fifth day following call just as a SEVERE COLD SNAP rolled in to replace a part that I found online FOR $130 in 15 minutes although it's not "my job." Despicable service for someone disabled with a 95 y.o. dependent.

Last night the temperature inside my house rose to 81 degrees. I contacted Tommy Bynum Heating & Cooling and Anthony Horton arrived promptly and replaced the blower capacitor. Anthony explained everything in detail and he checked to make sure the issue was resolved and that cool air was flowing from the vents. My house feels cool again! Thanks Anthony!

They are honest and willing to do repairs rather than just replace the system. We first used them for an ac problem several years ago. They made the repair and stood behind their work. Our system was 15+ years old and we were aware that it's days were numbered. When we decided to replace the upstairs and down stairs units their price was extremely fair.

The units have a good warranty, and the instillation was seamless. Joey was our rep, and he was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend you get a quote from these guys prior to repairing or replacing you heating/cooling system.

Now a part of Southern Comfort of Charlotte, they are professional, courteous, always on time and work quickly to fix any problems. We are on an annual service contract with them, which means they check our A/C in the summer and heating system in winter. That means they also prioritize us if we have any problems. Got to give a shout out to Anthony Holden, who has been our repairman on several occasions -- he really knows his stuff and is a nice guy as well.

Everyone from the beginning of my hot adventure which includes the emergency telephone personnel, the company dispatcher, the service tech, and office manager are absolutely amazing! Of course my air conditioning went out on an extremely hot day, but everything was done as soon as possible to get me back in the cool air and comfortable. I highly recommend this company services for their installation and the repair and maintenance.

Tommy Bynum had installed new heating and cooling units in my home about 18 months ago. My experience with them has been excellent both in the installation and the maintenance experiences. The ladies who work in customer service are always so pleasant and helpful in handling the phone calls. Every service person who has been in my home has been knowledgeable and so personable and very attentive to any concerns I have. I have been 100% satisfied that I chose this company for my heating and cooling needs.

Everyone on the team did an excellent job of taking care of us. Our install was complex ( 2 systems, high efficiency, and zoning controls) and spanned several days and I am quite detail oriented and everyone was pleasant and they were quick to return when we had something that needed fine tuning after the install. After moving to Belmont from out-of-state I needed a solid HVAC company I could trust. Coming from a family with HVAC business experience I knew what to look for. After researching and contacting several companies in the Charlotte area I decided to give Tommy Bynum a shot. They did not disappoint. Mr. Ronnie Smith came out on time and serviced two 2-ton HVAC units at my home.

I knew I was also losing coolant due to an installation issue and he found it and fixed the leak. He was very friendly and also gave me a few pointers. I knew I found my company to take care of my HVAC for my family. I also researched yearly service plans from several companies and Tommy Bynum stacked up well. Since I am chasing around a two-year-old these days I am limited on time to cleaning evaporator coils and or blower blades.

I trusted the service I got with Ronny and signed-up for Tommy Bynum's yearly service plan. I strongly recommend this company and hope they continue the strong values Mr. Bynum has put in place.

We had our spring check-up on our unit today. Ronnie Smith, our technician, called to let us know he was on his way. He was very friendly and professional (and he liked our dog!) Horrible customer service! These guys came out to my home with the wrong part and then said that I need a completely new system because my 28 year old one died. I said OK - give me a quote to get the new system. I was told that Tommy would call me or my wife back later that day to get me an estimate. I'm still waiting for that call - 5 days later. Unbelievable that the owner of the company can't call a customer back that is willing to spend $$$ with him for a new system. Call someone else - these guys are a waste of time.
