Riccar Heating & Air Conditioning

Had a great experience using Riccar. We have been struggling with dryness in our home and had been using portable humidifiers as our installed humidifier wasn't working. This was causing our furnace filters to become dirty faster than usual. We called Riccar on Monday evening and Chris came out on Wednesday afternoon. He was incredibly attentive and answered all of my questions as we are getting more familiar with the home as we just bought it.

Overall was a really pleasant experience and will definitely be using their service for a new motor on my air exchanger (which Chris was able to point out and explain the details).

My A/C dies on the hottest day of the year. I called early and Chris was here in no-time. He's clearly experienced, diagnosed the problem and had things up and running quickly. Very personable as well. Highly recommend! A+++

I was impressed with everyone I dealt with. In March, I called for a new A/C price quote. Greg came out. He gave me a quote that was $700 and $500 below my two other quotes. But he also suggested that I not get a new A/C which impressed me. He said if it were him, he would call the office when the weather got warm and get an A/C inspection for $149.

I did just that. Chris came out yesterday and gave my A/C a "clean bill of health!" This is an honest business. They are not going to try to sell you anything you do not need. I plan to have them out again in November for a routine furnace inspection.

Excellent! My furnace quit in the middle of the night, I knew what part I needed. I drove over to Riccar and they had the part, gave me some helpful information and by 7:45 am. I had heat again! I couldn't be more pleased with service we received for the replacement of our central air conditioner. The existing air conditioner was over 30 years old and there were challenges in getting the evaporator coil placed properly in the plenum. Sam did a phenomenal job of working through the challenges of the installation. When they were finished with the installation, Sam walked me through all that I needed to know about the new system and how to register it for the warranty.

They cleaned up so well you wouldn't have known anything was ever even done. Aaron did a great job of communicating with us to get the job quoted and get it scheduled as well. All in all one of the best experiences I've ever had with a professional contractor. A+++

Great experiences with Riccar every time I've used them. From the time they answer the phone call until the job is finished they've been professional start to finish. Chris recently helped me diagnose a few problems with my heating system that were not part of my original call to service. He is a fabulous technician who is very patient in answering questions and explaining what's going on with the HVAC system.

My service today was fast, responsive, friendly, and professional. The technician identified the part that needed to be replaced and took care of it quickly. Although my furnace is old, I was not pressured to do anything more than repair the part that was failing. When it comes time to replace my system, I'll be calling Riccar!

Good advice on what unit I needed for my house. Quick installation. Listened to my concerns. Needed to come back in order to fix a couple of things that weren't quite right (that's why 4 instead of 5). But they scheduled the extra visits quickly and did what needed to be done, which is very commendable. Very reputable company. I would highly recommend them to anyone! Oh never mind. 5 stars!

Highly recommend Riccar! Aaron and Dennis were fantastic. Aaron really tried to work with us on cost. He was very clear and detailed, explained things in a way that we could understand, provided us with options but also made recommendations for cost savings. They worked diligently to get the job done. We were scheduled to have services done on Monday, but with the heat wave, they were able to come out on the weekend to get it fixed. So glad we found your company. We needed our furnace repaired last winter and then we got a tune up last week. Great work. We especially appreciate Chris, he knows his stuff, explains everything thoroughly. Great experience all the way around plus fair pricing.

Our furnace went out recently on a Sunday night so Monday morning we called a well-known local heating and AC company. They came out and told us we needed 1 part replaced for sure and probably 2 others totaling close to $3,000. He said he couldn't get the part until the next day and strongly suggested we replace the furnace. We told him to leave and we'd think about it.

I called Riccar 2 days later and talked to Mark about our experience and he sent one of his techs over. He was there within 30 minutes, told us we needed just one part and the price would be less than HALF the price we were quoted by the other company, He informed me that they couldn't get the part until the next day, but 6 hours later he was back at my door with the part, had the furnace fixed in less than 30 minutes and we had heat again!

That's service by a company that truly cares about it's customers! Chris and Mark were great to work with and treated me as if they truly cared about me and my dilemma, and appreciated my business. They were very honest, fair, and professional and went above and beyond. I am going to refer them to everyone I know and use them for all of my furnace and AC needs in the future.
