Pioneer Heating & Air Conditioning

I have been using Pioneer to service my Generac emergency generator for several years now. They always bring the right parts and kit, are knowledgeable and courteous. They also show up in the time frame promised which is a big deal for me. I recommend and will continue to use as long as service is as good as it has been since I started using them. A+.

Another great service call for maintenance on my two heat & air units! Technician Chris Ullery arrived on time as scheduled and was polite, professional and answered all questions that I asked. He also had some great suggestions for cleaner air to help control my frustrating Tennessee allergies. I've used Pioneer for about 10 years and they have installed two units for us and have always done a great job.

I have used Pioneer a couple of times. They are very professional and knowledgeable. I really appreciate that they send a picture of the person coming to my house. Pioneer came out to address our heating and Air problem. They did not catch the problem the first or even the second time. However, I want to give them a five-star review because they found the problem the third time, and apologized for not catching it. To be fair, it was a tricky problem. They also did not charge me for coming out the two additional times. I will keep using them. They are a reliable and professional company.

Entire company on their game! Very professional and covered all aspects of the job from beginning to end. Installation of new Amana condenser unit and coil very efficient and completed on schedule. Entire group of people at Pioneer from telephone receptionist to sales to field techs FIRST CLASS! I would highly recommend this firm to everyone who needs anything done that they do in their listed services. The maintenance tech who performed the twice a year check of all systems was excellent and efficient. GREAT COMPANY.

Sutton E. Was on time, very personable, knowledgeable and helpful. He answered all of my questions and was very patient and kind. My issue was an easy fix (thankfully) and he explained it very well. Pioneer has always been helpful and and eager to assist us when there has been an issue or concern. I called this morning with a very limited time frame and they were accommodating and expedient.

Called for a representative to come out to check out the tankless water heater I had installed. Unit was set at 140 degrees and I measured 140 degrees with an infrared thermometer. Wife was unhappy about water at shower getting cooler with time. Told her it was due to colder water coming into the house during winter season. Personnel from Pioneer agreed with my assessment. I was impressed with their professionalism and will consult them for future needs.

Hunter repaired our HVAC unit today. He was polite, knowledgeable and professional. Answered ALL my questions in a way I could understand. Would welcome him back anytime. Only reason not a 5 star was because of the weekend service call rate. Had to go two days without heat. I know this was my choice, but that was just too much. Especially not knowing if I may have to wait til Monday for parts. Otherwise everything was great.

Chris U. was our technician and he was a complete professional and very knowledgeable. He showed pictures of the unit and its components and made non pressured suggestions to maintain the system. Horrible customer service. We paid to have a backup generator installed last month. After the installation was complete we expected someone would give us information on the operation and maintenance of the generator but that has never happened. After the install, everyone just left. We have contacted Pioneer by phone and email multiple times and. they have told us someone would come back to answer all of our questions. No one ever contacted us or came. We don't even know if the generator is operating. I cannot recommend this company based on our experience.

Problems from day one. Do not buy ac system or anything from Pioneer. A piece of junk!

Michael Lampkin was our salesman. He came out and made sure we were getting the right unit and that everything else was in order for it to be installed. He was over the top very nice and helpful. Everything he told us that would be done was done. The crew that came out did a great job. Very professional and did a nice clean up job. If you want great and reliable service, definitely have Michael and their crew come out and help you! I would definitely recommend Pioneer Heating and Air to anybody that wants quality work done!

I can not express how greatful I am that Chris got us taken care of as quickly as possible. The heat was getting unbearable so today coming home to a cold house was THE BEST DAY EVER. THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES OVER TO YOUR TEAM.

Pioneer has serviced our units for 20 years. always efficient and professional. No need to even consider ever using another company. I would recommend them for any and all services!

Technician was very respectful. Took plenty of time to do a good job.

We let them install a new system. They put holes in the wall and said they would send out a tech to fix. They have since ignored our calls after they recieved payment.

This is based off last two service calls made to Pioneer. First visit we were told our furnace needed a part that they would have to order and I would receive a phone call when the part was in to schedule service. I received a phone call 3 days later, that I missed but i returned the call within 5 minutes. The tech had already pulled in our parking lot, didn't knock on the door and left.

I had to schedule an appointment for the next day. Second visit. Tech arrived the same day as scheduled. Told us mini split could not be repaired and charged us $120. I called Davis Heating who came out the same day and repaired it, no problem. Roll the dice with this company if ya want. I'll never call em again.

The Duke had been sweating his nuts off waiting on some place outta west knoxville to come fix the AC unit in my outbuilding behind the house. Like, for real, my crotch funk looked and smelled like a dirty jar of dukes mayo that had been left out in the sun for a year and a half. Anyways, once I come to my senses and realized the address of the place I called was in the 37934 zip code, I immediately cancelled the service call.

The Duke prefers to do business with folks in 37938, 37918, and 37807 when at all possible. Called my boys over at Pioneer to take care of things, which they did. Come to find out, some of my people went to school with some of Gordie and Ethel's people. Ain't it a small world. So all in all this is the lesson learned: Don't sit in the heat waiting on some highfalutin west knoxville company. Just holler at your kinfolk over at Pioneer whenever your unit needs fixin. #thedukeapproves

I called this company early Friday evening for AC repair. I talked to a tech and was told we would be the second appointment on Saturday morning. Having not heard from them by noon we called to make sure we were still on the schedule. We reached the answering service and were told that the tech would call us back. So after no response we called again about two hours later, same routine, no response.

It is now 6:45pm and we have wasted our whole Saturday waiting for someone who not only didn't show up, but never even gave us the courtesy of a phone call. I would not call this business again if they were the only HVAC company in Knoxville.

Since they were based in Knoxville--I live about 8 miles away, I figured it wouldn't take them that long to come. No one showed. Finally after waiting in the high heat and humidity for no one to show, I called again and now the answering service made some stupid excuse. I'd pass this one by. It seems as soon as a company is established, then they get too smug and don't show up.

Ok we have always had good service from Pioneer Heating and Air until yesterday. We called and talk with customer service and they said that the service guy would be there the next day between 1:00 and 5:00 and we sat all day not doing anything from 1:00 to 5:00 and nobody showed up! the Service guy calls us after 5:00 and says he will be there in 15 minutes but we had already made plans to meet with a contractor at 5:30.

I don't know about you guys but I think that waiting from 1:00 to 5:00 is crazy anyway believe it or not people do have lives and other things to do in life and it was really hot most of the day so sitting in the house waiting was really not to enjoyable.

Had management company call Pioneer on July 3rd for an emergency AC repair. Pioneer never showed up and when management company called back on the 4th, obtained answering machine and never returned phone call.

I live in Farragut, TN. Over the past 10 years or so I have called on Pioneer more than 5 times and on each occasion the tech who Pioneer sent to my family's home was courteous, knowledgeable, and skillful in taking care of our needs. Not once have I gotten a high-pressure sales job. But each time I've called Pioneer for help, my heating or A/C problem has been addressed to our satisfaction.

I should mention, too, that I have enjoyed friendly and efficient customer service from the phone staff each time I have called. I've got Pioneer's number, and Pioneer has my business

Came home 2 days ago to 64 degree house. Cranked up the heat to 72.at 9PM still at 64. Called Pioneer yesterday morning; they showed up yesterday afternoon - and repaired the furnace! Great guys, very knowledgeable, very respectful of the house. Phil Williams Show was right.they're the best. And they offer 24 hour service. Hope I don't need 'em again, but know who I'll call if I do!

After 4 years of problems with a new HVAC unit, I finally found a company that was knowledgeable, friendly, and above all ethical. They were exceptional front the first phone call up until they called me the day after repair to ask if I was satisfied. These days that is extremely rare. Every person I spoke with was professional and kind with sincerity.

Do not waste time with any other company. Call Pioneer first and get the job done right the first time. I had previously dealt with 2 other companies who did not. Thank you to everyone at Pioneer for all their help and compassion!

Had a great experience with Pioneer Heating and Air. Bill came out located the problem. He had to order the part but made sure we had heat until he could get back out. Thanks again Pioneer everyone I have spoken with (lady that took my call plus another gentleman) have all been great. They understand what customer service is all about. Thanks again Marvin Hickman
