My maintenance service was timely, and the tech was knowledgeable, professional, and polite. We have used FAST of Florida since 1987 and have always been pleased. They have installed, repaired and maintained our ac and heating systems. We also use their appliance and electrical services and have been pleased as well. We cannot say enough about our ac technician, Buddy. He is fabulous : prompt ( calls on his way and to update ), courteous, knowledgeable, thorough, friendly, and always goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure everything is right. We feel like we are in good hands and could not be happier.

My A/C stopped working on. Technician came out within a couple hours of my call. Very efficient. Nice guy. Showed me pictures of everything he did. Explained everything clearly. Even gave me advice on preventative maintenance I could do myself. I have been using Fast for a few years now and am always very happy with their service.

We've had a Service contract for a long time with Fast of Florida and it's worth every penny! From the front office staff to the technicians who perform the service, all provide great service in a timely manner. When our AC needed replacing, we hired Fast of Florida. We have a contract with another company that came for our summer checkup. A/C was working when they came, but quit within 3 hours after they left. They told us we needed a coil. Ordered it, but it is on backorder. They left us without A/C for 8 days. Called Fast of Florida. Joe came out on Saturday morning and traced the issue to a broken electrical wire. Replaced it and we have A/C!
Other company did not even check that. Will cancel that contract and use Fast of Florida from now on. Courteous customer service person and Joe was awesome he worked until he found the issue and repaired it efficiently. Great Job! Thank you Fast of Florida and Joe.

Our refrigerator failed, and F of F sent a tech the same day. He diagnosed the problem within minutes of his arrival, but did not have the part for the 20yr old fridge. He placed our window box fan behind the appliance to cool the compressor. Then he located the part in Jacksonville, and said he would return 2 days later. The box fan worked great, and two days later at 930am Dan returned to complete the repair in 10 minutes.
We cannot say enough about his professionalism, courtesy, concern, and ability to get the fridge cooling again while waiting for the part. Dan - customer service professional!

I had the plumber David on Saturday and the electrician William on Monday both extremely knowledgeable well-mannered efficient answered all questions that I had I would love to have them to come and work on my homes plumbing and electrical. I am not very trusting of people. Pricing was better than some others that I had called. Fast acknowledge that I had a plumbing emergency and tried to send someone to me immediately when I call others in my panic to get someone whoever could come first all the others told me on Friday that they can send someone on Monday or Tuesday although my water was shut off because it was coming out of my wall.
Fast call me back that night and was willing to come out and assist me. They reassured me that if I wanted to get some rest because, it was very late and since I already got the water shut off, they can come the next day. I was exhausted so I called the next day and they came and assisted me quickly.

Costly pricing. Don't use this company without getting other quotes. They charged my 89 year old next door neighbor $8,000 to install a new air conditioner. I have the same size unit as hers. I paid $4,000 to have mine replaced. Three of my other my other neighbors just paid $4,000-$4,500 to have their air conditioner replaced with different companies. They ripped off an old lady. Shame on these people.

The Guys that came out to service the Huge Plumbing Issue at my Condo were Amazing and through. Ray, was very nice and Helpful, he did what he could by himself the first day. Kudos for that I am very grateful for that. The 2nd Day a Team came out with the Big Guns (Cameras) that is. And did a top-notch scan of the of the building Pipes, on the Roof, behind the building, everywhere.
I was very intriguing to watch this process happen. Dennis, Donny, Scott and there was another guy (Hispanic) were all on point. Great Job Guys, But the Third day was the Best. Fast Plumbing came to my unit in a 26 high rise in downtown Clearwater. I called them they had installed a LeakSmart system in each of our 153 units so I thought they knew our units and were familiar with our building. All I needed was some toilet inside parts replaced. They charged $522 for less than a hours work and less than $30 in parts. When questioned they said "plumbing costs have gone up".
Two weeks later I called Clearwater Plumbing to replace my 3/4 hp garbage disposal. Their price for installation including the garbage disposal was $379. I asked the Clearwater Plumbing plumber how much they would normally charge to install the toilet parts and he said likely around $260. He did not know the ridiculous rip off price from Fast. Use Clearwater Plumbing!

We called them out to replace some switches and provide an estimate to do larger items. I paid the trip fee of $89, and then the electrician said he was too busy to complete any work at that time and left. It has been 20days, company has not sent an estimate, even though we paid for one. Called to get an answer and was given the run-around. Still no call back, estimate or refund. I would not recommend this company and will be filing a complaint with the BBB.

Had a service technician come out today to fix shotty work from Hales AC (Hales refused to come back and fix). Technician knew right away what was wrong and instantly our house felt cooler. Would have used them for continued work that was needed to be fixed but our warranty wasn't allowed with their company (warranty sold by Hales). Too bad for us but appreciate the little bit they could do on our behalf to make our home more comfortable until warranty workers could be dispatched. Thank you!

I was contacted by the owner after this review went up. He apologized and acknowledged the company's growing pains and informed me that they made some staffing changes for the better. He offered to refund me the amount owed OR a complimentary 1 year service contract with the hopes of winning my business back. I appreciated him reaching out and was grateful for the gesture so I took him up on his offer to start fresh.
He informed me his office would be in touch with the service contract. Time went by and I never heard a thing. As a courtesy I let the owner know. He had nothing to comment. Sad.

Well. I have purposely hesitated to write a public review hoping FAST would communicate with us as I have a long list of issues that happened during the process of installing a completely new HVAC in our newly purchased home in Tarpon Springs. I'm going to avoid writing a narrative about the issues during and after this very expensive purchase. But, I will NEVER, ever call FAST for anything new again.
Their lack of communication is inexcusable. Only one of their staff (Hector) was responsive, and actually tried to correct issues. Sad.and, unfortunate UPDATE: THE OWNERS REPONSE IS TOTALLY AN UNFORTUNATE PLOY TO DEFLECT BLAME. ITS BEEN SEVERAL DAYS, AND NO PHONE CALL. TYPICAL HOW THIS ENTIRE PROCESS HAS GONE. NO COMMUNICATION DESPITE THEIR LAME PROMISES. SAD Update as of March 11, 2021 Finally (after months of calling them to get it scheduled) FAST actually scheduled the county inspection which took place 03/09/2021.
The inspection failed! (This HVAC system was installed in September 2020). They installed this very expensive unit incorrectly (according to the official inspection report). The new GM promised to get the issues resolved and he would immediately schedule the corrections. I have yet to receive any such call from him (Charlie). So, FAST cannot be trusted with proper installation, and they refuse to communicate to correct their improper installation. I guess my next task will be to file legal action. FRUSTRATING!

I used this company for Brand New Installation of Split AC/Heating unit because of making my 5 month old infant comfortable in the room, paid $6500 in mid december 2020. It stopped working one week after installation, It was fixed one week later. Two weeks after that it stopped working again, Jonathan came and said one of the parts needs replacing and it will take 7-10 days, Ten days pass by and no call, I called then spoke to Jonathan's supervisor, Hector.
He said the part will take 2-3 wks. Three weeks passed by and I called again and I was told they will send a message to the supervisor and someone will get back to me. No answer for another wk. I finally got a call from the customer service after 4 wks stating that the part is in and they need to schedule an install date. Install date was given after 4 days.
Two individuals came to install and they said, it needs to order another part for the unit to be operational. We are at the end of week 5 and there is no update on when the new part will be in or when the unit will be operational. I have been trying to get hold of the General manager (Chrlie), I left 4 messages for him to call me in the past 10 days but no returned call from him either.

My next step is to hire an attorney to get my money back or sue them. If you want to go through what I'm going through, by all means use their service. Stay Away. FAST does sloppy work and will ignore it when you bring it to their attention. My condo building is telling its residents not to use FAST as the building has had problems with their work in other units. I am warning readers of this post to do the same. Use them at your own peril. FAST installed my HVAC in 2014. Each year since, I have paid for the yearly HVAC service/warranty.
No complaints until now. In Sept 2020 my system was showing high humidity in my condo. I was away from condo but got the info from my phone app that monitors my HVAC system. Called Fast and they were quick to respond. They came out and put freon in the system which seemed to fix it. The worker spoke to me by phone and told me he would flush my drain pipe.
I assumed that it was done so I did not have the person who checks my condo clear the HVAC drain pipe as he normally does every month when we are away from the condo. Within a month of the Fast HVAC person telling me he cleared the HVAC drain pipe my HVAC was spilling over and caused damage to my condo the condo hallways that belong to the building and damaged the floor below.
I had Fast come back out to the condo when I was alerted of this damage. I also had the person who checks our condo show up at the same time. They found that my drain pipe was completely clogged and the drain pipe cap was left off. Appeared that the cleaning never happened. When I purchased the system I had a float switch installed, which is supposed to shut the system down when these type of leaks occur.
Either it never worked or stopped working along the way. Checking the float switch should be done at each HVAC tune-up. It appears that FAST was not checking the float switch at tune-up time. It was inevitable this incident would happen as their sloppy work let up to this flooding event. I notified FAST of the situation by email to the person who heads up the technicians.
Never received a response back. I called and called and finally got hold of this person and he said he would look into it. Never heard back nor will he call me back nor will any other person who should take responsibility for this. They would rather loose me as a client than admit to their wrecklessness. I was always very friendly in my communication and all I asked for was for them to grant me a year of the service/warranty that costs $400.
They would rather ignore and act like it never happened. Not only have they lost my business, they are on the black list for my condo building as other residents have had bad experiences with this company.

FAST of Florida replaced our entire AC unit. First, they undersold the size of the unit, then sold us a thermostat they are unable to deliver. We were then sold duct work that was never able to be completed. The AC salesman Mike, has no clue what he sold us and made promises of work that his company would ever be able to deliver. We are awaiting a partial refund from FAST and it has been over a month with no refund issued.
The AC unit has now failed inspection twice with us receiving no communication from FAST. This is a terrible company with terrible communication. They tell you what you want to hear, then never fulfill. I would rather live in the summer months of Florida without AC than use FAST of Florida again.

Last night at 7:45pm my a/c stopped working. In no time the house was 82 degrees. I called Fast of Florida and help came to my house in half an hr.whew! A young man named Jonathon worked on it as the drain was clogged. I was dying without a/c. He was wonderful and fixed it in no time.he saved me from running to a motel as I can't stand the heat. So I give Jonathon a 5 Star review! Nice guy and he did a great job for me!

Fast Plumbing changed 2 shut off valves underneath my bathroom sink. One of them were not tightened up. It was leaking into my toliet paper, and toweling underneath my sink. It had already been over a week before I found water on my floor, because the toliet paper, and toweling was soaking up the water all the while ruining my bathroom cabinet. I am sick over this.
I have called them multiple times over the past few weeks to come, and fix my bathroom cabinet. I have gotten no resolve. They continue to say they will pass along the message. I am going to take this company to higher authorities. I am still waiting as I write this review. Susan that has been replying so eloquently to these other reviews on Yelp here, maybe you can help me seeing how you are representing Fast Plumbing on this site. I would NEVER use them again. Use them, it may be at your peril.

Terrible operation. Bought a new unit 6 years ago, they have made 20 or so repairs since installing this "new unit", the air handler has been replaced, the coils in the replaced air handler has been replaced the coils in the condensing unit has been replaced. The capacitor has been replaced and and every issue takes multiple, multiple visits to correct. This organization simply doesn't care and the technicians are Incompetent. SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE.

8/9--Repair finally made. I have never been contacted by manager to address my questions concerning the recently cleaned? drain pipe and failed float switch. 8/12--Received early morning call from rental agent that tenant who had finally moved in on 8/10 reporting a/c had quit during the night. A technician did make it out within a few hours and did get it running and repair was supposed to have been made on 8/15.
Fast of Florida has yet to let me know what the problem was and I will be contacting tomorrow 8/17 before the weekend to once again try to determine explanation for first issues and information regarding latest repair.

Had my warranty with Fast for years and they have been excellent to work with. Every year they allow snowbirds like us to delay our annual check up for spring which is helpful. Local company and the rates are a lot less than what we have in N Virginia. Run by a CEO who is a local leader in the community. Very happy with the service.
