Called to get oil delivered to needy family with no oil for a weekend of treacherous weather possible- Talked with "Steve". Very uncaring attitude from him when I was trying to explain the need. Couldnt deliver until Tuesday, had to purchase 100 gallons min. and the price per gallon was well over.50 compared to others that I had called. Also, when I mentioned that their price was more than anyone else in Winston Salem, "Steve" told me that I should go purchase from someone else. Not very professional. If I couldve given less than one star, I would have. Wont ever use this place.

Staff called me back quickly after I reported my A/C had stopped working. I am 76 and have asthma. Miguel was here by 1 pm and had my air up and going by 2 pm. He was courteous and explained the problem to me very patiently. Could not have asked for a quicker or better solution. I would absolutely recommend Bain to everyone.

There is a reason why we invested in the services and products of this company! Robert Runs a solid operation from top to bottom. Don pinpointed the best Trane option to a T! Followed by a same day turnover install of a Brand New System by Jonathan and David! Thanks for all your help and class act customer service. We would give it a 6 Star rating if we could! If you are in the market for a furnace or AC unit i strongly recommend Bain for a lot reasons from the way the phone is answered to the actual installation . Your product representative Mike Jacobs is very knowledgeable and is available and accessible. Your installation crew is professional & efficient. I've ordered #2 heating oil from Bain for the past five years. I have been a regular customer, always paying cash in order to get the lowest price. Normally the ordering and delivery process is straight-forward. For the past few months, however, the deliveries have not been made within the timeframe promised. I've been unnecessarily late for work as a result.
Because I pay in cash, it is not feasible to leave payment at the door. The first two times that this happened, I did not complain. On the third time, which was today, I decided that, as service professionals, they might appreciate knowing that I have been disappointed with this aspect of their service. I spoke with Steve, co-owner of the oil side of the business. he told me that the driver did come to my house.
I reiterated that my concern has to do with the fact that I was told the delivery would occur between 7-9am and that I was at home until 9:20am. That the driver came after the promised timeframe only supports my complaint. Plus, this is the third month running that I've experienced the same problem. Also, I did not receive a phone call with an update on the delivery timeframe nor an apology for the tremendous inconvenience. Steve said nothing, so I did: "Well, obviously, there will not an apology today either. So, I will take my business elsewhere. Thank you." And that's precisely what I did.
