They just don't care. I have requested to do maintenance of my two AC units and look into a clicking noise inside my linear air vent. The guy did not even examine it, just told me it was an electrical problem because it was much easier than digging deeper into a problem. I paid them $400+ for a simple visit and then had to find a company that was able to fix an issue with the vent simply because they care about customers.

My air was broken and I found this other company (which shall not be named) but the unit was defective and they refused to come back to fix it for another 5 days. IN SUMMER. but I was patient and they came and put some coolant after I TOLD THEM there was something wrong with the inside unit. 2 days later. Broken again. Fed up, I called cool breeze and THANK GOD. REAL customer service and an ownership that CARES about their clients. Couldn't be happier with my new A/C and install. Super fast quote and installation! Thank you cool breeze!

My AC blower went out and out of 3 companies I called, only Cool Breeze came out to diagnose the problem late on a Saturday evening. They were able to locate and install the parts 1st thing Monday morning at a very reasonable price. They were responsive, respectful and efficient. I would recommend Cool Breeze to anyone looking to repair, replace or service their AC/HVAC. Thank you.

Cool Breeze installed a new A/C in my condo and the only reason I hired them was because my building recommended them. Such a big mistake. They charged more than other companies for the same A/C unit. After 13 months, the unit stopped cooling. Of course they refused any warranty service. The technician said there is a leak which causes low refrigerant in the system, and I need to pay $600 for a specific technique they want to use to find where the leak is. And that is not 100%! Or they can add refrigerant but the issue comes back soon. Total rip off!

I have lived in Florida for over 50 years, so of course I have had to deal with many Air Conditioning companies. Cool Breeze was the most professional and provided the best costumer service ever. Vincent devoted an incredible amount of time making sure I got exactly what I needed. Service: Installation

This is a terrible company. I originally wrote a review sometime ago, but I think they must have paid Yelp to remove it. I originally installed my unit in November of 2010. By January of 2011 I had issues with the unit. They came out and backflushed. but by May of 2011 it had problems and stopped working again. After *many* calls, they finally agreed to change the compressor in the AC.
After this, I still foolishly called them, as I didn't know much about ACs at the time. In February and May of 2012, the AC stopped working again, and each time they would come out, they would charge hundreds of dollars. Sometimes simply to backflush the unit, which takes about 10 minutes, and is very simple to do. At one point, I also asked them to acid clean the coils, and they charged $375, which is a completely ridiculous price.
I have since learned to backflush the AC myself, which ends up solving most of the problems. Also once per year, i acid wash the unit. I realized that the pump and bucket, and hoses you actually need to do this cost less than the $375 they charge to come out. I convinced my HOA to buy these tools and service our own ACs in common areas, which we now do.
When issues came up, I started using other contractors -- such as Triple C repair -- to do examine the unit. In 90% of cases, my AC (water based heat pump) just needed a back flush due to sediment in South Florida water. Once a year it needs an acid flush. Every now and then the high / low pressure switch needs to be changed, which ought to cost about $75 (it's no more than $10 or $15 at a local plumbing supply store).
What bothers me most of all (10 years later!) was that they had absolutely no shame, coming back 6 months after a brand new install ($3k) and charging me hundreds of dollars to do these simple repairs. They have an attitude of complete entitlement. I learned about how this company rips people off the hard way by slowly learning how to do these things myself. Don't trust them. Use other contractors.

Similar to other complaints, I have required multiple repairs. For the same repair they will charge you twice or more, since repair never done the same day. Something like $150 to come and $100/hour on top of that without a real fix-that is the first minute. They charge again for the same repair not done to come for another $250. They charge $100/hr to get the part.
That cost me hundreds just to get the part the repair before my current one. It is an amazing rip off and lack of any ethical customer service. I do not believe they are associated with the BBB-not a good sign. It is impossible to talk to a reasonable customer service person. They come one day-charge in my case around $500 each time-then they return the same week with the same issue and charge again.
My unit is not that old-first near $1000 repair the unit was less than 3 years old. Recently I changed flights to be there for repair. They said I had to be there. After I changed flight they said the dye test to detect a leak would take 14 days. The guy came after one day and did not know how to do it. I have a freon leak-not figured out. I have paid $485. They have not called back. They don't know what warranty is-I do (they wrongly registered under my dead mother).

I've been using Cool Breeze for 20 years, just because they are familiar with my system. NO LONGER! They were at my home just a few months ago (my air conditioner breaks down at least once per year) and charged a lot of money. When my air conditioner stopped working again last week, they charged me $200+ for an after hours visit, when in actuality the technician arrived at my home at 4:35 p.m. and left by 5:30.
Total bill was $315 and all he did was put 5 lbs. of freon in my system! While they diagnosed the problem as having to replace a coil, their estimate was over $2,000 for the repair. I got a second quote from A-Max Air Conditioning and the total price to do the repair was $1,080! Cool Breeze, you've been replaced!

Still working well, no problems, we have been changing the filters every month, and keeping it clean. I do think we should have gotten a larger AC, however, that was our choice and not Cool Breeze's. We live in a stilt home, in the Keys, the homes are not insulated well, so that, plus the increase in heat, is making the smaller unit work hard. Our home is 1100sq ft, small, but if I had to choose, I would definitely pick a larger unit next time.

Horrible customer service. Been using these guys for awhile will no longer use their services. Called and paid for emergency service on the 6th, called on the 9th to find out and the guy just placed the order for the blower. what he did for 3 days I have no idea. He insisted the problem would be resolved this week, now today they are telling me the earliest they can do is next week? Will also be writing a review on BBB. (Note: this is my first 1 star review)

I have been a loyal Cool Breeze customer for almost 16 years and have recommended them extensively to friends and family. A few days ago I called for service on one of my 16 year old units. Repairman Jorge Lopez responded and was able to quickly troubleshoot the problem to low gas. He added a stop leak product and refilled the system. A few days later the problem came back. Jorge Lopez responded again and diagnosed the problem as a leak in the coil.
I got a fair price for a new air handler from sales rep Jose Perez who credited me for the prior work. Jorge Lopez, assisted by Jorge Jarel did the install of the new variable speed air handler. They refilled the system and cleaned the plenum. They were courteous, professional and cleaned-up after they were done. I am very happy with the work.

Disappointed. They installed my AC many years ago and years later my duct system. My AC stopped working recently and I called them out to troubleshoot the problem. Took them only 10 minutes to find the problem and of course they charged me $95. That was fine because I agreed to it but.here is where my issue comes in with this company. I was told that I would get a call back with an estimate to fix the AC.
I ended up having to call them for it. When I called I asked what it would cost to replace the AC. I was told that a salesperson would call me back to setup an appointment for an estimate. It's been three days without AC and still no callback. Well I got another company to fix my problem that was more responsive. The fact that I paid $95 for the troubleshooting and they just don't seem to care to have my business is disturbing. They obviously don't want my business or yours!

I agree with those who gave Cool Breeze a negative review and would not recommend using them. I had used them several times as they put their sticker on my new A/C unit so it was simple to call them. However I had to call them several times to correct the very same problem. The final straw was they serviced my unit in July and sought to charge more than double what was quoted to my tenant who called them.
Although they agreed back in July to accept what my tenant said he was quoted by them, when the very same problem happened yet again in October they said they would not come to service it until I paid the unpaid balance and feigned no knowledge of my conversation with the service person with whom I spoke and agreed to pay the quoted price with absolutely no mention by him of any unpaid balance remaining. I was a repeat customer. I can only imagine how they treat new customers.

We had an ac issue last night and it was hot! Called Cool Breeze today and they sent a service person by 11am today. Great. Jorge Lopez was the agent, who described the issue quickly and solved it within one hour. Jorge was focused and knew what needed to be done. This was my first experience using Cool Breeze; I'll use them regularly. Great company!

Do not use this company. They schedule 4 appointments. Finally showed on the 4th. Had condensation on two air vents. The man caulked and taped 2 vents it took less than ten minutes. The bill was 300. 00. I refused to pay. These charges were outrageous for the time effort and supplies. I refused to pay that amount. After some angry negation I wrote a check for 150.00. Do not use them. By the way this company installed my unit for which I Paid them 7000.00. Beware of work done prior to getting an estimate.

I was looking for a new air conditioning company and I'm so glad I found Cool Breeze. Very knowledgeable, and very reasonably priced. They were able to come to my home promptly (something that seemed impossible for the other a/c companies I spoke with) and there was no question I asked that they didn't have the answer to. Everyone I spoke with was very friendly and always made sure I was satisfied with the service I had received. I am definitely a repeat customer. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!

Two words to describe this company, expensive and unprofessional. I really feel as we were taken advantage of. They came twice to fix the AC and charged us 400$ in total and the AC was not fixed. They get you by saying that the visit starts at 150$ and that this amount will be credit for any repairs. The catch is that when you need the repair they come up saying that it is a different diagnostic of the problem so now the 150$ doesn't roll over to the repairs.
At the end, they were asking for 3,800$ to repair the compressor. Moreover, the "technicians" who came to make the "repairs" did not know how the company works or who where their suppliers. We also found out that they usually charge 90$ to come check the AC unit but in Brickell area only they charge 150$ For all these reasons, I know they took advantage of us. Be aware.

Stay away from Cool Breeze if you value your time.- Long story short, no show at agreed upon time. I had to call them back 1/2 hour beyond the agreed time to find out whats going on. 5 or 6 now? Cancelled and went with a company that actually communicates, and shows up when they say they will. Go with Cool Air USA

I called for installation of two overflow/condensate sensors on two of our A/C units. They did not quote me a price in advance. Then they quoted me $180 for each and came down to $120 each. When I researched the part, AquaGuard AG-3150E, I saw the online price of $15.75. I am a long-standing customer but will not be any longer. Also, the gentleman who came out was constantly on his cell phone troubleshooting other jobs while I was being charged for the time.

I was in need of a new air-conditioner and Home Depot contracted with this company to install one for me. They pretend you are buying the AC from Home Depot, but I later found out that wasn't true. They are VERY expensive (more than double the competition) and they refuse to give you an itemized bill ("We don't do that."). Finally, after insisting on an itemized bill, I learned they charged $1440 to install a 2-ton AC in my condo.
That isn't the price of the unit plus installation just the cost of installation. I still don't know how much of the remaining $2331 was for the AC and how much was for the handler. They took advantage of me because they knew I was without AC for 4 days and had to buy one.

Friday night 7:30 and the new A/C is on the fritz. Called Cool Breeze and left a message. They called back 5 minutes later to let us know someone was on the way. When we purchased our new A/C unit, we were a little bit leery about this company, as we couldn't find any reviews or anyone that had heard of them. However, they've been as responsive and reliable as we could have ever hoped for (and in South Florida that is really saying something)
