I cannot recommend this company highly enough. You see, we had an old Bryant gas hot-air furnace that we estimate to be at least 40+ years old. We had a minor problem in that the fan would not turn off after the heating cycle was completed. We called Girard Heating and the owner came out and took a look. He said that the part we needed might be no longer made, but nevertheless he would try to find a solution.
A few weeks went by and we finally made contact. He came over and managed to find a work-around which brought our old gal up to top operating condition once again. Throughout all of this process did he in no way pressure us to purchase a new furnace (which we probably will do in time). Instead, he said, "It works fine so wait until it dies." We were grateful to hear this, for we are in the process of upgrading our old home and the timing of purchasing a new furnace would have put a severe strain on our budget. So therefore, I highly recommend this company for both their honesty and excellent work.
