Daniel was excellent. He cleaned our unit which was in rough shape and recharged our AC quickly and affordably. He also provided invaluable insight as to future maintenance that may be needed and recommended multiple common sense solutions going forward to address it. I will never use another AC/furnace company. Doc Dancer is a fantastic local company and Daniel should get a raise!

Jason Hissong was awesome in every way. Quick, efficient, on time, and courteous. We ran into an issue with a leak with our AC and I didn't have the time to look into it and address it. Called and got an appointment right away and he had it back online in no time. This is the 2nd time Doc Dancer has done work for us and both times were the best experiences with HVAC maintenence and repair. They will be our go to company moving forward. THANKS DOC DANCER!

I received bids from Doc Dancer and another company. What made Doc stand out was how they werent just going to install new units, but actually fix foundational issues and draining that were already there. They went above and beyond to make sure things were done the right way. He explained everything they were going to do before and everything they did after. They cleaned up well!

The professionalism was so evident. They were prompt, knowledgeable, answered any questions, wore shoe covers, spread a drop cloth to protect our carpeting. One of the workmen accidently put a hole in our ceiling. The next day they had the hole covered with dry wall, put dry wall mud on it & will come out to paint it! They also finished the wall where the old ac unit had been. We are grateful for choosing the Doc Dancer team.

"Doc" Dancer did a fantastic job all the way around. Dale got us up to speed on the best options for our home during the quote process, Kristi made financing super easy, and Fritz & Rick were professional, efficient, and answered all of our questions during the install. We're very happy with our new system. Services: Install AC, Install thermostat, Heating system installation, HVAC duct & vent installation

Doc Dancer was quick and responsive to my needs to replace my furnace/ac system. They quoted a great price (lowest at the time in town) and have better service offerings for the cost than most places I looked into. The install team was able to come by and get the job done in one day. They got everything put in and left no mess behind. I was at work that day and hardly would have noticed they were there other than the new system being in place when I got home. I would highly recommend Doc Dancer to anyone looking for anything HVAC related.

Kyle and Shane were timely, and even though they had to stay longer than anticipated at our residence, they did a VERY professional job. The work turned out great, and they both made sure to show me how our new thermostat worked. Thanks for getting everything one in a day, and problem solving small issues that came up the day of! Service: A/C system repair

It's not often you find good customer service, but when you do it makes all the difference! My heater was not working and I had no clue why. They had a same day appointment and Daniel, the on-site technician, was awesome! He explained the issue and how it could be fixed. Made sure we had heat over the weekend until the parts came in. As soon as they got them, he was back and had them installed so we were good to go. He was fantastic and explained everything. I can't thank Daniel enough and truly appreciate his help! Would definitely recommend Doc Dancer and Daniel! Exceptional service!

After saying the controller board was bad they quoted me $600 for the board alone (quick google search revealed I could buy it for $79 plus shipping, ) they said they wouldn't put it in because the manifold was probably cracked. Turns out you can't even tell a manifold is cracked unless you remove the burners. The tech said the only option was to replace the unit, at $3800. Charged me $89 for the service call.
I called David at Northeast Mechanical for a second opinion. He reconnected one of the thermostat wires and the unit runs fine. He didn't even charge me. I'll have him service all my rental units now. I have someone I can trust.

Came out to our home in a very hot day and we've already been without air for a day. Told us they could not go into our attic on a hot day. Did not warn us ahead of time. Now we have to go another day with no air -- my husband is 69 and has asthma. Another company is coming tomorrow. Would not recommend!

You know the exact thermocouple they charged me 172$ parts alone, is 7$ at Menards. The pilot assembly wasn't clogged and isn't listed on the invoice, there shouldn't even be a new tube there but even so, that's excessive. I don't negotiate well, but if you happen to do your homework, you might not leave feeling run over. I was too sick to see the promised estimate and after a call back and some hysterical late night voicemail torture which won't bode well for me with St Peter, I'm ready to be fooled.
By that I mean to say if the estimate is reasonable, they aren't automatically ruled out yet. As for all that what it costs to run a business, from the wife about her husband the technician, it's not what money you earn, it's what money you spend, be careful subjecting yourself to my judgments on having a family, I was an environmental public policy major in the 90's and we already knew it was hopeless. Compressed life.
Why do I need you so? There is a lot of slack in that $79.00 and it's being put on the bottom spenders. Clearly the computer generated price scale is full exhibition of the American ethos. Insurance is evil. You know it, so vote around it. Your family sure sure. Estimates are free, and I'm expecting one and I will consider it-- and they told me they would review the price of thermocouples, it's something they hardly ever use.
Call me cantankerous mojo. It's not like food service, the part hits the floor you can still have it back and serve it again. Like this, "I have one I used once to test another old furnace's 1940's motherboard, I'll rent to own it to you for a one time parts fee of 50$. Call me back when you decide to tear this thing apart, if not your electrician is a genius, and I in 30 days that still shinny thermocouple is yours to keep." Here I checked on others.
Found this on a Heil sight. I like funny jokes about Robert Martone (he moved away!) and the Germans. https://www.pickhvac.com/gas-furnace-repair/. Top price 200$. Raising NYC insurance rates child-ern, goad me more, process.

This is the third house in 25 years that Doc Dancer has worked on for us. The first house was a furnace/ac and standby generator install and maintenance, the second house installed furnace/ac/generator/floor and driveway heat and a garage heater. This house they are keeping an old system running until we can have it replaced. They have always been professional, know their stuff and communicate what's going on with repairs and install. Thanks to all the folks at Doc Dancer I cant recommend you enough.

Every time we have to call them out it takes multiple times for them to fix the issue. This time will the third trip and the issue is still not fixed and they aren't trying to come out because it's a Saturday. I'm about to ask for a refund so I can go somewhere else. It's cold and I keep losing heat in my house. This is awful and the company doesn't want to fix it.

Best best best service in town when you need help with your furnace or a/c. I know this sounds cheesy, but they literally tear you like family there! Family that likes you, that is! In the last 10 years I have lived in multiple homes and have had them install 2 furnaces and also service my a/c units. They have never left me disappointed. Everyone that works at Doc Dancer from the receptionist, to the service technicians to the owners are wonderful! That's how down home this company is. I've met the owners. They are a part of the business instead of just a name.
