My dryer start button broke, and Don sent someone out literally the next day to take a look. Jim was my technician and he was great! He was very nice, thorough, worked quickly, and complied with COVID safety measures. My dryer was fixed in a timely manner, and I couldn't be happier! I applaud Don's and Jim's professionalism, responsiveness, and knowledge to help me solve my issue. What a great team!

Jim and the team at Appliance Fixx Air & Heat were VERY professional. We had their tech Ray come to our hour all the way out in Walnut and diagnose our dishwasher issue quickly. We ordered the parts needed and the pricing was reasonable after checking online. At the last minute our landlord decided to replace the dishwasher with a new one and Jim and his team gave me a refund no questions asked. They are trust worthy.

We've lived in our house for eight years, and have used Appliance Fixx pretty much exclusively as things start to break. The ice machine stopped making ice and they came out and instead of making me purchase a new cutter, they were able to re-thread the old one. They also showed me how to clean it to keep it in better shape. Have been out a couple other times for other things and always treat me well, and try not to do things that would cost too much money. I've been happy with them.

Can't review an actual repair because they wouldn't even come out to service my Miele dishwasher (one of only 2 repair places for this brand available in the area) because I live "Way too far out there. Way too far to get a service guy to drive to." Seriously? I live 21 miles from their shop. How do you service the DFW area if you won't even drive 20 miles for a repair?

Historically fast and cost-effective (10 years ago). This time a guy showed up on Friday for our washer not agitating, but spinning okay. He checked the tran and belt as okay, but then couldn't get the agitater out (I also clued him on using his flashlight magnet on the lid lock for testing spin/agit) and would have to order an agitater and return the following week depending on availability of the parts (est $35).
It took me 20 minutes to find a YouTube video that showed the agitater just lifts out and how to troubleshoot it to the tran/agitr cap being striped (est $6). I called and left word on Monday, they said they would pass or on to the service guy. I didn't hear anything for another week so called Thursday and again on Monday. He finally called to see what I had discovered (?!) and I had to send him the Youtube link and a photo of the cap with the air agitater off.
I advised we were going out of town at the end of the week. When we got back home two weeks later, no calls. I called on Monday we'll get you scheduled when the part arrives. two weeks later. they finally sent another guy with the agitater kit and tran-cap. All working now, but bill was $226! Almost $90 just for the cap! Youtube said $6, I found it on two different part sites for $13-$17! 6 weeks, a lack of tech knowledge of the equipment, no professional courtesy calls, over-billing. I'm done. For another $250 I could have bought a new washer at the Sears Outlet (dented/scratched). I'll pay the extra for a Sears repairman next time.

This has been the worst experience. I have been trying to get my dryer and dishwasher fixed for over 2 months. I have had to call multiple times asking for the part and they keep blaming the manufacturers. Finally we had a scheduled appointment to fix the appliances this morning. i received a voicemail and when I didn't return the call in 10 mins they had already sent the technician on to the next job!

I made an appointment with these guys to come to the house for a repair. They never showed up or called. When I called to see what happened, they said they goofed and had it down for a completely different day. Then, the rude receptionist started talking in a very demeaning way. She would constantly cut me off when I tried to talk and kept putting words in my mouth that I never said.
I thought I was in the Twilight Zone. It was as if she wanted me to beg her to send someone out. She kept trying to delay sending someone suggesting I wouldn't pay for the visit. How moronic. I finally got to a point that instead of rescheduling, I just canceled the appt. It wasn't worth arguing with a rude, arrogant receptionist over their own mistakes. There are MANY other reliable appliance repair companies around. Don't use these guys. You'll only get frustrated.

Don from Appliance Fixx cam and looked at our AC. Even though my original suspicion was that it was just low on refrigerant he told me that the unit had gone bad and it has to be replaced. Fortunately I did not heed to his advice and called another person. The other guy not only agreed that it was a low refrigerant situation but also fixed the AC in a matter of minutes. I had better expectations from Don and I am disappointed that he gave me wrong information just to sell me a new unit in peak summer. I will not do business with him.

DO NOT USE. Unless you want to pay for damage they cause. Subzero sent them out for warranty work on my icemaker. I have a new home, less than six months old. They were unfamiliar with the icemaker unit, they left water dripping under my cabinet. I now have water damage to my cabinet, and they refuse to pay for it.
