Woke up to furnace not working properly. Called to either have a walk-through of issues or have someone come out to take a look. They installed furnace in 2020, serviced in 2021. Now, no longer servicing my area (no notice) and was told to call someone else. Not pleased. ETA: More local? We are 20 minutes away from you. I know you said you're short staffed and I can empathize.

But from a customer's perspective, having had two heating systems installed by your company (including taking recommendations on said systems) within two years --and thousands of dollars -- and being told you no longer service my community (that's what you said first, then said you were short staffed) was a shock. Maybe when you make those decisions in the future (ceasing to serve smaller towns), notify the loyal customers that are impacted so that when they call, needing your service and support, they aren't blindsided and given a short "Sorry."

I have had great experiences with Absolute Mechanical. They installed my HVAC system with a Hybrid Heat Pump/Gas Furnace and I've had it for 5.5 years now and I still like the system. I have had a couple small things come up, which might be typical with a system over a 5.5 year period, and Kevin is always very responsive. Shawn and Shaun did the majority of the work on the installation and were great to work with. Carl came out and serviced the system at one point and was respectful in the home. A great experience overall for sure.

I am a first time customer. Day one was to service my oil-fired furnace. During the servicing Mike found an issue that could be a problem during the winter. The next day they submitted a quote, found the items needed to correct issue, came back to my house and fixed the problem. WOW! THANK YOU ABSOLUTE MECHANICAL

They are great. Our furnace would not run and needed work, but we asked if they could do a new install for us. They fit us in that night and worked after hours to get it done. No issues so far and everything is working great. We are so grateful and could not recommend them more.

Mixed experience. Outstanding on split duct installation. Oil burner maintenance, sometimes goes well, other times not so good (maintenance service broke its previously fine operation). I contacted three HVAC companies for a replacement of my existing heat pump system. Company A: supplied a quote on the spot and I next received a follow up that I should order now because of price increases in August. Company B: quote received within one day - discount if I signed before end of month. My experience with Kevin at Absolute Mechanical (family owned business) was excellent. Kevin came out examined the existing installation, we discussed several options regarding equipment capacity, warranties, and cost of ownership.

I graded all three bids using the following criteria: Quality of Equipment, confidence in the company personnel, and price. Hands down Absolute came in on top. Installation was scheduled and they arrived on time, Crew was professional, courteous, and completed the installation by early afternoon. I then had an inspection of their work, a tutorial on how to program and use the thermostat and later a follow up call regarding my experience. Even though other companies carry the same equipment, the deal maker for me was the personal interaction with the folks at Absolute Mechanical.

These guys have helped me out several times on short notice. Fair prices and knowledgeable technicians. Most recently my hot water was out. I called and the same day they got a technician out and he fixed the problem. My furnace starter motor had died. They were shorthanded, but went above and beyond to get to me, even though they were booked for the day. I appreciate that kind of effort very much.

Kevin and the crew did a superb job replacing our 40 year old ac and heating system last summer. Like most people I didn't call till I had a major failure- no ac in July. They squeezed us in on a Saturday and did everything in a day. Our utility bills have been cut about 40%. Thank you.

Staff & Crew were excellent and very experienced with our installation for our 3 Fujitsu Air Conditioners (split/pump), all done in a day including one condenser. Kevin directed me where to get rebates, I am still not over how much more comfortable the house is. Someday when we downsize, if our future house does not have these, Absolute will be the first contractors I will call. Best investment we made, great warranty, we HIGHLY recommend them.

A big shout out to Absolute Mechanical for their quick response to my air conditioner not working last night. I called and spoke to Tina at 8:00 and the unit had a new condenser and was up and running by 9:00! Mike and Nate were awesome!

Without question, the very best experience I’ve ever had with any specialty service business. Kevin proved to be not only a true master of his craft, but just as important to me, a genuinely good guy. If you live anywhere near Brookline and are in need of these types of services, I strongly recommend going to Absolute first. You won’t go anywhere else once you have.

Had a new furnace and AC installed. Great service and went out of their way to get it done before we moved into our new home. Everyone was very friendly and very professional. If you need HVAC work I highly recommend them!
