A totally Exceptional removal and replacement of the HVAC components and laundry room components. Being there is an Air Purification system installed additionally, what's Really going on? I cannot fully express the level of TERRIFFIC this company actually is. It's never "comfortable" to have a team of strangers in your home, except this time. They kept my floors clean even though it was pouring rain during the install. They were friendly and respectful. It was a pleasure having the team here. The finished product is also clean, and organized. We are feeling a little fancy with the upgrade. Hire Adams, you won't be disappointed.

Adams provided a quote for nearly $1,000 for a repair on an HVAC unit. Decided I would get another quote since it seemed odd to me, and the other company found a wire had become undone and fixed it for the price of a service call. Approached Adams to let them know that they had tried to charge me $1k for nothing and for a refund of my initial service call fee, and I never heard back. I would advise you to find another HVAC service company, or at least obtain another quote for any repair.

My AC went out last night so I called Adams Heating & Air Conditioning this morning. The repair man was came out this afternoon and had my AC up and running in just a few minutes. They are a very dependable and honest. It was a simple fix and cost less than a $100. This is the second time I have use them and they will be my go to company from now on. When you are a widow and living on a fixed income and something like your central air stops working, it is nice to know there are companies that you can trust. Alice

This was our second time using Adams (first was for heat repair, this time was for AC repair) and I can't recommend them enough! Byron Jackson, the tech who performed the repair service, had to come out on 2 separate days and was on time both visits. He had to return the next day since he didn't have the part on him, but the company reached out and was able to get us an appointment for first thing the following morning rather than having to deal with no AC for another full day. Byron worked quickly and was very pleasant to work with.
Being without AC in the hot summer months is never fun - especially when you have 3 large dogs - but Byron was thankfully able to get us back up and running in a matter of a few hours after replacing our evaporator coil. Everyone I spoke to in regards to this service - including the service manager and the woman who helped me set up both appointments - were extremely helpful and very friendly. Pricing is reasonable - I called around to get an estimate from a few other local AC/heat repair places before scheduling the repair with Adams and the other companies quoted me for relatively the same price. Thank you for providing consistently great service!

Offered to repair my clogged a/c drain pipe. Quoted 400.00. After asking for a breakdown. The repairman charges are $130.00 to vacuum water out of the pan and pour it in the toilet? Smh no thanks. The next call I made repaired the drain for $200.00. Good luck attempting to find homeowners that will be ok with this type of pricing.

The Service professional was very courteous and knowledgeable. he did not attempt to sell ANYTHING discussed preventative measure for the "future" discuss the benefits of an annual service contract with Adam. Adams is a company that you can trust! We had a another company come thru and stating the thermostat needed to be REPLACED because it was builder grade and 8 years old. Adams came thru and repaired with advice on how to AVOID the problem from recurring that is what you call SERVICE! I would HIGHLY recommend Adams!

I highly recommend Adams Heating and Air. I had an incident one morning recently and smelled a burning coming from the vents. I called Adams, having used them one time before. They immediately sent out a technician. After the tech's review it was decided to send out a senior tech to assess the furnace. I had two options to make a costly repair or consider a new furnace.
Within days a project manager sat with me to explain, not sell me on what to consider. I opted to not only get a new furnace but an air conditioning unit as well. It was a cost savings and overall more effective to get both aging systems (13 years) replaced. The financing they provided was reasonable and doable for such a large home improvement. Special thanks to Marco Ferreria, Project Manager, Adams installers Juan and Esdras (excellent) and Eddie, senior tech.
Also thank you to the office staff. Today superior customer service is lacking, but not with Adams. I appreciate the character and integrity displayed by the company and its employees.

The office was very kind and courteous I called them at 8:00 that morning and by 9:30 the repairman was here to fix my heating system. He had it up and running in just a few minutes and all it cost was an $89 service charge call. He didn't try to sell me anything extra and I really appreciated that! They will be my go to heat and air company from now on.

They are a wonderful company. Every employee I have spoken with is kind, concerned, informative and caring. They replaced duct work when installing a new unit for me that I paid another company to do just a month prior. Turns out the other company did not really do the work I paid for. Adam's did not change the cost of installing my new unit and replaced the ductwork for free. I will use them for all heating and AC needs from here on out.

I am very happy with my decision to work with Adams Heating & A/C, Inc. Their employees are very well trained and professional. Marco had a Trane 2.0 ready to be installed painlessly at a reasonable price and on short notice. I bought an extended warranty on labor so that parts and labor are warranteed for 10 years. Juan and Idris came early for the installation.
They were courteous and wore masks. They were so quiet and cleaned up beautifully. I can't say enough good thingsabout these two gentlemen. Very conscientious, professional and good workers. Thanks Marco for your presentation and getting the ball rolling. A+ for everyone involved.

My AC fan stopped working on a Saturday night rendering my AC useless. Called around the city for help but most HVAC Companies couldn't make it out until late Monday or later in the week. Adams picked up their phone early Monday AM and had a tech on sight to inspect the issue within 40 mins. The issue was fairly simple, and I needed a new capacitor.
The price for the repair was a little on the medium/higher end according to online research. Really at the end of the day, the repair was fairly simple (10 mins) and the part is an inexpensive one (according to the internet) but the tech made sure the problem was fixed and was very professional and responsive so paying a bit more than market rate for a smaller repair wasn't that big of a deal. This seems to be an honest and trustworthy company that isn't trying to "sell you" anything. just fix you problem and address you concerns.

The success of a company is due to its work team. I wanted to quote in this company when I checked the reviews, and from the first call they did not leave me alone; Thanks to Michelle, she was looking for someone to help me in Spanish and she didn't let my call get lost, followed by the seller Marco, who took great care of us and wasted no time in visiting us, looking for the best options for us.
The installation technicians arrived at the agreed time, focused on their work and with the best of attitudes, thanks to each of them Juan, Esdras and Daniel for giving "La Milla Extra". I wish them success in that company and many blessings. The same thing happened to me as one of the reviews, my insurance company sent me a company that never returned my call to let me know the type of machine they were suggesting me, I called 3 other companies, one the seller never communicated, another did not I had neither help in Spanish nor immediate appointments but they came a couple of days after my call and the quote was too expensive, the third was a disaster since the arrival of the seller / owner. Adams was awesome to work with! From Jim's initial consultation and follow up to the great installation experience with Juan and Adrian, we couldn't be happier. We had a 17 year old Trane that was still running but we were ready to upgrade to higher efficiency. We ended up purchasing a Trane XL18 heat pump matched with a new S furnace controlled by a Trane thermostat we can adjust and view remotely! Adams gave us many options with no pressure and also did all the paperwork to get our rebate from Duke Energy. Highly recommend this team! A+++

1st Time using Adams and great experience. My Duke Energy audit suggested I had an issue with one of my two heat pumps. Called Adams and they came out that same day. Quickly diagnosed that my thermostats were both set up incorrectly, and had been for the past 4 years. My prior HVAC companies had all missed that. He checked both systems and reprogramed all the thermostats. I will be using them again this spring and fall.

I live in an apartment complex and this past winter my HVAC unit was really bothering me as I would wake up in the morning with a really try mouth. My eyes were also watering and I knew it wasn't from my allergies. I wondered if it was my air filter. I can't remember the last time it was replaced. I called my complex and they would not replace my air filter as they said it could only be replaced once a year.
I was referred by a friend to call Adams. I worked with Marco and he was able to come to my apartment the same day. He took a look at my system and I couldn't believe how dirty the filter was! It was disgusting! He was able to replace it. He even walked me through the process and showed me this spray he put on the filter to help avoid dust mites getting through to my heating/air system.
As a girl knowing nothing about HAVAC units, Marco made the process simple and made sure I understood everything he was doing. Next time I need my filter replace I will immediately call Adams.

I can't say enough good things about Adams! The entire process from sales to installation was customer-focused and top notch service! I'm a first-time home buyer and the HVAC was my first investment in a repair/upgrade. My unit was failing six months after buying the house and the service technicians mandated by the home warranty were lacking in customer service and unable to solve the problem.
When it was finally determined that my system needed to be replaced with a bigger unit, I left the home warranty service provider and started my own research. I compared quotes from four different companies. The sales consultant I worked with from Adams, Marco Ferreira, was so knowledgeable about my technical issue and beyond helpful when it came to choosing a complete new system.
I had a lot of questions with this being my first home and first HVAC experience. Marco never tired of answering my questions and did a great job educating me on brand reputation and models for my options. His communication was professional and prompt - something I valued greatly after weeks of unsuccessful service technicians before Adams. He was conscious of my budget and very thorough when we discussed price, not only of the system, but the whole process.
I was pleasantly surprised when he stopped by my home to check in on the install (even though he's not a service guy) - that's great customer care! During a particularly cold and snowy weekend, our heating system could not hold our desired temperature. I called Adams Heating & AC to diagnose the issue. They responded quickly and sent one of their techs, Jason, on the same day, despite a very busy weekend. Jason was very meticulous in his inspection and diagnosis. He took the time to explain the issue, step by step.
He presented all of our options and was very transparent about the pricing. Once we made a decision, Adams Heating & AC scheduled a repair appointment as soon as possible (within two days). In the meantime, Jason went out of his way to provide a temporary solution until the repair appointment. His level of expertise and customer service made for a great experience. He definitely went above and beyond to help us.

I have hired this company twice now. I have had nothing but exceptional customer service from them and is why I have brought them back out to look at my HVAC system (two years apart). Joshua came by to diagnose during below freezing temperatures that caused our system to go haywire. He spent ample amount of time to ensure that the unit was indeed working as it should and gave a few suggestions for what we could do to help keep our system running as efficiently as possible.
When asked about replacing parts, he recommended a solution that would help keep our unit operational and not break the bank for what I originally thought was a necessary fix. Before he left he also helped replace the filters. He was very personable and friendly and even petted our dog on his way out. Would definitely use them again for a 3rd time if I have to (but hopefully not).

DO NOT USE! I can't believe I have to award them one start that's TWO more than they deserve. The only reason why I called them, was because I thought I had in the past. Not the case. I live on the west coast and needed someone to fix my ac unit for a tenant in Charlotte. Adams heating and ac sent someone out to diagnose it, called me to ask if I wanted to fix it, to which I obviously said yes, that's why I called them in the first place.
Next thing I know, my tenant is calling me, screaming at me for "rejecting having the unit repaired, " threatening me with lawsuits. I called Adams and said WTF?! No one ever called me about anything after I said to go ahead and fix it! So they came out, fixed the unit, billed me full price for everything and then some. Thinking it's over and I'll never have to deal with them again, they call me a week later, after never sending me any work orders or receipts despite me asking for both on several phone calls AND emails, and they have the audacity to say they "forgot" to charge me $115 for cleaning the unit and that will now be a separate charge that I have to pay. This company is on something, AVOID AT ALL COST!

Our house has two HVAC system's consisting of two heat pumps and two gas furnace's. This type of system is more expensive to install initially, but is considerably more cost effective in the long term, with lower monthly utility bills. So, when I originally installed this system, I consulted with Adams Heating and Air. They did a fantastic job, very fast, neat, and I could not have asked for a better installation.
The result is a HVAC system that provides great comfort in all seasons, with very affordable monthly utility bills. We have an annual maintenance agreement for the systems, and have yet to have any problem with the equipment. There are many HVAC contractors in the Charlotte area, and I am sure any range of pricing can be obtained. However, the initial installation and pricing is not the only factor to consider when making a decision of this type.
Where is the 'low priced' contractor when the equipment breaks down? Who does the home owner call? My recommendation is to choose a proven HVAC contractor with almost 70 years of experience.

Geez Louise. Talk about a lovely customer service department. I called them up asking them to give me a second opinion quote that could have got them potentially thousands in business. But the service lady who picked up the call was adamant that she would be charging $89 for each unit. Long story I have 2 units and both have different problems. I know what the problems are because I have written quotes from different companies.
All I wanted was a second opinion. In spite of explaining this to the lady there she was adamant on charging the $89 fee for each unit. I offered to pay her for the one because paying for two is ridiculous but she wouldn't listen. If this is the level of support before doing the work you can imagine how it would be after or during work. So much for custome r support. Update 3/14/2016: I have received an email from the owner.

I have been using Adams for about 20 years, for service. They have installed 2 heating/cooling systems for me. One was particularly difficult due to the age of the house. A couple of other companies I interviewed didn't even want to mess with it. Jim (the GM) has worked there since he was 18. Stability in an industry that has a decent amount of turnover.

A consultant came to my home to replace my HVAC and I was very pleased with what Adams had to offer. Their prices are very competitive and fair. I decide to go with Adams after getting quotes from three other companies. Their sales consultant was the most courteous and professional out of everyone that came out to my house. He treated my home with respect, he put on shoe covers the moment he got in the door, he even took time to play with my two dogs while he was out in the yard taking a look at my air conditioning unit.
The installation was done in a timely manner. The two mechanics I had out at the house were very polite and did a fantastic job. I believe one of their names was Danny, he was excellent. I hope that I don't ever have to go through this type of purchase again, but if I do I will make sure to give Adams HVAC a call!
