Thermo Direct

Should have seen the red flags when it took several visits to get a new unit installed. Less then a year later, unit broke. Technicians have been out 3 times and still not working. They have also not shown up when promised and are definitely not available 24/7.

Brycen was a very polite technician who was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions about our thermostat in diagnosing our problem. He was able to come out the same day we needed him and while not pushy, he politely informed me of additional optional services. I was very impressed and would likely use this company again. Great customer service.

I had these guys replace our two units a few years ago. Techs are hit or miss. First maintenance was great, next tech damaged the valve. We asked for the original guy that worked with us and all was fine. He left the company. Now when they come out I feel like I am in an Amway pressure up-sale event. Units are 4 years old and they tried to sell me 5 grand of stuff, pressure me and then pressured my wife after I said I would think about it. Tech made statements that contradicted when the previous tech's have told us. I will be switching my maintenance contract to another firm. This company has changed and not for the better.

Eli checked my electrical system and found a few minor issues that he brought to my attention. He was very courteous and professional, and his visit didn't take very long. I'm glad I took advantage of this inspection service. Thermo Direct has been my HVAC company for several years, and I've always been satisfied with their service.

I must say I am impressed! When our circuit breaker would not reset and several essential things including internet went down Thermo Direct came to the rescue the same day. Setting up the appointment time was easy and the price information was clear. Marc was our Technician and he was fantastic. Polite, efficient, respectful of our home by wearing booties and a mask. Marc diagnosed the problem, replaced the breaker and then found a plug that had a broken wire that added to our issue.

Thanks Marc for coming into our home and making us feel comfortable, explaining and fixing the problem. Although I hope that we will not have to call again if we do, you are now our go to professional. I also have passed your number on to my neighbors. Thanks again!

Wow amazing customer experience! I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Thermo Direct. We had 4 companies quote our HVAC replacement job. Thermo Direct not only had the best price, but the best actual analysis of our system to determine what we needed. David came out to the site, put on mask and shoe covers, then got to work measuring the size of every system component.

He listened to our needs and talked us through what's going on. He then sat and did extensive load calculations using his sophisticated software along with technical drawing skills. Gave us multiple options (good better best) to choose from and a BOTTOM LINE price for each that DID NOT CHANGE once the work was completed. His analysis was then confirmed by a 2nd set of eyes Jay which made us feel even better.

The day of repair was so easy for us. Ceasar Devin and crew came out and did some of the neatest clean work I've seen! The kind you just stare at and admire. They cleaned the site, sealed and covered all the right places, then explained what was done and final steps to expect. Oh and the system WORKS SO WELL! I will be using Thermo Direct for all my hvac needs. -John

Thermo Direct is top notch all the way. They kept me informed and went the extra mile to complete my service in a very professional manner. The salesman checked my unit out and gave me a detailed list of what was needed and a fair price for doing it. The repair guys were on time and did an excellent job. They made me feel comfortable and explained everything to me. This kind of service is hard to find anymore and I give them the highest recommendation.

This was my first time using ThermoDirect and they did a good job. My thermostats we're wired incorrectly and needed fixing. Aaron arrived, shortly l, after a text saying he was on the way along with a short bio and picture. He arrived masked and wearing shoe covers. I explained the situation and it took him no time to check and resolve the issue. He, also, found that one of our damper's motors were going bad and gave us a quote after searching for one. The quote was pricey but financing was available. He said to take time to decide and left the quote. He was very professional.

Finally! I have a whole house dehumidifier that needed service. I tried another company and after saying they did that type of work, they canceled on me. I contacted Thermo Direct and set up an appointment. Rome, the technician, listened to my description of the problem and fixed it. However, due to the original company installing the dehumidifier incorrectly he had to make a second trip out to relocate the dehumidifier.

Now it's in a new spot and there is no more roaring noise keeping me awake at night! I highly recommend Thermo Direct and I signed up for the Healthy Home Comfort Membership and look forward to working with them in the future.

Quinton was super professional and was able to narrow down our heat pump troubles to a faulty ambient temperature sensor. Very fair prices for a high level of expertise. (Thermodirect also installed a mini-split system for us last summer, and we were just as pleased with their crew, pricing, and high quality work on that job too.) Finally, great safety protocols around Covid made for a high level of comfort for me and my family. Thanks again!

Marc was very professional and quickly found the electrical fault in one of our outlets that interrupted power to several other outlets (but not all outlets) in the same room. I would gladly call him again if I needed electrical work done. This company is amazing! From scheduling a last minute appointment, to speaking with the customer service reps, to the technician that came out, everything was professional, efficient, and very friendly! We had issues with our heat last night and they sent somebody out this afternoon to diagnose the problem. Highly recommend this great company, and thank you Rome!

When I purchased my AC and furnace from them in June 2021, I thought they were the best business in the world. After spending way over $7K, the furnace only worked twice after turning it on. I don't use a lot of heat, so when I my heat on it must be below 45 degrees. Well, I am in a cold house because of Direct Thermo. You can use them, but beware, your system might now work for long or when you actually need it to work.

Corey was very knowledgeable about what the problem was and what the next steps we needed to take to get the system back running.

"Thermo Direct" (Garner, NC), is a reliable heating and A/C company with knowledgeable and courteous Project Managers and field workers. They can install a top of the line high efficiency and minimal noise system with quality components in a few days from initial inspection and detailed proposal to finished installation. The equipment they use have long warranty periods and maintenance programs are reasonably priced. All engineering, field modifications, and legal aspects are handled professionally.

I interviewed several vendors and asked comps for the exact same trane system. Jenna Dickens was very responsive to all my questions and gave the best price, along with rebates that she knew. The Thermo Direct team did an excellent job in the installation and were prompt and went above and beyond in service. I recommend them to my family and friends.

Consumer beware! I reached out and scheduled this service with the company online as they direct you to. I took a vacation day from work to receive the service and now they are cancelling 43 minutes prior saying they cannot make it until next week. This is horrible support and lack of service purchased. I spoke with representative Landice from the company who although said she understood my frustration, she was not empathetic in identifying the resolution.

She did absolutely nothing to resolve the issue and I wasted a vacation day on services not rendered. While Landice stated she could schedule the service for 4 days later, the manager Shauna stated it would actually be 6 days late. This company is very inconsistent in its practices and offerings. Be leary when attempting to conduct business as you may find you've wasted both time and money.

Very knowledgeable, speedy, nice - I'd highly recommend them! They came within hours of calling, and quickly identified the problem and addressed it. Derek is incredible - an expert at all things HVAC-related! Ben seems to still be learning the ropes, but is also very nice, efficient, and good. The only ding I have is the freakin price. They installed a new damper for us and charged us OVER 3x the price I could find for the item on Amazon.

The cost included labor, but I can't believe the upcharge was so ridiculous. It will definitely make me reconsider ordering anything through them, although I'll absolutely call them for a diagnosis since they are wonderful professionals.

Ben V was amazing. He came within an hour of me calling.fixed what the issue was and is coming back to finish up. It was after hours that he came and it took him over an hour to get to my home because of traffic. Awesome company to work with.

I can't say enough good things about this company. From the friendly and helpful women who answered the phone and provided guidance and scheduling, to Derek, the owner, and his fine team of of Jakob, Ben and Francisco my experience with this company has been great. The honesty and integrity of everyone involved is to be commended. It began on a hot steamy summer night when my A/C went out and I called their 24 hour line.

The woman who answered the phone was so understanding and helpful and scheduled an appointment for the following day--Sunday. Derek immediately set about working to restore my A/C which was almost impossible because the system was completely rusted and clogged up and almost fruitless to repair. I explained to Derek that I was facing surgery that week and expecting several caretakers and needed the A/C.

He was so kind and understanding and said he would not leave my home until he could get the A/C up and running for a few more weeks. Thus, I had A/C throughout the recovery period and then had a complete new HVAC system installed. The team that installed it over the course of two 10-hour days were amazing. They were so knowledgeable, polite and hardworking. Derek himself returned the following day to inspect their work and everything was working fine.

I highly recommend this company. I can't remember working with a company of such high caliber as this one. Many thanks to Derek and everyone who keeps his business running so smoothly.
