Programming your thermostat according to your lifestyle gives you ultimate control of your comfort while saving money. Sometimes you can reset your thermostat by turning off the power to the unit and turning it back on, or taking the batteries out of the thermostat and reinstalling them. Dirty air filters are the #1 issue we see causing Home Comfort Systems to run inefficiently. A dirty air filter.
3. Check your air filters and make sure they are clean. Your filters may appear to be clean, but if you have a tabletop humidifier, the minerals from the water inside the humidifier has been known to plug up the filters in as little as one week. And if your filters are white, these minerals are visually undetectable.
When it comes to regular maintenance, your HVAC system is very similar to a car. There are a number of moving parts that can wear out over time as well as other components that need regular cleaning. Regular maintenance service is imperative for your Home Comfort System to function properly and efficiently.
Starting in 2016, you must register your equipment within 45-90 days in order to receive an extended warranty on parts.* In order for your warranty to be valid and effective, you must go online and register your new Home Comfort System. Depending on your specific Home Comfort System, the timeframe to register equipment, details and length of your warranty may differ depending on your manufacturer. We have included some general information you will need to gather from your equipment in order to register your warranty.

Our AC unit motor suddenly stopped. We scheduled online to request service and the only availability was three days from now. I am pregnant with twins and was very miserable in my home. However, we received a call today that they were able to come and service it (Sunday) with no extra weekend charge. Vince Torres came to check it out and replace parts all on the same day.

Super nice, considerate and professional. Made it stress free for us. We also decided to sign up for the membership for maintenance. AC unit is one thing you definitely don't want to skimp out of in this Vegas heat! Highly recommend, and thank you Vince!

I've been using this company for about 10 years and by far, they are one of the best service providers I have ever dealt with. Every technician I've had has been on time, polite, professional, and they even bring shoe covers to ensure that they don't track dirt into the home. They spend a lot of time during each visit to ensure that everything is checked out, and they educate me more and more about HVAC systems whenever I ask questions.

The service is thorough, as they take about an hour to do their service calls, so I definitely don't sense that they ever short change you. And they don't pressure you with things that you don't need, or replacements that simply pad the bill. Their prices are very fair but the fact that they show up as scheduled, and they are professional is such a benefit these days. Plus, I believe they are actually available 24/7, so if you need them, they are likely to be available.

You won't find that with very many business. They have earned my trust and probably deserve your business as well. I've considered other companies, but quite frankly, they all charge about the same so I stick with these guys because they are really good at what they do.

I had Sierra heating and Air install two furnaces and A/C units in my home. They did a great job! Always on time clean and presentable. I also have them maintain my system every 6 months. No quickie here they usually spend two hours maintaining my unit! I would recommend Sierra Heating and Air to anyone!

Outstanding job and excellent customer service by Derrick and Joshua. They were on time and very informative of what they were going to do. Both showed professionalism and was very approachable when I had questions. After the job was done I was given a thorough breakdown on what was their concerns and some recommendations on how to approach it. I don't know any other company since I moved to Las Vegas that showed a better work ethic then these technicians. I definitely would recommend Sierra AC and Heating! Thanks guys!

Alain came over and did maintenance to our unit. He was quite thorough and friendly. I had a pleasant time chatting with him. Great customer service! Very prompt and communicated very well about the condition of our unit. Made recommendations without the pressure of committing. I would recommend Sierra for your air conditioning needs.

In December, we had an issue with our furnace and had no heat. Sierra, who installed our system, came right out to take a look. Although it took three technician visits and several days to fix the problem (had to wait for the part), we were impressed by the knowledge and responsiveness of each tech and Sierra as a whole. We signed up for the maintenance agreement, and today was our first service.

I awoke to a reminder text of our appointment, which I appreciated, since it was scheduled about 6 weeks ago. We then received a call telling us our technician would arrive within the hour, which he did. Derrick Lakey was our technician, and I was impressed from the moment he walked through the door. He wore his mask the entire time, which I truly appreciated.

He was knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. He got right to work, and explained what he was doing every step of the way. We have 3 systems, so Derrick spent almost 3 hours at our home. I was so impressed with the excellent service he provided - he didn't try to sell me on additional products or services, but did recommend a few things. It was such a pleasant experience that I immediately called and scheduled our spring maintenance with Derrick. He exceeded my expectations in every way!

I recently contacted Sierra Air to install a new water softener for us - ours had recently died. Ruben came out and was extremely professional, courteous, and very clearly explained what to expect with the service and pricing. Since they had time, he actually was able to go and get the unit and install it the same day that I had my appointment. I'd highly recommend Sierra for any service based on this experience.

This company is amazing. The service tech are all very knowledgeable in what they sell and how to service the equipment. They are always on time and always use shoe covers even before the pandemic to enter your home. We have always felt confident in the quality of the work and the prices are spot on. Thursday afternoon my 1 out of 2 AC units stopped working. I tried and self diagnosed it by watching some you tube videos and DIY's. However, this one i just had to call in a professional. Contacted Sierra Air because they were the Factory installer of the AC unit that came with my home. Called them at 7pm and quoted me that a technician will be available at my house by 10pm.

I was very happy that they had an after hours technicians available. Sure enough at 10 pm Matt D. showed up. He immediately inspected the AC unit and concluded that my Fan Motor went out. He explained in detail what options we had, the pros & cons with different outcomes and also offered maintenance package's available. After consulting with my Commander and chief, we decided to replace all the Fan Motors to make sure all the Units will work properly moving forward.

To complete the Service we also added the maintenance package to include the Heater unit as well. Great customer service experience with the call center and prompt response from Matt D. service technician. Overall: Very satisfied and definitely recommended.
