These folks are the best. I would recommend them to anyone that needs AC work. I live out of state. Gave them a key to the house and they took care of the rest. They even replaced the plywood the air handler sits on. I cannot recommend these guys enough. The price was exactly what I expected. Service: Install AC

7 1/2 years ago I purchased a house that is 100 years old this year! The home had never had central heat/air. Many contractors came to bid the job and shook their heads or offered crazy ideas, but when Kevin came, he took his time, asked to think about it and said he'd get back with me. He called back with an excellent plan at a reasonable price and installed and has maintained my units since 2013.
His staff has treated my units as if they are their own. This week I had a problem and they were there the same morning & had it fixed shortly. I love to call Roberts and hear Ms Donna's voice and Amy is sweet & efficient too. Thanks to Kevin & crew!

I was a customer of Roberts for almost 25 years, but my most recent interaction with them ended that for good. Roberts installed a specialty unit in my new home about 5 years ago. The unit was not performing properly and a technician found a Freon leak in the evaporator coil a week or so ago. I asked for them to let me know my options. After hearing nothing for a week, I called and asked for someone to call back to talk with me about it. Crickets.
I called back the next day and was told that they would have their Service Manager call me. Again, crickets. I called the next day and asked to speak to a Manager. Still no response. I called again the next day asking to speak with Kevin, the Manager, and later in the day the Service Manager called to tell me he had talked with the Manager and they decided that they didn't want to work on that kind of unit.
When I pointed out that they installed the original unit they replied that they only did it as a favor to the builder. I can appreciate the business decision not to continue servicing the unit. I cannot accept the lack of response to my calls nor the fact that the Manager didn't have the balls to call me himself (and apologize for ignoring me) and pawned the job off on the Service Manager who failed to return my call from several days earlier. I have never posted an unfavorable review on any person or company in the past, is customer service was too egregious to ignore.

Air went out in our condo in the middle of June. Robert's was able to come out the same day and get it going temporarily but unfortunately we needed a new unit (unit was about 15 years old and the salty air had eaten it up). They were able to come back a few days later and install a new Trane unit at a price that was much cheaper than everyone else. We will always use Robert's Heating and Air for our needs.

Avoid this company. My 89 yr old father was having problems with his heat pump tripping the electrical breaker. Rather than fixing the root cause, which was an incorrect hard-start kit on the unit, the AC technician installed a new breaker in the breaker panel. Why is an AC technician doing the job of an electrician? At any rate, the breaker later caught on fire and scorched the entire breaker panel, which had to be replaced. Thankfully there was no house fire!
This company would not take responsibility or pay for any of the repairs and avoided further phone calls, until my father called on a different phone. At any rate, avoid this company.

During a service call it was discovered my AC unit which was 26 years old needed replacement. I discussed the situation with Al & he told me he would have someone at my house between 7 and 730 am the next morning. At 7 the truck was here and the 3 men were very professional and completed the job even in unfavorable weather conditions. I have used Roberts for 16 years and service has been excellent.
