Gregorio was such a pleasure to work with. He kept us up to date on the time he would arrive and was able to identify the problem with our HVAC system very quickly. Prior to Gregorio, we had someone come out to look at the unit TWICE and called multiple times. Every single time we were told it was our settings. Gregorio took his time to really understand the problem we were experiencing and checked everything with our system. Turns out, it was defective and needed to be replaced. Really appreciate how thorough he was and how kind and easy he is to work with. Thanks so much, Gregorio!

What I appreciate the most about service technicians is their professionalism, honesty, sincerity and genuine care & concern. This has always been demonstrated by Nelson when he makes his yearly visit to help keep my HVAC system in tip top shape. He's very knowledgeable about his work, and passionate about the maintenance of the systems. I also appreciate that even though he highly recommends / advises for certain AC upgrades (air purifier and improved battery system), he does not become overly pushy or insistent that I make these large financial leaps that I can't afford. His level of service is top tier, and his customer service performance is exceptional!

Greg was very professional. He called ahead to let me know his arrival time. He checked the furnaces in the Attic thoroughly and made suggestions for filtering better than we had been. He spent time looking at air intakes with us as well an issue we had with the thermostat. He thoroughly cleaned the condensers outside. He was a great representative for airplus and we felt like our system was maintained properly through all of the services he performed.

I have am having to deal with this company as they installed the system in the home we purchased last August(brand new home). We have had issues since we moved in and are still waiting for resolution. Some parts of our home are freezing cold while others are stiflingly hot. 1 technician who came out was very patronizing "mansplaining" how to use a thermostat which obviously didn't fix the problem. Melissa when I spoke to her wanted to email a homeowners manual to make sure we are doing what we are supposed to!
She was very unsympathetic and the soonest they are offering to come out is in another 10 days which at this point is completely unacceptable. I would never recommend this company as there systems seem inadequate and inefficient (they probably placed the venting incorrectly in the home) and the customer service both with scheduling and service are very poor.

Our condenser unit had been freezing and not heating the house during the cold months for almost a year. We had multiple air plus techs come out to work on our unit. We even had the Carrier manufacturer representative come out to determine what was wrong with our unit. No one was able to figure out why our unit kept freezing. It got so bad that we were even given a new condenser.
A month later the unit froze again. There was no end in sight. Until, Joey! He was super helpful from the beginning. He listened to my concerns and suggestions about what I thought was wrong with the unit and he actually acknowledged them. He went above and beyond and now I have a working condenser that heats. Thank you Joey for listening to my concerns and figuring out the issue. Awesome job!

The technician was extremely thorough and professional. He took the time to show us pictures of our unit, explain how it works and made recommendations. I ended up agreeing to every suggestion made. Our 20+ year old HVAC and gas furnace needed some work, but after spending about $1800 on it, we asked them to quote us for a whole brand new unit, new ducting, a Heat Pump, and an ionizer. Luckily, one of our best friends sister works there, so she approved an extra $1K off if we took an open spot that week. We already had 2 other recent quotes, but Airplus beat them all!
There was a few scheduling snafus as we were also having our backyard pool gunnite and cement going in the same day. However, they sorted it out and the crane came back right after the last cement truck and pump left. We are extremely happy with our new unit. Thank you to Jay and Shannon for all of the help!

We have used AirPlus a couple of times under warranty for our new house. Nothing major, just minor issues that occur with any house. In each instance, their representative Saul was prompt, wore a mask on his face and put booties on his shoes. Surprisingly the problems had more to do with our house's smart technology and nothing mechanical. He was in and out on both of his visits in less than thirty minutes. Nice.

Generally good. Our annual service checked out without any issues. The service provider did wear a mask, but told he was not vaccinated. My wife and I are vaccinated, but we do not want to take chances with the pandemic and new variants, just a head's up. If you are concerned about any viruses including the common cold or flu, ask about the technician that Airplus is sending to your home to make sure he/she is vaccinated.
One other issue was disappointing was the quality of the filters he attempted to install in our ceiling vents. The filters were not the best quality filters as per their ratings (8). I know from experience, substandard filters do not work well. I had to give him my own filters (Filtrete) with a 13 rating. Other than those two issues, the tech did a very nice job. He was knowledgeable and friendly.

Dan has been the most wonderful ac heating system cleaning technician that I have ever had. I really would recommend him to anyone who needs a service. He said you cleaned our filters as well and said the attic was clean- no termites or anything. Thank Goodness to our termite tenting a year ago. I came her on a recommendation from family and friends. There very nice and offer good service. I had to have my motor replaced and they did it pretty quick! The price was reasonable and came with a warranty etc. Yesterday, I came home to find out my a/c was not working. The next day they put me on the list. Saul my technician was very professional, clean and wore shoe covers on without me telling him to do so. Saul practices all Covid 19 measures. I give this place the highest recommendation for reasonable prices and great service!

AirPlus originally installed my HVAC system in the new home I purchased in 2018. Three years later I had a drip issue that was not an easy fix. The team at AirPlus is fantastic. First I had Joey show up for the initial service call. He never gave up trouble shooting until a problem was found. (almost two hours) Then service tech Leo came to make the repairs.
He was very nice, explained to me exactly what was going to happen and was kind enough to wear shoe booties inside my home. Two hours later (or less) my AC was back up and running again. I couldn't have been happier. It has been so HOT in the San Fernando Valley, sleeping with windows open was not cutting it for me. When you read other reviews about AirPlus you can see others have had a similar experience to me and I have no plans of calling anyone else.

It was a great 1st experience! We were a bit confused with the air conditioning system for our home. After shopping around, we finalized Airplus only because of Jay who was very friendly and knowledgeable. The technicians were very efficient and friendly too. They went above and beyond by replacing some existing duct without any additional charge to ensure the unit worked as expected. After a couple of days Jay came in to check the installation if it was fixed perfectly as promised. I want to say a Big Thank You and would highly recommend them!

We were due to replace our 24 year old HVAC system. I called Sam's Club and they referred me Airplus of California. Airplus gave me an excellent price on new units that was lower than the other offers that I received. Their technicians were very knowledgeable subject matter experts, and the installation went very well. My wife and I are very happy with the overall experience.

Joey is exceptional! A few months ago I had another company to diagnose my furnace. I told them we had a huge power surge. Then they took a look and said I had to replace multiple parts. They recommended to replace it instead since the cost of replacing all of those parts was almost as much as buying a new one. Fast forward a few months, I got a recommendation to call Air Plus from my realtor.
Thinking I had to replace the furnace, I scheduled for someone to come out and quote me for a new one. Enter Joey. He came out the next day after my call. He took some measurements and gave me a quote for a new furnace. I didn't want to replace the furnace if I didn't have to since I'm selling my house in a few months anyway. He then asked what's wrong with the existing furnace.
I said it wouldn't turn on. So he came back up to the attic with his tools this time to diagnose the furnace. He came back down and told me he was going to get one part and he would be right back. He came back with a new transformer and replaced my old transformer. Sure enough it still worked! I asked him what was wrong with the furnace? He replied with the transformer was blown out but I don't know how.
Then and only then I told him about the power surge. If you're looking for a trustable vendor, these guys are it! Joey is very honest and he saved me a few thousands! Joey is definitely an asset to Air Plus! Thanks Joey!

I have a new house with Carrier units installed by Air Plus. I called them about installing an air Filter. Yvonne told me about the Iwave-R system and emailed me a brochure. I investigated it and found it to be perfect for me. Made and appointment to install. Today Nelson C. came to my home to show it to me and check out were it goes, etc. He gave me pricing on it and warranty info.
So I said I wanted it and he said he could install it today. He did a very neat job. Was courteous and clean and told me more about my system that I didn't know. I wish all service people would be just like him! Thank you Yvonne and Nelson!

This company provides terrible service on the phone. Couple of weeks ago they diagnosed the broken detail in the AC unit. Then they should called and send the technician back to replace the broken detail. They called last Monday and said to meet the technician that day from 2 to 5. But nobody showed up that day and next day and until now. All this time during the heat waves we weren't able to cool the house because of the broken AC and we forced to run the AC for hours to get the comfortable temperature at home. I think there is time to send my electricity bills to this company.

Where to begin, we first called Airplus in 2014 when our AC went out and a Friend recommended them, they came out on a weekend and fixed it, we used them for our house in North Fontana where they did a complete upgrade and rezoned our house and now we have used them in our house in Bakersfield to do the same thing. all of their people are helpful, courteous, polite and extremely clean and professional. Joey is the BOMB! Jessie and Joshua and the whole office staff go above and beyond in their customer service and helpfulness. thumbs up and hats off to the whole team.

We originally called AirPlus when our home was still under warranty, and the local Lennar office recommended them. A nice guy came out and fixed our AC right up. Fast forward to this spring, and naturally we called them again, because good customer service is important to us. We were told there would be a $76 diagnostic fee. "No problem, " I thought, they'll apply that to the total charge the same way literally every other contractor on the planet does.
I didn't even think to question it or ask what the labor charges were, figuring they're always somewhat expensive ($75-$125/hour). Wow, do I feel like a chump. A half hour later, a breaker switch thrown, and I'm $241 poorer. In decades of homeownership, I've never had an AC blow a fuse when the fan is still blowing, so I didn't think to check. Sure, that makes me an idiot, but a contractor structuring their fees to take advantage of a situation like this for profit is absolutely appalling. Sadly, this has happened to me once before, with a sprinkler contractor.
Since that $550 mistake and then a great experience with another contractor, you can guess who has had my landscaping business for the last 5 years, and who has since received ten times that $550. Why don't all company owners understand this? $241. To flip a breaker. This company has made it very clear that they do not want my repeat business.
With anger overcoming my embarrassment, I posted this experience on our neighborhood Facebook page (225 members), hoping to save other residents from the same grief. Of course it won't impact Airplus much, considering they've already got such big accounts, but I guess there's always karma.

We highly recommend Airplus of California for all your heating and cooling needs! This company has attended to our HVAC maintenance for over six years, and we have been perfectly happy with every aspect of their service, from the initial receptionist contact through to the end of the thorough service, which has always included respectful, knowledgeable, and fully competent technicians!

I would give these guys 20 stars if possible! My technician Joe Negrete was one of the nicest, most professional techs I have ever dealt with. Extremely knowledgeable, went room to room to make sure all vents were positioned correctly, adjusted several of them, changed my filters and even re positioned the outer metal frame for better flow. Even helped me go online to help my confusion of replaceable air filters. Very friendly individual and great conversationalist as well. Airplus, you better give this man a raise as he is a major asset to your company! Thanks again Joe.

Over the past few years I have worked with Airplus on a couple of occasions and have nothing but praise for Daniel (service manager) and his team of technicians.
