Gotta l' say Im pretty disappointed, I will be reviewing the contract closely in the coming days. 8 weeks is August 23, so I will be without AC for nearly the entire summer. This is the new unit Magnolia installed, under warranty, and under their service contract agreement Magnolia recommend I buy. So. Why is it that the part is $3000 and is under warranty but the labor is not?!
Why is it that a reasonable repair is 2 months away when a replacement would be better under these circumstances? Why is it that the portable AC unit only can cool 100 sq ft - when my house is over 1,000?! Why is it, the portable AC unit is old and short circuited after 2 hrs of use rendering part of the house with no power? Why is it, it takes a bad Yelp review, text messages, and letters to get the service we are ENTITLED to? Josh did nothing wrong in my opinion, he came out gave me a diagnosis and addressed the issue - he even called his boss/supervisor to ensure the diagnosis was correct and consistent.
He then fought for us to have a portable AC for the night. His efforts aside, it doesn't explain or excuse the above inaction. I voiced my concerns and had Eric, Samantha, and another tech calling me back to offer a solution. Essentially they bypassed the mother board that controls heating and cooling and wired it so it just cools until the part and motherboard comes in.
This is a compromise - just makes me wonder why this route wasn't explored. Yes, given the pandemic, supply chain issues, and now the looming recession high inflation - expectations of expediency must be lowered, but service should be elevated. They rose to the occasion but only after me going all scorched earth.

The AC in our rental house stopped working, couple of weeks ago. This was an old AC, and the weather was real hot. I called "Magnolia Heating and Cooling" company. They were quiet prompt in sending a technician who knew how to fix the older AC. I had to call Brenda, the manager, couple of times for different questions. She was very understanding and dealt with me with honestly, dignity and fairness, throughout the whole process. I recommend this company for anyone who has AC problem. Thank you Brenda.

Jesse was sent to do the maintenance for one of my rentals. As a property a manger it is very important that my property owner feels they are servicing the units and making sure that the repairs will be worth their investment. Magnolia Heating and Cooling came out today to do a maintenance check on a Daikin Heat Pump system I purchased from them last year. I couldn't be more happy choosing this company for my system install and maintenance. From the owner Eric to my install guy Mike and service tech today Anthony, all are very professional, kind, and knowledgeable. The ladies that answer the phones are also very polite and try to work with a time slot that accommodates the customer. You can't go wrong with this company!

I called over a month ago to get my current unit serviced and at the same time get a quote for a new system. My system is old and it was analyzed and I was happy with the process. I received a list of items recommended to be replaced. I was presented three proposals for a new system. However the quoted price for a new system was out of my budget. I was happy though that the platform under my water heater would be replaced which won me over to proceed with new system purchase if I keep saving a little more. Weeks passed and I came back to see if there's any incentives or possibly negotiating my quote.
I picked one of the three proposals. The Daikin VRV Life with air handler. I was told that I would get a call back to see if there's any wiggle room on my quote. The owner would be contacted directly and he will have final say so on price. 5 or so days passed and no one even bothered to call me or text me. So I had to call to get an update. I was told sorry it's been busy.
So I was told they will see the owner on Sunday 5-8-2022 which is Mother's Day and that my question will be personally asked. Mother's Day passed including several days after and still no call back. So I finally called and discussed the lack of communication with someone higher up. So I was offered a price that was actually fair. This was due to bad experience and lack of communication.
So I went to my credit union to apply for a loan. My credit union wanted proof of proposal so I opened my proposal and it was gone. I called Magnolia office and was told that proposal was pulled because the $3000 rebate was over. So now if I want same system it's $3000 more. I was told I should have gotten a text. I didn't get a text. I got a text message to be part of a bitmoji contest.
But not a text that incentive is over or coming to an end. However the proposal stated it was not over until days after it was pulled. Seemed like a shady tactic to not honor my proposal. Even though I was promised rebate wouldn't be over until third week of June. I was told sorry funds exhausted earlier than expected. There's nothing that can be done.
A courtesy call would have been great. I was told they'll see what owner can do if I wish to continue or to see if there's anything he can do for me. I said ok ask if there's anything that can be done to help me get a new system. Even downgrading to a Daikin Fit. Even though that's not what I want. So a couple days later passed and still no follow up.
I should have known not to keep my hopes up. And this l was the last straw for me. I was patient the whole process until now. I called the office on Saturday 5-21-2022 which is not a business day and I was told the person that was suppose to call me was off. So I explained then he should have told me he's off and he'll follow up with me another day.
But all I got was silence instead of a call back. This company was good in the beginning but their follow through and communication is poor. I am considering escalating issue to BBB and the state for pulling my proposal prior to the expiration. I still had time to finalize my loan with my credit union. And I was suddenly left out with no new system.
And who knows if my current system will last. I recommend staying away from this company. They will not call you back if they don't care about you. I never gave up on Magnolia Heating and Cooling. They gave up on me.

Magnolia recently did a full install at our home. Although they were not the cheapest quote we received, I couldn't recommend these guys enough. From the first phone call, all the way through completion, the communication and quality of work was phenomenal. Our air conditioning went out & magnolia did come out quickly, but the Technician looked at our system for like one second & immediately said; you need a new system that will cost you 15k-25k. I was like. I don't have 25k, & he was like; oh you can just finance it. Funny thing is, they did this same thing to my parents 8 or 9 years ago but they did it (not me).
I had another company come out & they actually looked inside of the system & diagnosed & fixed the small issue for only $500 & they also installed our new smart thermostat for us. I'm not saying magnolia is not good at what they do, but I will say, DO YOUR HOMEWORK!

I have never written a review before, but I felt I had to after my experience with this company. They came out for half an hour to fix my air conditioner, the repair man Jesse was very professional however he charged me $404 to fix a short in the contractor, so after $404 dollars I still didn't have air since this only got the fan to work. I called in to ask for a break down of what exactly I paid for and the manager could not give it me, she just said it was a flat rate. Save yourself some $$$ and go with a company that actually tells you what you are paying for.

Our AC unit had a refrigerant leak and our furnace was 30 + years old so it was time to get a complete new system. I received 3 quotes and choose Magnolia because Bobby from Magnolia provided the best energy efficient options at a competitive price. Once I confirmed I would be going with them the communication on the instal was excellent. The day of install their team of 3 showed up on time. Miguel, the Instal Leader did a great job of communicating their plan for the day. The instal went as planned and the team cleaned up beautifully. Very happy with the new unit and with Magnolia.

When it comes to professions in the HVAC industry, these guys blow others out of the water. My AC was having issues and i was quoted over $18,000 for a new one by several companies because my current 5 year old system wasn't working at all, and according to the other companies couldn't be repaired. I called Magnolia and they sent one of their knowledgeable and friend techs.
Within a few minutes of diagnosing my system, he had it running well, performed other maintenance my old company missed, and set me up for a routine schedule and my system has never been happier (or my family and myself!) They're honest, knowledgeable, courteous, and our families life long HVAC company.

Anthony came out today for maintenance on our air conditioner/heating systems. He had his mask on and also was more than happy to wear shoe covers when asked. He explained everything he found (good/bad) in the systems. He answered all of our questions with patience and a lot of knowledge. He was very thorough. We only had window units before calling magnolia. My husband and I chose the mini split system and it was 100% the best choice for us. Eric did the walk-through with us and explained everything perfect; weighing pros and cons for each system. He was very up front about pricing and the contract, love him. We found that the wiring in our 1959 home wouldn't support any system, so they recommended Trout Electric.
The extra holes in the last photo was from a whole house rewire. The installers, Hugo, Miguel, marvin, mike and steve were very professional and knowledgeable and honestly down right amazing people. In addition to all the work they did; the company even took the old A\C units and donated them to charity. I would 100% recommend this company.

I had a tankless water heater installed. John came out and gave me a very thorough description of what they would install. He also helped me solve a water pressure issue that I was having. I chose them over another company because of how helpful John was. On the installation day John and Casey showed up on time, were extremely professional and nice.
They did an installation that I can only describe as a work of art. They paid a lot of attention to every detail and even made sure future maintenance was convenient. I highly recommend Magnolia Heating and Cooling and their excellent staff!

Professional service from first phone call to follow up. We found our service tech to be very knowledgeable, addressing the service issues of our gas furnace and air conditioner. We were given the inspection results verbally and with emailed attachment. Options were provided and explained thoroughly. I had follow up questions and called the office and the next morning our service tech was on the phone with us and answered all my questions thoroughly.
Our furnace and air conditioner are 4 ton for a home just under 2500 sq ft - installed 2010 and why it wasn't a 5 ton and repaired 2 years ago with an incorrect starter is what we have. We don't have adequate heating/air flow, thought it was the ducts. We will be saving for new system but until then have functioning air/furnace. No high pressure, have options and can get our options further explored when ready. I am senior so the whole process of getting a phone call, confirmation and pic and bio of service tech coming out is really a plus for this company. This is a great service!

I highly recommend them. They are amazing. Anthony was not going to give up until he solved our problem. With this strange February heatwave we are having they found a way to get him to us the same day I called. He took the problem personally and made sure our system was fully functional before he left. He also took time to show us how to work our new thermostat.
The safety precautions they take during this time of COVID-19 is reassuring. Cloth booties to cover their shoes and the absolute respect and kindness is unmatched. They are our heating and air conditioning company for good. I cannot say enough good things about them!

Heater was being temperamental wouldn't come on automatically, occasionally would turn on when messing with it for a minute. Most of the time we'd give up and leave it alone only for it to sporadically turn on. It heated and it blew out so issues were limited on what was the problem. Then it became hot and no longer an issue AC worked fine.
Fast forward to this winter and same issues. I have an insane work schedule and who has time to wait around all day and then another day when the parts come in? Not me. Finally couldn't deal with the new lifestyle of being a popsicle. Called around yesterday and they were polite and professional (few other places we called not so much) I was told that Jesse will be there between 1 and 3. 1230 today Jesse called to let me know he would be here at 1.
He was pleasant, efficient, prompt, and on time. No weird random technician creepy vibes. I now have heat that comes on when it is supposed to and when I want it to as well! How spoiled am I?!?! Thank you! I will be referring anyone with HVAC needs to you and if I need again one day will be calling back. Thanks again! To the people in charge, Jesse needs a raise, and should be in charge of training people to replicate himself. Best customer service I've seen in a long time.

We recently just bought a home in Riverside and had no clue who to call for service. A/C not blowing cold and just wanted someone to look over the systems. Our 20 plus year old heater needed repairs for the first time. Magnolia came out on Saturday, the same day we called for service. John explained that the part would be available on Monday during normal business hours and he was able to repair that part in a reasonable time frame. I would definitely use Magnolia again for servicing our heating and cooling unit. They were very careful when entering the home, including wearing masks and using special "croc" like shoes that slipped onto their actual shoe to protect our floors.

In January 2021 Magnolia Heating and Cooling installed a new Daikin mini split system in our home. From the beginning, with our sales person Bobby Moncado, we received excellent service from Magnolia. Bobby listened to our needs and gave us bids on a mini split and a traditional system. We selected the mini split system so we could eliminate the gas furnace and have the thermostats in the bedrooms at significantly different temperatures.
The installation crew, Steve, Mike and Andrew, did a fantastic job! Because it was during the COVID lockdown and I was working from home they brought me a heater so I would be comfortable while they worked. They were always very professional, polite, and courteous while working in our home. They were also good about wearing their masks and helping us to plan where to safely keep our pets while they worked.
They were also good about keeping us apprised when problems arose or there were choices to make so we could make the best decisions to fit our needs. One of the things that really makes Magnolia stand out from other companies is the follow-up care customers receive. After the installation was complete, they sent out a technician, Mike, to inspect their own work and take any necessary corrective actions to make the installation as perfect as possible.
I was really impressed by this. In addition, when the City inspector came out and wanted some minor changes done, Magnolia came out immediately to take care of them. I can't say enough good things about Magnolia. Even their office staff is excellent. Karina always kept us apprised of where we were in the process and was always there to answer our questions. I would highly recommend Magnolia to anyone interested in having a new system installed or having an existing system serviced.

Our 20+ year old system finally gave up the ghost this year, and so we were forced to finally take on the task of buying a new system. I feel we did our homework, and got estimates from three different companies, including Magnolia Heating & Cooling. From the beginning, we found MH&C to be friendly and accommodating to our busy schedule, and were willing to meet on. Saturday.
The salesman, Bobby, was very professional and knowledgeable about the different HVAC systems offered by his company, as well as those from there competitors. He patiently explained our options and did not pressure us into making a decision once we explained we were in the process of obtaining quotes. In the end we decided to go with MH&C. Their price was a little bit more than the runner up, but we were sold on the quality of the system, longer warranty, and on Bobby's professionalism. We've been enjoying our new system over the summer and do not regret our decision.

John S. From Magnolia came in and helped us with our super old furnace and found leaks and cleaned it all out for us and was super professional. He was very informative and I appreciate that Magnolia sends us a bio in WHO is coming to our door so we see a familiar face. They will definitely be our go-to for anything HVAC!

Bobby was amazing at going through the machine options as well as the home inspection. Ronnie and Carlos did an amazing job for the install and Steve was great finishing everything up. I had 2 other companies come out for quotes but neither of them compared to the pricing and service of Magnolia Heating and Cooling

We had our system replaced 13 years ago by Magnolia Heating and air-conditioning, it was the right system for home, and has provided us with excellent heating and cooling year round. Your Air Conditioning and Heating system is one of the most expensive repairs and replacements for your home. Conduit with the Magnolia professionals before deciding on a system or service.
Once a year they remind us of the check up of our system. They are always professional and show up when they say they will be there. They stay in contact prior to arriving with texts messages and phone calls as needed. While in our home, they are focused to get the job done, and always friendly.

It started with just a phone call since we were looking for reliable and licensed HVAC to look over our AC repair. It was great overall that started with Jen over the phone to Sarah and to Jesse whom took care of our AC and any needed repair or update. I also mentioned to jesse that there's a leak from ceiling since there was water overflow in our AC. Jesse cleaned and repaired anything on the roof AC and he mentioned all his recommendations and if any changes to call them again. I got the annual checkup maintenance plan to at least look over since it might come in handy. I recommend them for sure! Thank you Magnolia heating and cooling

I spent several weeks researching HVAC units and talking with contractors to replace my 25 year old unit. The experience I had with Magnolia just absolutely blew the competition out of the water. Every team member was stellar and a professional in every sense of the word. It started with Bobby who came out to get an understanding of what I was looking for as well as to conduct an initial assessment.
He was very thorough and detailed in his assessment, much more so than the other contractors. Eric (the owner) also came out to discuss some options with me as well since he knew I was interested in solar. He, too, was very insightful and a pleasure to work with. Once I gave the greenlight, Steve came out a few days before the install date to make sure they had all the details they needed for the big day.
I was upgrading to a Daikin Fit fully modulating system with an all electric heat pump, so this wasn't a simple swap. The installation team members were Raven (Ray) and Victor and I really can't say enough about these guys. They absolutely knocked it out of the park and really took the time to do everything right. Last but not least, I can't forget Karina, who kept me informed every step of the way via text message, sending me little bio's of each team member I would meet, and letting me know what I could expect. Eric, Bobby, Steve, Ray, Victor and Karina, thank you all for your professionalism and desire for excellence. I wish more companies took the same level of pride that you do in your work. The new system has surpassed my expectations and I know 100% I made the right choice.

Anthony was here when HE said he would be. Nothing was wrong with our AC per se, it was just cooling in the front of the house way more efficient than the back of the house. He quickly and accurately diagnosed the issue, gave us his honest opinion, and made us feel valued. He was truly a gem - wore a mask the entire time, was considerate of family and small kids (who super curious as to what he was doing the entire time lol).
We hope Magnolia keeps servicing our home and community and look forward to their continuing service. I will say Magnolia Heating be out here hustling tho' like they be calling emailing and texting for that bread

We moved to riverside three months ago. I began doing upgrades on our 1957 home. I requested a $99 inspection on our 15-18 year old HVAC. I was on the fence about working NexGen or Magnolia. I chose Magnolia as I wanted to support local businesses. The sales guy told me my HVAC was a 9 seer after reviewing it. I was given options and chose a 16 seer seeing how he said it would save me money.
My electric bill was $150 so I purchased a new HVAC system with the intention of saving money. They gave a great financing package with 3% interest. The past two months my electric bill has not gone down. My AC was working fine before so I'm pretty much paying for a shiny box for the next five years and not saving any money. The three man crew that installed it were great. I would recommend this company.

Last October one of our two AC units died. We took several months researching companies and finally settled on Magnolia. Bobby M. came out to help us. He was great! (His wife is a CODA and he knows some ASL!) Bobby visited 3 times working out the details if our new HVAC systems. Steve was the engineer who worked out the details. Ray and Victor were our installers.
It took them 7 days! New air ducts, new grills, new attic access, 2 new systems and more. They arrived everyday @7am and worked endlessly til @5pm. They were professional, friendly, and kind. They cleaned up after themselves everyday and the new systems are fantastic. I highly recommend Magnolia Heating and Cooling. If you are lucky enough to get these 4 gentleman, you are fortunate.

I just want to give a shout out to Ray and Victor for there fast, skilled and knowledgeable work. My hot water heater went out and we reached out to magnolia they got them out here first thing this morning and these guys where professional! Any questions I had they answered. I wish I could rate them lower. This company is so unprofessional. I could hear and recorded the technician gossiping about me thru my vent while he was there under my house to make repairs. I had to reschedule a separate visit so I called a couple hours in advance and rescheduled before I got a call back from an irate extremely emotional woman ( Brenda) yelling at me about how it costs the company so much money to reschedule and demanding I keep the original appointment that I had already rescheduled with another employee. She yelled and demanded to know over and over why I didn't want my heat fixed. It was insane. Might have to post the video.

My Nest was giving me an error message and Nest customer service was not helpful at all. So I called Magnolia Heating and Cooling. A friendly representative scheduled a technician for the next day. He came with a mask and gloves and booties for his shoes. Diagnostic is $99 but waived when they handle the repair. Turns out my issue was with the furnace and cost $189 to fix.
He even noticed that I had put in my filter upside down and fixed that too. They only take credit cards. No apple or Samsung pay and no online pay options. I had to give him the actual cc number to input. Then I got an invoice/receipt emailed to me. Overall great experience. Thank the gods we have A/C again.
