Sketchy company! Was hired here in May and worked for a solid month. Tried to learn as much as I could I the short time allotted. After a job I come back to shop to clean and unload the work vehicle. "Mark", one of the rudest people you could ever meet, comes up to me and tells me "you are being terminated because we are downsizing the HVAC department and you are the lowest man on the totem pole." Essentially due to the mismanagement of this company I was hired for one month because they overbooked themselves on HVAC installs and needed cheap labor.
Overall I would not hire this company to due any service or install, the techs they "trained" me under are incredibly sloppy who take no responsibility for their poor installs. Go find a quality company to do your HVAC work! Not this one!

Scheduled an appointment for a service at 7:30AM. Appointment time came and went with no phone call. 11:50 and finally a phone call saying they could come now. No one home as we had planned for 7:30. No apology. No reason given. Was able to have tech (Kevin) come at 2-again no apology or reason given. He was very unprofessional. Did not take off shoes and did not have the appropriate tools needed for the job. I gave him our caulk and caulk gun to use so he didn't have a reason to charge us extra time on the bill to run back to the shop. All around horrible customer service.

Just a shout out to Dave from Halvorson's We had a plugged drain which caused our system to be unusable. I called late Tuesday and he was here by 9:30 on Wednesday morning. He worked hard, it wasn't an easy job. In addition he had to climb the steps many times to complete the task. Quality workmanship, thank you. Service: Drain cleaning

I am grateful my furnace was finally fixed however I am not happy that I was charged double for the part that was initially quoted to me. Also the part he had with him was a recalled item, so I was charged for 2.5 hours labor on a 1 hour job because he had to run to Eau Claire to get the part that wasn't recalled. I feel the company should know when their parts are under recall. I guess that accounts for the part being doubled. Either way they did a good job getting it fixed.

We had our furnace tuned up by Jeff at Halverson Brothers last week. He was very helpful and honest with our questions and concerns. The owner even walked us through some possible fixes over the phone with our air conditioner over the summer which saved us from paying them to send someone out. I would and will recommend this business to a friend!
