Our technician, AJ, is honest and trustworthy. If he makes a recommendation, I take it. When things are working fine, he says so. In other words, he doesn't "create problems " where none existed before. We had used another AC service years ago, but they were very expensive and tried to sell us things we didn't need. We have been with Coastal Cooling for about 8 years and couldn't be happier. Coastal Cooling is the best around.

Our air conditioner quit working and we needed it replaced ASAP - received two quotes and Coastal was by far the best. The team that installed it was very professional and definitely on time. They were fast to respond to my clogged AC drain line service call and had the line cleared in no time. However, the $124 diagnostic fee, PLUS $165 to blow out the line was unreasonably high. I have no complaints about the service, but $289 for a 30 minute service call is a joke. Service: A/C system repair

Coastal Cooling was ever so prompt and professional in every aspect of submitting a proposal and the actual installation. All the technicians went to great pains to explain the operation and the settings of the thermostat. We are switching to Coastal Cooling for our annual maintenance visits as well. Highly recommend! Had an appointment scheduled for an estimate for air duct cleaning. When technician- I believe his name was Tim- showed up it was obvious he wasn't interested in doing the work. He left saying he would email me an estimate for the job. This was over a week ago. Never got the email or a call from anyone. I wish he would've been honest and let me know air duct cleaning was not something he was comfortable doing. It was a waste of both of our time.

I have lived in Southwest Florida since 1962 and Coastal Cooling is by far the best HVAC Company in my experience. The phone is always answered promptly by very nice, helpful and knowledgeable individuals. I am able to make an appointment for repair and maintenance purposes within minutes. I have some medical issues that require time sensitive scheduling which is never a problem.
I always receive reminders in the form that I request and notification that the technicians are en route to my home. They are prompt, courteous and very professional. Having a home on an island does have its challenges. A/C went out and a Coastal Cooling experienced technician came out by boat within 48 hours to diagnose the problem. Options and cost to either repair the existing system or replace it with new equipment was clearly explained and a formal proposal was subsequently provided. I opted for new equipment along with a maintenance agreement.
I was provided an install date, and as promised, despite the logistics involved living on an island, the job was completed in less than a week from my initial contact with Coastal Cooling. I strongly recommend them for your A/C needs. Experieced and knowledgeable technicians, and office staff very easy to work and communicate with.

Have used Coastal Cooling for 12+ years for high-end vacation rental homes for preventive maintenance, repairs and new installation. Always professional, always price competitive.
