Purchased an air conditioner not 6 months ago after having them come out to do an annual maintenance before summer. Of course my old air conditioner according to them needed all kinds of things. So agreed to buying a new air conditioner. From the very beginning the air came on super loud. They came out and got it a little quieter but still needed to turn the tv up to hear it when the air came on. They couldn’t make it any quieter. Also bought the maintenance plan. Got a call saying they wanted to come out and do the Maintenance even though it wasn’t even 6 months old. They come out and until that day other than the noise it was working. After the Technician Juan left it wasn’t but about an hour and it stopped cooling. Called the company. You only get an answering service who can do nothing but send a message to the company. Finally got a call back and said a tech would be out between 9 and 1100. At 1030 called back and said they would have have him come out first thing in the morning Had to call in the morning and he finally came out and said it was some kind of board need replaced but of course they don’t have the part and will have to order it. Won’t be able to get it until Monday. Of course we are in Fl and it is hot and the three people who live in this house are over 60. So we die of heat all weekend I have to call and complain. Finally talked to a csr in the office and she was snippy. Saying they had done everything they could do and they weren’t even sure if the part would be in today. Finally the parts manager called and said the part was in and Juan would be out in a couple of hours. Juan shows up and put the board in and guess what. The board going down ended up taking out the motor. Now we have to wait for a motor. Another night of heat and all this on a brand new air conditioner. Told Juan I wanted to speak to his office manager. He said he would tell him. It’s after 700 and no call. Please save yourself pure hell Don’t deal with these people. There techs don’t know what they are doing and the company just doesn’t care. They are quick to take your money but could care less what they put you through. And they advertise 100% satisfaction What a joke.

I had a service done to my air conditioning unit and the technicians name is Nick Licata. He was very professional and courteous and you can tell he’s a very meticulous person. He explained everything in detail and he did not leave any rock unturned. I’m sure Nick is a huge asset to the company. I am looking forward in July for our next service appointment which I recommended for him to come back. Definitely highly recommend Nick!

The team at Acree contacted me in regards to my review. Tim and Cameron seemed genuinely concerned about my satisfaction in the matter and took the initiative to address and correct the issues upsetting me. The work has not been completed yet, however, I do believe it will get done and I am very grateful they went out of their way to make things right. I would put zero stars if it was a choice. DO NOT USE, I called for a $69 yearly maintenance check on AC. It was working fine but I wanted to keep it that way. After a few minutes, I was told that it needed freon that would cost between $600 and $800 plus because it must be leaking I needed something sprayed in to stop the leak for another $800. I was told he couldn't continue tune-up till I agreed to pay $1900 then said it would be better to buy a new unit for $16,000 and did I want to pay all at once or monthly.
When I said no, he got the price down to $9600. I ended up having to pay $89 for a diagnosis just to get rid of him and he left. The next day the AC stopped cooling. I had another company come out after the holiday weekend and he said it was low on freon because two caps had not been screwed tightly back on and it had been leaking since Acree left. He charged $75 for the freon, checked over everything else and said there was nothing wrong. AC has been working fine since.
When I said no, he got the price down to $9600. I ended up having to pay $89 for a diagnosis just to get rid of him and he left. The next day the AC stopped cooling. Our old system has been on it's last leg for awhile. Reached out to at least 4 companies to discuss new A/C-heat pump install. Most either pressured for a 'quick decision' before the "special pricing" expired, or they sent someone who couldn't answer some simple but important A/C questions. Acree was different. The sales rep--Marcus--knew his stuff, quoted two options, no pressure.

We needed a kitchen sink replaced and all of the other plumbing service companies in the area couldn't give us any estimates for days; Acree could. The phone contacts were very courteous and accurate. They sent Dylan the very next day who was very professional and punctual. He had such a professional demeanor and he was very direct and honest. He made such an excellent impression that we decided to get the service done by Acree.
The job was performed by Cory who was also very professional and efficient. Cory's can-do attitude showed throughout the job. He was knowledgeable and very personable, great lead technician. This is our first interaction with Acree, and so far we are very impressed with their services. Hopefully, they maintain their quality because we plan to use them again in the future. They may not be the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.

Plumbing - jetting, maxi mill, hydro scrub and spot repair work Acree Plumbing and Air did a wonderful job and I would totally recommend to all confidently. I had a great team from start to finish. Tyler came by but called in Michael, specialist who came by the same day. He was very professional and explained in detail what to expect and offered options. Dustin along with his team (George and Fidel) were awesome and kept me updated on the work being done. Great work and Great Company 10/10.

Finally had maintenance after 2 years of covid on my 2.5 ton Rheem heat pump. After technician was done inspecting inside and outside he showed me pictures of the bad news. He said 1200 to repair the outside another 3500 to clean the inside because of the coils and the unit have mold on so it would be better just to buy a new unit. The unit is 10 years old and I've never had an issue with it cooling or heating.
I decided just to pay for the maintenance cost and not do anything. I did get a second pair of eyes on it and the problem was the $7 capacitor and a burnt wire. It cost me another $130 to have the inside unit cleaned and a new UV light installed. Go with your gut and always get a second opinion. Beware.

Our garbage disposal stopped working and we believed it to be a power issue, so we googled and found Acree. They were able to schedule someone to come out at the earliest appointment. Ben and Berry were our technicians dispatched. Both were very personable, knowledgeable and professional. They were able to quickly take a look at our breaker box and identify several items of concern and propose the necessary solutions that would not only address the issue at hand but preempt those we could expect in the long term.
They were very direct and thorough in performing their diagnostics, with very little interruption to our work day; got the job done in under an hour. I would certainly recommend this company and these two professionals to friends and family in need of electrical help at a reasonable price. My home needed the washer hookups repaired and then the disposal was going bad. Austin came right out(called and scheduled the day before) and looked things over. repaired the leaks and explained what was going on with the disposal. He gave me a quote on everything with a couple different choices. While he was doing one repair I went and picked up a disposal.
By the time I returned home he was almost done with the repair so timing worked out very nicely and he began replacing the disposal. Austin was very easy to work with and explained it all. I had another plumbing service come out before to check prices and Acree was competitive with better service. We will be using them if necessary in the future! Also provided pictures of everything.

Acree was on point from the start. Very courteous when I first called. Corey was amazing. He was on time, very thorough and let us know in no time what had to be done. Before he started the repairs he fully explained everything he was going to do so we would know in advance what to expect. Cory was professional and I will be requesting him for future repairs. Bryant Beacham was the service tech assigned today. He was one of the most professional technicians I have ever met. He was exactly on time, got straight to work and completed the A/C maintenance quickly. He made all the proper recommendations to keep our A/C protected and running efficiently and effectively without being your typical "pushy salesman".
That is the type of service that keeps a customer wanting to continue the services with the company. I certainly recommend Bryant as a service provider. Thank you for the awesome experience.

Our kitchen sink was clogged and took over 12 hours to drain, so we called Acree to come out and take a look. The supervisor ended up coming out and ran a camera down our pipes. He said the pipes needed hydrojetting and milled. They charged us $4000 for the hydrojet and wanted to charge an additional $7000 for the milling. We agreed to the hydrojet only.
When they came out, they hydrojetted the pipes and told us a pipe was under water. They told their supervisor, who in turn told us we needed work done that would cost upwards of $15,000! This supervisor then proceeded to arrange for the work to be done the following Monday, and we hadn't even given them the go-ahead for the job! On top of that, he kept texting my wife trying to pressure her into approve that job.
I texted him immediately and told him that if he had something to tell us, he can text me. I also told him we were going to get a second opinion. As it turned out, the hydrojetted the pipe connected to the septic tank and overflowed it, which is the pipe that was under water! The guy from the second company (the second opinion) is the one who told us this, and said we needed to call a septic company to pump it out.
We did just that and saved $14,725! We also found out that the people from Acree dug up parts of our backyard didn't fill the holes back up! Whatever you do, DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY! EDIT: The manager called and said that guy had been terminated because he had done this before, and he offered to give us half our money back, so I'm increasing this review.

I hired this company a month ago to fix my main plumbing line. They had someone out the day I called which I was extremely grateful for. I was told my a rep that the job would be done in a week. I was kind of surprised considering it was the week of Christmas, but great, I wasn't going to complain. I got updated when someone was coming out to begin work. Awesome.
I paid after day 2 and that is when communication completely stopped. No one said "your plumbing is good to go" so I had to call the office to make sure I could use anything in my house. Again, silence after that. I still have a 30-40ft trench going through my yard. It has been a month since they came to dig it and I still have no idea if/when it will be done.
I have called the office twice a week to see what is going on because no one calls me. I have been told it failed inspection, then it passed inspection, then it didn't pass but an inspector was going to come out again and it would pass. I still have no idea if the work they did at my house has passed inspection and if/when they will be back to fill in the trench.
I still have $8-10k of additional work that I agreed to that I wish could be refunded. This company has had zero communication. I have been told multiple times that someone will call and no one does. I paid this company over $20k for these repairs and can't get the courtesy of a phone call to tell me where we stand with the work.

I'm a renter, but I handle all home repairs, as the homeowner is elderly and lives in the northeastern part of the country while the home is in the Tampa, FL area. I am basically the "property manager" in addition to being the renter, and have handled all home and major appliance repairs for him during over 15 years of tenancy. Acree flatly refused to work on my AC unit unless I was the owner of the property.
That also means they will do no work on any location which has a management company or property manager. This is absolutely ridiculous! I have NEVER had that happen before, in all the time I've lived in this house (as stated, over 15 years). I would give Acree ZERO stars, if I could,

******* EDIT: After reading this review and filing a BBB claim I was refunded $500 and I will be using other services from now on. I had a leak in old piping under my house. From the time the first technician Luis came out til the job was complete everyone was very professional and efficient. I had to have my whole house repiped. Kody, Junior, Isaiah & Steve all were wonderful to work with and very respectable of my house. They moved what needed to be moved and moved it all back when they were done.
Even the sales guy Marty was very accommodating and answered all my questions. Once everything was complete, the inspection passed with flying colors and Cameron was more than accommodating to get all the paperwork needed in order for the county. I would highly recommend them and will continue to use them as needed!

The only reason I have these clowns 1 star is because zero stars was not an option. Completely dishonest business and run away as fast as you can. These guys did everything they could to convince my elderly mother that she needed a complete drain pipe replacement for the entire house at a cost of $60,000 (yup that is not a typo). Good thing I got a second opinion just to realize that half of the pipe they planned on replacing was pvc pipe and NOT the corroded cast iron pipe that they said was about to completely fail any minute. Called a reputable company and completely fixed the problem for a small fraction of the Acree estimate. These guys are either completely incompetent or crooks. Either way just plain horrible and stay away!

Cameron very shortly afterwards showed up ready to install. He was so awesome! He explained everything before installing my tankless water heater, thoroughly checked everything in my house to confirm it was performing as it was supposed to, and was incredibly friendly and professional. I’m so pleased with the customer care and service I received from this company.

I called and requested a quotation to 1) fix water hammering/leak and 2) map the septic line under the kitchen to help me with my remodeling. Two men came out 4/14/2021 and did not put on masks until I asked them. They reviewed the situation on the water hammering and informed me that it would be $1400, but that did not include patching the drywall, and they wanted to cut a hole in the ceiling instead of going in the attic.
When I asked about the kitchen water lines, they said that it is a different guy that quotes that. This didn't stop them from taking my check for the quotation, however I never got the quote on the underground pipe location. Further, they did not offer to deduct the quotation fee from the $1400.

Justin Bowman just left my house and is the best. I was on the verge of tears worried about what to do with our air conditioning unit as it’s covered in mold. He took really good care of us. He is super friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and we just felt extremely comfortable with him in our home. Thanks for all you did Justin!

I have a service contract with the company and I'm confused. Tech comes out for my twice a year maintenance, at the end of the day, and I think he's going to service my unit. I'm told he's only there for a "wellness check" First time I heard that from the company. No cleaning the unit only flushing the drain line and checking everything out. I was told a full service would take about 3 hours I guess he didn't have the time. I thought I was paying for that? Maybe I'm Confused.

Based on original experience and most recent service call, level of service and overall commitment to see their customers satisfied is unparalleled. Particularly impressed by Jonathan, one of the managers. Consistently kept me up to date on resolution and went out of his way to ensure my family and I were taken care of. In addition, the plumbers who came on site, Daniel and Dominick were equally fantastic.

The company claims to be open until 11 PM and it is now 6:35PM. The receptionists cannot help merely just take phone numbers. Only had a question about why the thermostat that was installed cannot regulate temperature until turned on unlike an Emerson. Technician said it was the same as an Emerson but the company name was added. I see why 2 stars were given. Am not a fan of 2 hour windows but if you insist on them do not call twice and show up later than expected especially without calling a third time. Hard to find decent service nowadays. Guy was nice and efficient but that thermostat is not an Emerson.

Jahn from Acree Air visited my home today. Very polite, very efficient. He identified needs of my HVAC system, including replacement of the air handler filter and the elimination of interior ceiling grill filters. He found some material inside the air handler and recommended three options in ultra violet filtration system and explained the cost and benefits of the system. I opted for the mid grade system and jahn was able to throw in coil cleaning and an electronic starter which I appreciated. Great job communicating.

The worst customer service. No sense of urgency. Promised call backs didn't always happen. While their level 2 service techs were good, the level 1 techs just didn't seem to have knowledge or training to be working by themselves. Parts were never in stock and took days to arrive. Was left without service on 3 separate occasions waiting for parts on a 3 year old system that they supplied and installed. Run away from this company.

The absolute best! Cameron and George found and fixed the leak in my bathroom. They were so professional, that we hired them to install an on demand hot water system. Awesome job! Neat, professional. Honestly there are not enough words to describe the professionalism. Lets not forget Adrian the electrician that was so fast we only caught a glimpse of him.

Last night our Acree installed air conditioner (that is only three years old) went out. We called their answering service twice and left voicemails. We are still here sweating and have yet to hear back. I'm disgusted with this company right now. I also Facebook messaged them. If they want better reviews they need to start standing by their promise of being accessible.

They were called and stated some one will call me back in 10 minutes we'll 3 hours later they came out for a plugged shower drain $79 service call and they wanted $438 to snake from the roof call some one out the next day 10 minutes and done $89 with service call will not recommend them at all if I could give a zero I would everyone is going there hard times the most I ever paid was $200 on the weekend kids clogged up with a toy Chirs plumbing came out and done within a hour

I have used since moving to Tampa in 2006. I have had small issues but overall, I can live with them. My family has had them put in 6 air conditioners, listened to them when they oversold extensive duck work in three homes! Funny we must pick high end homes with bad duct work. Lets touch base on their key customer program - don't buy it! Their response time is no different.
This week they have been to my home for the last three days and put in new top of the line as they swear buy. Oops! The techs aren't familiar with the units that they just installed. When I ask to speak to the owner or manage. forget it! Nobody at this company is accountable to their customers. I like the techs however this situation is a reflection of management and ownership. I hope Acree learns from this I will cool down but the key to growth is service

The worst company I have ever dealt with. I should have my head checked for still dealing with them. It's always something with these guys. They are never on time with the 2 hour window. If your lucky enough, you may get a call several minutes prior to the window ending for a reschedule. That was not the case today. After the 2 hour window passing, I had to reach out to them.
Their excuse was that they tried calling us to reschedule. This never happened. The worst part of all this is that todays appointment was a reschedule from 2 weeks ago where they forgot to bring my filters. And even worse, that appointment was a reschedule from a previous appointment that canceled last minnute causing my wife to be late to work. I get all of this for 14.99 a month as part of the acree air club. For only 14.99 per month, you too can be disappointed and left to feel that your time is not important.

Whatever you do, if you're looking for a new air conditioner, don't use this company! We bought a brand new air conditioner two years ago, and have had multiple problems with it. Recently we got her air conditioner cleaned, they charged us 270, after they left the air conditioner stopped working, they had to come back and put more Freon in, and said there may be a clog that they wanted to charge us 1000 for.
We then got a second opinion from another company, they said a two year old air conditioner shouldn't be having these problems, they put it in very poorly, and they are going to charge us 575 to fix it.

Had kitchen counters done, with faucet and disposal removed from sink mounting. Wife called to have both reinstalled (I wasn't gong to be there).the faucet needed two existing water lines connected and a nut to secure the upper portion (quote: $175). The disposal was still connected to the power and drain, only needed resecured to the underside of the sink, all hardware in place (quote: $275).
When I questioned the high price on relatively simple jobs for approximately 10 minutes of work, the guy asked, "Well, how much to you want to pay?", then began working backwards quoting possible discounts and coupons. Um, that's not how it works. After using them for AC work in the past, I told him they just lost all my future business. Maybe they think people are stupid, but this was insulting.

Back to five stars, easily! The honeymoon continues. After a misunderstanding and conversations with ownership who really do care, Craig came out to our home today to inspect the system for its regular service. Some key points - absolutely on time, at the earlier part of the service window. A huge plus! Booties as usual to keep the floors clean plus a mask, a huge plus as well.
Totally respected our space and social distancing. Craig checked both of our systems thoroughly. He also addressed my concern about one of the thermostats. His recommended solution is cost-effective and will probably result in a new wi-fi enabled thermostat. We also discussed the long-term health of our system and ductwork. I was impressed with his explanation of the options and there was absolutely no hard sell or any pressure at all.
Which makes it more likely we will do some work in the fall when it's not so hot. It was a pleasure to meet Craig and have him work on our system. Would be great if he's available next time we have routine service. Or another one of their well-qualified team members. I am comfortable highly recommending Acree.

Does not appear to be a very consumer-friendly business. I will take my business elsewhere based upon their suggestion. Clearly you can go to their Facebook, click on contact us, and be offer to pricing point that they do not honor as it is over 1 year old. I would save your time and effort and go with a more reputable company with better reviews.

I scheduled a tune-up appointment with Acree Air a week in advance only to get a call the night before to say they had to push my appointment back because my assigned tech had to go to a last minute appointment for a big client (i.e. more $$$ than my appointment). I rescheduled for another day. I requested the $55 tune up special but by the time the appointment was over the tech told me that I had over $2,000 worth of work that needed to be done.
My AC system was less than 5 years old and running perfectly fine. After a quick Google search of everything he discussed I learned that I didn't need to have the items completed immediately but he really tried to pressure me into buying it during the appointment. He also pressured me alot to purchase their maintenance plan. The whole appointment was more about selling products and services to me than performing my tune-up. I wouldn't recommend Acree Air to anyone unless they are willing to pay for overpriced unnecessary parts and services.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - NO ETHICS AND VERY SLICK I called Acree to inquire about getting a tuneup on my unit. They said I could get one for free and would send out a tech. Well, long story short, he wasn't a tech. He was a slick salesman. I ended up paying almost $12,000 for a unit that I found out should have cost under $5,000. He scared me, telling me there was a bunch of mold and I needed the unit replaced ASAP.
So the next day, my old unit was replaced. He also tried to pressure me into buying extended warranties and maintenance plans. After the salesman left, I read through the paperwork. There were so many mistakes. The wrong customer name was written on the paperwork, and even though I declined the maintenance plan, he signed me up for it. I tried several times to contact Acree, to get some straight answers. I was just given the runaround. Lesson learned the hard way. Learn from my mistake. There are plenty of reputable air conditioning companies. Acree is NOT one of them.
