My father started Holly Springs heating and air in 1995 the town back then was a much different place to say the least. The gas station a Texaco at the time currently at old 55 and holly spring rd was the only place to buy basically any thing in town. Needles to say the town was ripe with opportunity's if someone was in need of a air conditioning repair it was literal word of mouth. We just saved this customer over $2,000 replacing an exact match compressor on a otherwise perfectly working 15-year-old unit.

Established in 1995, it has always been important to us to keep and maintain the values and standards of a small town business while working with an ever-changing community.
Most units can be repaired cheaply and quickly we live in such a throw away socity now it's a shame to replace a unit that in most cases were built better and cheaper to fix than modern units. Most of the time air conditioners fail due to low refrigerant wich in most cases can be fixed by a well experienced technician.

Great company. I have used Holly Springs HVAC for over 11 years. The air handler is the original when the house was built and the compressors the original owners replaced in 07 and 08. We replaced the coils in the air handlers about 2 yrs. Ago and the systems work great. Services: A/C preventive maintenance, A/C system maintenance, A/C system repair, Heating system repair

Positive: Responsiveness. I had the same problems for several years. Each year someone different came out and couldn't find the problem. The unit was blowing hot air. Of course it worked fine when they showed up. Tim was the only one to keep searching. He didn't mind my questions and observations. It was a real pleasure and relief to have his help. Gary recently came and repaired a leak on our ac for us. He was very professional and friendly to work with and really cared that we had our issue resolved quickly. He fit us into his schedule and worked very late into the evening to make sure it got done. This was very much appreciated and not expected. Thank you so much Gary!

The Best! Have owned two homes since 2003 and serviced our units, 3 to be exact, and always fair and honest! Pride in the work they do and so personable, feel like family and you are not a customer but someone they care about and want to get you back on track. Take pride in solving your problems and at the end of the day, it is not money but satisfaction in knowing you are satisfied and ok.
Want an example! IDEALly.3500.00 is way to much for an A-Coil and recharge of the line set. HS heating and air.800.00 Coil, 200.00-recharge-200.00 and 400 labor! This is fair. And this is just one example.could give you many more. 100% the best. And if it takes 4-5 days to get a part, sometimes its not their fault! Dont blame them! They do their best! Gary just left my house at 9PM troubleshooting what Carrier had directed him to do, and he found it to be something totally different. Fixed and done through knowledge and experience.
Would recommend them over and over. And I do. Want the best specialized surgeon for your family when it comes to fixing and making things better with your Central Air! Make the Call!

I was without air from both of my units from early May until the middle of June. AHS sent two different contractors to assist with the problem: Comfort First & Island Breeze. Neither really assisted with the problem other than quoting ridiculous rates for Freon. One quote was more than $2500 out of pocket which was almost 1/2 the price to replace the unit that was 22 yrs old-didn't make any sense!
I was on the phone almost every day for a month without air and no satisfaction until I finally asked for the ticket to be closed and a new one opened with Holly Springs Heating & Air. It took 1 day to get both of my units working again with the expertise of Gary who was efficient and my out of pocket was most reasonable! I know that the units will need to be replaced soon, even paid someone from a company outside of the network to assess my situation and he emphatically stated that my units needed to be replaced now -rusted out and sound like a Mac truck, but after Gary from Holly Springs, they are working for now. I must say that I did get some assistance from AHS's corporate office, and appreciated Amanda's help.

Gary was very responsive and was at my home within 24 hours of the notification from home warranty company we use. He asked me about what was going on, trouble shooted and was able to detect the issue that a previous HVAC company could not fix. And we were up and running by the time he left. Thanks Gary!

HSHVAC has been taking care of my house for more than six years. Gary stays on top of the latest technology and has been able to accurately diagnose the various issues my system has had. They do not push you to buy new equipment when a repair is sufficient. Check out their web site for self help tips so you can fix your own HVAC.

This guy is an absolute fraud and thief. We were forced to use him when we bought our new home which had a 1 year warranty on the hvac unit when we purchased the house. The unit was failing to cool. He came out to collect a quick deductible from us. As well as billing the insurance company the rest. It took him about 3 weeks in totality to replace our compressor.
When he hooked it up he gave us a song and dance about how he could not put refrigerant in until it warmed up outside above 80 degrees. That was false. It was spring time and we had temperatures that fluctuated from mid 60s to mid 80s. Ironically, he was always busy on the days it was mid 80s. I think eventually he finally showed up to "finish the job" and add the refrigerant when it was a cool is 64 degree day.
Basically disregarding the very thing he told us. Long story longer. There was a leak that he caused or missed. The new compressor is a year old. He will not guarantee any of his shoddy work. He should be out of business. The same way I am out of freon and air conditioning currently. I think he got his money from the insurance company, plus our deductible early on and then just lost interest on doing a good job.
I would never use him again nor reader him to anyone. We offered him the chance to fix his mistake. He said he could not do it for "free" since it has been a year. The thing never worked correctly. It didn't hold temperature all summer but it was cool enough for us to get by. I assumed it had something to do with when the refrigerant was added. Unbeknownst to me, there was a leak. Do not use this crook!

Great service! Came out at the beginning of the 3 hour window and had our AC on within an hour. I truly felt the gentlemen was out here for us, to do what it took and not take us for everything we had. Very polite, let us know everything he did. Even gave advice on how to not over work our system. Highly recommended! Hopefully we won't have too but will use again when needed!
