Air Conditioning Ambulance

I want to thank Steve for his assistance last week. We came back home after hurricane Ida had left the house without power for a week. The AC system registered a system failure message. I managed to reach Steve how told me how to reset the system to get it running. It worked. During the week, we had to repeat this process a couple times until we had a technician come out to replace the capacitor. Just want to thank Steve for his help and the technician who fixed the issue in a prompt and professional manner.

From the first appointment with Steve to assess the work, through to the completion of the job, Steve was very professional, knowledgeable, and timely with all of his communication. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the final product. He even spent time to come up with alternative solutions for our system that have made the overall system more efficient, and accomplished all of the goals we had, and then some. Highly suggest AC Ambulance, and Steve for the time and work.

We've been extremely satisfied with Sidney and AC Ambulance Company for both our law firm and personal homes for numerous years. The office staff is always professional and responsive to our needs. Last Friday we had a situation where one of our water heaters situated on the top floor of our firm finally expired after 40 years. Although It was not the most easily attainable location, the installation team promptly dismantled an AC return so our plumber could remove and insert a new water heater. Tony with the installation team came back today, not only did he do a meticulous job, he engineered the return in such a way that the heater is more accessible. We could not be more pleased with the outcome. I highly recommend AC Ambulance to anyone in need of a top-notch HVAC company.

A/C Ambulance is a disaster. The installers are ill trained, not knowledgeable, and incompetent. I have experienced nothing but problems with the unit they installed in my home. Multiple leaks and drainage problems caused by the poor installation ended up flooding all three floors of my home. I brought this to the attention of the owner who referred it to his liability insurance coverage who dragged their feet for years until I had to get a lawyer to go after this company.

Even the fixes they tried were not done properly and I had to fix the fixes. I am still having problems with the unit. There are additional installation problems that are coming to light and I wish I could sue them again. I cannot recommend anyone use this company for air-conditioning installation. I would hate for anybody else to have the same bad experience.

I can't say enough about how happy and satisfied I am with AC Ambulance. Our upstairs AC/Heating unit broke and Sidney with AC Ambulance was able to come out immediately to diagnose the problem. We opted to replace our 20 year old unit with a new, state of the art Daikin system. Within 2 days the AC and duct work was completely replaced and was up and running! AC Ambulance truly "came to the rescue" during our AC emergency!

We got estimates from several companies to install an AC system into our old house. They were neither the cheapest nor the most expensive bid. This was a big job that required lots of finesse, patience and expertise. It took them about a week and they did a great job. We are now enjoying nice, cold air in our beautiful old home.

We are very satisfied with the installation of a Daikin inverter system by AC Ambulance. Steve and the installer walked our house and attic with us to understand hotpots and areas with low airflow. They both took the time to find creative solutions to our issues. They also took the time and care to do the ductwork install in a manner that would serve our family best.

The install team members were courteous and knowledgeable. I would recommend them for an install. The Daikin inverter system, along with the attention to detail in the installation of the ductwork, has made our home much more comfortable. The system removes the humidity from the air and keeps the home comfortable while operating very quietly. With the addition of the Air Scrubber, the quality of the air in our home feels greatly improved. I would recommend, Steve, the install team, and AC Ambulance for the product, service and 12-year warranty.

Brought our new born baby home and our first night home it was going to be getting cold. I went to go turn the heater on and it sounded like it was trying to kick on but it wouldn’t heat up. Called ac ambulance and explained what was happening. They sent one of their guys (Tripp) the same day/night to see if he can work his magic and get us some heat!

He showed up with a smile on his face, did his job and had us up and running in no time! Was very grateful they were able to come out that same day to save us! Y’all are the best!! Very affordable! Highly recommended!

As an afternoon thunderstorm was passing through yesterday we were startled by a loud POP inside the house - Lightning had damaged several pieces of equipment, including the AC. We put in a call to AC Ambulance just after 4:00, and hoped for the best. Well the best is just what we got. Mr. Vincent arrived this morning and evaluated the entire system to identify the problem, then quickly made the repair.

He was professional and courteous, and the price was reasonable. It truly doesn't get much better than this. What it says on the truck is true - I called Sid and I'm glad I did!

Worthless. I called on a Friday afternoon to get my AC checked because it wasn't working. They couldn't get anyone there till the next day and it would be $80. Okay, I need the AC fixed so sure. Guy comes out and says "yes" your outside unit does not work but I grounded it. I said okay we know what's wrong so can we get it fixed? I was told I could not get a quote until Monday.

To make matters worse my wife called that she was getting released from the hospital that day and would be bed ridden for a few days. I had to buy a window unit and sleep 5 people and a dog in one bedroom. Monday came and no call from AC Ambulance so we called to get a second opinion from a different company. The second company came out and quoted us a quote to replace the ENTIRE system which we did.

The ENTIRE AC system was replaced before I got my first call from AC Ambulance. AC Ambulance did mange to send me a bill for over $200 for coming out to my house a grounding a broken AC unit.

Called this morning and got an appointment this afternoon. Jimmy was quick, efficient and knowledgable. The price was great. First time using this company and will be using them again! Thank you!

Efficient, effective and professional. I called on Monday to schedule a visit on Tuesday. They showed up in the morning, identified the problem as a burned out capacitor, pointed out a few additional improvements I could make myself. Very personable and professional. And I went from an A/C blowing hot air to icy cold air in under an hour for about $200. A bargain. Strongly recommend!

A.C. Ambulance has been a blessing to me ever since I purchased my first home. As a first time home owner, I could not have asked for a better AC installation and service company. The service provided to me by the technicians and the owner of the company has been amazing and I have always been treated with the utmost professionalism, and efficiency.

I once came home after 9pm and had to call for assistance, but even so late, the company technicians came to my home and repaired my A.C. quickly and effectively. It was really incredible to get such service. You hear so many horror stories about AC repair, but this place really delivered. Just recently my AC was leaking from a clogged pipe in the attic.

I was scared I would get water damage if it kept going, but AC Ambulance showed up immediately. Actually, the owner of the company was there and serviced my AC personally. Total satisfaction and I'm absolutely impressed. These are great people.

I have been a customer of AC Ambulance for over 10 years. Sidney recommended it was time to replace the aging AC units at my house. Sidney spoke highly of the brand Daikin. I trusted Sidney and replace the two units at my house. I am so glad I replace those units when I did. My bill ranged from $140 to $180 per month before I replace my units. Now my bill runs about $110 per month. I can't say enough about Sidney and the friendly staff at AC Ambulance. Thumbs up for me.

AC Ambulance serviced my AC system for over a year and then when I asked them to quote on addressing an issue with my system, they said "we do not service systems we did not install". Never heard of that reason before. I even asked them to price out a completely new system which they could install and never heard back from them. Repeated calls were answered with "someone will call you", but nobody ever did. I give them a "neutral" rating for the good job they did before, but would probably not recommend to others.

After Hurricane Katrina we needed out A/C system replaced. A/C Ambulance came to the rescue with an estimate and replaced our system within 2 weeks. Very professional and they did a very neat job. We were very happy with them. Then came along Hurricane Issac, again A/C Ambulance came to the rescue. We had roof damage and flooding to our home. All of our ducts needed to be replaced. Again estimate, then job. Again very happy with their work. They also do all our Maintenance and repair work. I would recommend A/C Ambulance any day.

The woman I spoke to over the phone was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I called her on a Friday and she said the earliest someone could come was the following Tuesday. I took off work all day on Tuesday to wait for them. They show up out of the blue on Monday while I was not home. I call them Tuesday morning only to be met with extreme rudeness because I wasn't around for the technition who showed up on a day not scheduled.

Ultimately the woman tells me that someone would be out at some time on Tuesday, my original appt, the one I took off work for, but she could not give me a time or range. No one showed up. I called the office multiple times only to be met with an answering service that claimed they couldn't reach the technition. Now I'm going to have to take ANOTHER day off work and find another service to fix my AC that has been out since last week.

The WORST customer service I have ever encountered. Whoever the woman is who schedules the appts needs to be removed from her position if this business is expected to continue to stay open. RIDICULOUS.

We have used A/C Ambulance for almost 20 years. They are prompt, courteous and reasonably priced. Any time we have had "special" problems the owner, Sid, has come out personally. I highly recommend them AND the yearly maintenance contract.
