We've used Boucher for many years to service our hvac system. Recently they replaced the system. From the original quote, to the meticulous install, to the help in submitting for rebates, Boucher was very professional and did superb work.

We had a hybrid heat pump/natural gas central heating/cooling system and a heat pump hot water heater installed to replace our previous all gas systems. Everything was done in a day and their office team helped with the paperwork to get some rebates for us. Everyone is professional, knowledgable and courteous. This is the second house fo which we have had their help with upgrading to greater efficiency and a smaller carbon footprint. What higher recommendation is there?

I recently contracted Boucher Energy Systems to install 2 Mitsubishi heat pumps at my house replacing a couple of 20+ year old central air conditioners. From the initial estimate I received to the final installation, the whole experience exceeded my expectations. The entire team was professional, highly knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. They delivered as promised and on time. I will definitely be hiring them again for my yearly maintenance.

We have been a loyal customer of Boucher Energy Systems for many years, starting with a heating unit which included domestic hot water. Years later we added two, thru the wall, A/C units. The latest addition was to install A/C /Heat on our porch, turning it into a 3 season room. The crew arrived on time, went over the installation with my husband and started work. Everone wore masks and shoe coverings when entering the house.

We chose Boucher the first time because of their reputation, and they have not disappointed us. They are always professional, the installation is a show place, they use highly efficient products. The crew was polite and they clean up when finished. We continue to be pleased with all aspects of using Boucher Energy Systems.

Boucher installed air source heat pumps with mini splits in our 1960's home. They worked through some challenges, such as our stone exterior, beautifully. They were professional, quick, and kept us informed every step of the way. Special shoutout to Tina, an excellent point of contact, and who navigated Mass Save's paperwork for me. Highly recommend!

I had my old Waterfurnace geothermal furnace replaced with a new one since fixing the old one would have been very expensive. Boucher installed the new one in a couple of days. They were very professional and everything was clean and tidy. The duct work that ties the furnace to the existing duct work was properly sealed. It all looks great. They did an awesome job. I'm extremely satisfied and work recommend them to anyone.

Boucher installed 2 ductless minisplits at my home. The quality and speed of the work were both excellent. The casings for drainage and electrical lines were installed exactly where and how I asked, and they look great. The electrician they worked with also did very clean work, and he managed to run all the wiring through the ceiling. They also stuck around after the job was finished to walk me through the controls, which was really helpful. Overall, I was very pleased with the service, and I'd use this business again.

I wanted to share my experience in trying to work with them. I had reached out to them on a referral from another contractor. First, they said they had no time for appointments for a month.fair enough, its been a busy season. I talked to the owner about the project and he seemed personable and asked me to send in all details, so he can provide a high level quote.

I took a bunch of pictures, drafted an email with all the details and sent it over. I waited two weeks to get a response and finally called back to check on the estimate. After being transferred to the owner, I asked him if he taken a look and when he would be able to get back. His response 'I will get to it when I get to it'. 3 months later he still has not gotten to it. I get things being busy, but don't make your customers send in info if you have no intent on quoting and don't be arrogant about it.

Boucher was terrific. From the initial site visit, proposal through installation they were thorough, efficient, professional, and generally great to work with. While earlier we had other contractors come look at our house, none was as thorough as Boucher. They listen to understand our needs and took the time to address all our questions. The installation crew was great.

In addition to be courteous and efficient they were very neat and left our house in terrific condition. They took the time to explain how to operate the system and are always available by email or phone to address any questions. I am confident that we got a high quality system that not only meets our heating and cooling needs but helps us reduce our depends on our oil fire furnace. I would highly recommend them.

This company was highly recommended to my by two different friends but me being the sceptic still gathered many quotes to replace central ac, gas furnace and add zoning to my 2 story house. I completely wasted my time. I could not be happier with the installation and service. From the beginning Joel explained all my options thoroughly and took a lot of time taking measurements, pictures, notes, etc.

He spent close to 2 hours at my house where the other companies were in and out in 30 minutes flat to give an estimate. We hired him and his team put in a top of the line variable speed system. They were all courteous, hard working and extremely knowledgeable. These were not plumbers connecting pipes as many HVAC companies seem to be. What impressed me the most was their responsiveness and willingness to our concerns about the system not operating quite like we wanted.

Though the new system had no problem cooling our house the upstairs thermostat was not accurate at keeping the set temp and we were getting intermittent whistling from one of the dampers. These are not major problems but most companies would not bother to come back after the install as long as there was cold air coming from the vents. Joel and his team responded the same day every time I contacted them and made 3 different trips back to our house until everything was just right.

They replaced the thermostat and were able to adjust the system until the damper noise was gone. The technician who came out each time was as nice on his 3rd visit as he was on the install. I never felt like I was bothering them. This company stands behind their work and has the crew with the skills to fix problems and not just install units. I have recommended them to my friends and will continue to do so.

They have been servicing our heating and air conditioning system for seven years, but no longer. We have had an ongoing small leak in the refrigerant line on our second floor unit. This June they refused to refill the system and wanted over $2,000 to replace the line, and $15,000 to replace the system if necessary. I called in another company and for $370.00 Ken refilled the system and injected a sealing compound which stopped the Freon leak.

He guaranteed this fix for a year in writing, and stated if the line had to be replaced he would charge me $850.00 and deduct the $370.00 charge for refilling and sealing the system. Well, here it is the end of August and he was here last week to clean both furnaces. Ken decided to check the freon pressure in the system with the sealer, and it was perfect. Needless to say we saved a lot of money and we're lucky to have found a knowledgeable, reasonable priced heating and air conditioning company.

They refused to perform a simple refrigerant service for my AC without inspecting my system for leaks at a hefty fee. They said I will most likely need to replace my AC system without even coming out to see the problem. I told them that I knew the leak was very minor and I didn't need the diagnosis/replacement service. They were also not very responsive. Other service providers were happy to add refrigerant at a fraction of the price they wanted to charge for just their diagnosis fee.

Finally - a reputable, honest energy contractor. I'm dismayed by some of the other reviews. I've had nothing but positive experiences with Boucher. After living in my condo for a decade and depending thousands on my flawed HVAC system, Boucher finally offered a viable solution, while assisting with oil to gas conversion. The work was done meticulously and I am thrilled with outcome. Technicians were responsible and completed the work in the promised amount of time.

Recently needed a service call and system cleaning and they with less than 2 days notice arranged appointment on Christmas Eve! Technician arrived at 8:30 am on the nose. This said, they are not inexpensive, but work is representative of value.

$265 for a Tune up on my Oil furnace. Highest I've ever paid., And it was just your typical cleaning and inspection, replace filters and nozzle. Doing it myself next time. I also forgot to mention that they sent me a quote to replace my Power vent for my oil furnace. It has some corrosion on it. Quote was $ 1800 to replace. Retail price that I can buy vent is around $280. Probably a 2 hour job, and thats being generous with time. So hows that for trying to gouge the customer?

Had central mini-duct AC installed in out older home and the work Boucher did was phenomenal. I received multiple quotes for the same Unico system and they were on the lower-middle of the range for price. Their quality and reputation is what got me to use them instead of cmpetitors. They took the time to work with me on the design and installation of a custom system in an older, non-ducted house. Installation was fast, professional and very clean!

This past year was one of the hottest on record, but my house was cool all summer long and my energy bills were lower than when I was using a few window units! Instaling central air is a big decision and I highly reccomend Boucher energy Systems.

There work is ok, but they are overpriced and unless you are doing a huge remodel or heating project, they could not care less. When I was revamping the whole home, they were all over me. When I needed smaller repairs or found issues with their install that needed remedy, they could not be bothered. I would rather go with and recommend a company that cares about their customers from beginning to end

Last year my air conditioner went south. Boucher sent out a repair person who diagnosed the issue, ordered the part and fixed the system. The technician was very professional and told me exactly what he was going to do. I would recommend them

Boucher Energy replaced my "builders-special" oil-fired boiler with a modern, efficient boiler/indirect-water-heater setup. We selected them because Joel came to our house and was very knowledgeable, directly answered all questions - a straight shooter - and we wanted to be sure that whomever installed this fancy new boiler was a trained expert at it.

The installation itself is terrific - masterful work, absolutely beautiful. All pipes are parallel, level, plumb; valves lined up; wires neat; pipes insulated. The crew cleaned up nicely. The only negative I have to mention is that nearly everyone we dealt with (esp. the installers) were not terribly customer-friendly. Courteous, professional, efficient, but I almost got the feeling they were doing me a favor by coming to install the thing, and when I went to check on progress I got the feeling I was invading their space.

I guess they can get away with acting like "all that" because, hey, they are - the results speak for themselves - but it would be nice if they warmed up a bit to the customer.
