Had Kyle D out to replace inoperative piece in toilet tank. Also had him adjust additional toilet flow rate. Excellent job. Very personable. Asked him a TON of questions about other projects I am considering doing and he was very knowledgeable, explained things well, and gave me good estimates for some of my future projects! Highly recommend!

Technician came a day early. They gave me only a few minutes warning but fortunately I was home anyway. Tech seemed knowledgeable and explained what he was doing. Problem is unit is low on refrigerant. He quoted some astronomical price for the required refrigerant. I have done some research and found anyone can buy this for a small fraction of the price they wanted to charge.

I feel they wanted to try to get me to buy a new system instead of just recharging this one. Granted, it is very old and there is no way of knowing how much longer it would last. It does still work though, just needs more refrigerant added. I have also found out it is not unusual to need a recharge every few years so I am quite disappointed that they do not make that an affordable option.

When I made the appointment they did tell me that it would be $89 to come look at it plus repair costs. Well, all he did was look at it, no repair but charged me $159 anyway. He then tried to tell me the extra $70 is for his time. If that it's true then they should have told me that on the phone originally.

Called to request help at 9:30AM. Chris called me at 9:43 to say he was on his way. Job was done quickly and professionally by 10:45. Very pleased with both the job and the costs. Now I can sleep at night knowing my sump water is not digging a hole in my backyard. I know it does not look like a big job but the pipe cracked right at the wall so the repair involved removing the old pipe from the brick wall and then replacing a new one with a connection both on the inside and the outside.

Great company. Have serviced our old heater several times, when it finally needed replacement they did a great job installing a new system a couple years ago. Service / maintenance has been outstanding as well. Most recent visit was from Alex, he was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. He performed his work and reviewed overall status / performance of the unit with us. Would (and have) recommend this company to friends and family. -Ron

Kotz update my home with 3 new furnaces and AC units and a boiler. It was a very tricky job the way the house is laid out. Scott my salesman designed a new plan and followed though and executed the job. Employees were all professional and new what they were doing. Definitely a professionally run company, thanks to all thy guys who worked here!

I had the unfortunate opportunity to have my Furnace go out during the coldest days this year (4-8 degree days). I had a terrific sales rep in Troy Bridger that not only put my mind at ease but made me feel like family. He would discuss priorities that truly lined up with mine starting with family. It was a great experience and I am sure that all the Kotz reps and installers are just as friendly but next time I need service the first person I would call is Troy because of the trust I felt through our interactions.

Very timely service call and the technician was great. $605 to swap out a garbage disposal that took all of 45 minutes to complete? I did not like that you wouldn't give a good faith estimate over the phone when I called to schedule an appointment and you put the service tech in a position to ask for what is obviously an inflated cost for a simple job.

And I had to choose between sending him away and paying an $84 service fee and then paying someone else, or just sucking it up and agreeing to the charge. Don't really like that business practice.

I have shared your services with my friends and highly recommend having this maintenance program. It gives me peace of mind that I will not have urgent situations occur with my equipment. It is also nice to have the same service person from one visit to the next. Molly is very informative, I have trust that what she tells me is honest and in my best interest. Thank you for the peace of mind.

We had an emergency furnace issue and a team member was to our house within hours of calling. When he arrived, he was very polite and professional. Once the work was completed, he explained to me in detail of the issue and the fix. I would recommend this company for others.

Thanks Kotz for helping me out. Old furnace stopped working on Thursday. Troy helped me quickly find a replacement Trane Furnace to replace my non functioning furnace. They put me on the calendar for install the following day, dropped off some space heaters to use in the meantime. Install Tech Art was very efficient and knowledgeable. The work completed is very clean. New furnace is a very nice upgrade. The high efficiency along with the humidifier and air filtration system have it feeling really nice in our home. I purchased and had them install new furnace and air 6 months ago. Everything went great. Monday morning the furnace would not start. I called and they sent tech out buy noon. That was great. Turns out it was a blown fuse in the main board. He replaced fuse and all is well so far with furnace. I was charged $140 for the service call. That made absolutely no sense to me both units are supposed to be under warranty.

I call Kotz right after service tech left and tried to get explanation and was told I would get call back from manager. I have not heard anything so I'm posting this so maybe they will respond.

Once I called Kotz Heating & Cooling they were here within an hour. The serviceman was professional and knowledgable. Got the job done quickly with efficiency. Toasty warm now. I appreciated their promptness as much as their professionalism and courtesy. Will keep them in mind for any future issues with my furnace or plumbing!

First time out James root caused and ordered the parts. Theresa then called with my quote and schedule a follow up service appointment. All was great. Dave arrived to work on the furnace and was prepared, ontime, polite, courteous. He addressed the policies of their parts and services with warranty. He was very efficient about his time and careful with disassembly, cleaned and reassembled of all components. Checked proper function and I settled the bill, was provided an electronic receipt via email. All is good. Would definitely recommend there services. Dave the technician was awesome.worked on boiler this past Friday. (It's Sunday) Replaced 3 different components. Bought a maintenance package from him. Unfortunately, we have no heat tight now. Called Kotz -today, Sunday, answering service on. Hope they call me in AM! But I do think technician was great. Service: Heating maintenance

Alex was very thorough and professional. He performed routine annual maintenance on furnace. He addressed concerns found on the nearly 20 yr old unit. We've used Kotz for both heating/cooling and plumbing. Interaction with and performance of technicians have been great. Pricing does seem to run a bit on the higher side though. That has been my experience with plumbing, anyway. I'm looking at replacing furnace soon, so we'll see how it goes there. Overall this is a very good company and I would recommend them.

Furnace was not responding to thermostat. Called new years Eve morning and 2 techs came out within hours. Diagnosed several concerns with my furnace. Recommended replacement vs costly repair on 24 year old furnace. Appreciated the honesty. Called the office and requested a sales consult. Consultant was here several hours later. Looked at system and made recommendations. New furnace to be installed monday

I had previously used brinker plumbing and was satisfied with the service and cost. Since I last used them they were bought by Kotz heating so when I had a few plumbing services needed I again called them. This experience was a total disaster. The tech that was sent out refused to repair a leak in my built in whirlpool tub drain stating parts were no longer available and I would need to replace the tub.

So I then bought a tool needed to unscrew the tub drain strainer and used some new plumbers putty to reseal the drain, TUB FIXED. Also needed a 3/4 inch copper valve replaced and was given a quote of $341.00. I decided that was way to high and I would do the job myself. The total work time for me was 25 minutes and $14.00 for the valve. In effect I was to be charged over $600 per hour labor by the plumber!

Kotz Brinker is simply awesome. I have completed several home plumbing repairs in my home on my own thanks to Bonnie. She works at the front desk and is a wealth of knowledge. She saved me around $1000 on a leaking jacuzzi tub. They have all the parts and supplies on site at their showroom. Thanks Bonnie-you are the best!

Took care of our need for laundry tubs. Picked out our tubs and necessary supplies at the showroom. Done in a few hours. Quality work. Plumber was very polite and explained what needed to be replaced. Cleaned up after he was done. Would recommend this company for your plumbing needs

Great service but price on shellback utility sink pumps around $100 more than other vendors. Also, was not informed I could take pump back to factory in hazel park for repair ($60 for switch and diaphragm), glad I called the manufacturer and saved myself $268 bucks!

I really can't say enough nice things about Brinkers and all of their tech's including Jason, who was just here for the afternoon, installing a new water softener and sump pump. I've used these guys exclusively for the last few years, and I've never, ever been disappointed. Jason was even very patient with me, as I was late getting away from my client to meet him.

He sat in my driveway for 30 minutes waiting for me to get home. I've used cheaper "handyman" types, and other plumbing/heating companies, but I've never been completely satisfied. These guys even do bi-annual inspections to make sure everything is tip-top shape.

I did my due diligence in getting quotes with other companies and went with Brinker's. Jason the Tech. who installed my water heater was prompt, courteous and did a fantastic job. I live in a site condo community and posted on the community website as a recommendation for my neighbors to consider using them. Thanks Brinker's for the great job!
