Scheduled PM on a split unit, performed on 04/19/2022. Total charge was 119.90 for service. Stated that everything was clean and in good working condition. Advice capacitor may need replacement n the future. Was very thorough on his notes on invoice Problem now is there was a leak so I called my Home Shield, tech stated coils in attic were filthy, causing the leak, now had to pay for coils and refrigerant of 2400.00.
Home Shield does not cover refrigerant. Spoke with Tiffany yesterday at Adams, extremely rude, hung up on me stated there will be no refund. This tech NEVER entered my house. ONLY serviced and inspected outdoor units. Falsified his documentation, and Adams had the nerve to call me a liar stating he did go into my home. FYI, the owner did call and speak with my bother, promised he would speak with the tech and get back with us. NEVER did. So disappointed and extremely irritated for being ignored and called a liar by Adams Refrigeration.

I have used Adams Refrigeration for over 20 years. Simply put, they are the best. I once had a problem in August and called at around 6:30 on a Sunday morning planning to leave a message. The owner answered the phone and had someone at my house around 10 a.m. to fix the problem! Not sure that would ever happen anywhere else. I had a very good customer experience with Adam's. I got a good price on a new AC / heating system and profession and friendly service from the installers. And very fast service, which has been a challenge in 2021. I've had to replace older units in other homes through the years so I can compare them and Adam's were very good. I would use them again, but hope I don't need too.

We have been using Adams Refrigeration since around 2015, and highly recommend this company. In particular, the service tech that we always ask for, is Jeremy Stevens. We can't say enough complementary things about him. He really knows his stuff and is a real asset to Adams. He is extremely through and is quite meticulous when he's out here on a service call. Whenever we have any questions, he takes the time to answer them. It's always easy to book an appointment with Adams, and they are always punctual.

Responded within 3 hours to my home and worked on the system to make it operational and then ordered the necessary parts to correct the problem permanently. The technician was very nice, we had him come out for a diagnostic. The gentleman told us our motor blower went out and it would $1300 for repair. When we had our family come out to replace the $300 motor. Turns out the transformer was bad and our motor was completely fine. Unfortunately we paid $120 for a false diagnosis. Glad we didn't pay the $1300 and did more investigating ourself.

I like that the servicemen arrived on time he worked to find out what her problem was, he couldn't fix it alone because he needed to pull a thermostat wire up to the unit, he said he'd see us the next day. it turned out it was a day that they were closed, but since he had promised that's he would see us the next day, he was here and brought a helper to get the thermostat wire pulled through and got the refrigeration fixed.
I will definitely use him again and tell my neighbors if asked, because people ask me all the time about who to call or if I know someone for different problems. In fact my neighbor recommended Adams Refrigeration to me, and I will definitely recommend them.

We called Adam's refrigeration to inspect the two HVAC units in the home we wanted to purchase. They did they inspection for $120 and told us the units worked without problem. Not even a month into owning the home, we called them out to perform a routine cleaning and maintenance of the units. We were told one unit had a clogged drain pipe that they flushed during this maintenance.
About 2 weeks after that, that particular unit stopped cooling. Adam's returned to the house and found that the unit had frozen over and that water was overflowing the drainage pan. They claimed to have flushed this drainage pipe again during this visit. A week later, I called a different company out to come service this HVAC because we were still having problems.
The drainage pan was overflowing still when the new company opened it up and there was extensive water damage. The second company had to remove a portion of the drainage pipe that had calcified over and created a complete blockage. There is no way that the technician from Adam's would have been able to flush this line, though they claimed to have done it twice.
I called Rex, the owner of Adam's Refrigeration to tell him all of this and explained what had happened. I was upset that we had spent over $1000 with his company for services that I don't believe they ever actually performed. Our HVAC was always left in the same subpar condition and I was never notified that the pump was still leaking water all over. Rex listened to me and told me he would look into and get back to me the next day.
Of course, no phone call the next day or any day after that. I have called him back three times after, but he refuses to take my call or return my messages. This company is unprofessional and scammed us out of $1000.

Best company to call! Honest work from a trustworthy company! Highly recommend you give them a call for any service or repair. Our technician (Jeremy) was very friendly and knowledgeable. Here was here faster than expected which was appreciated especially with these hot temps. Jeremy was very nice to our children and answered their (many) questions. When selecting a service business you want to know they are going to do it right the first time. However, we all know businesses are staffed by humans and humans make mistakes under the best of circumstances. W e have used Adams for both service and a complete install of two new extremely efficient complete AC/furnace units from Carrier. You are going to get on time technicians with fast and efficient service and the one thing that didn't go the best in the install was made right above and beyond our expectations. With knowledge/skill and customer service like that you CANNOT go wrong!

Just had our whole HVAC system (2 units) replaced by Adams. We can't say enough good about Marcus, Chip, Antonio and the guys. They were ALL professional, knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. They spent 2 days making sure our new system was installed correctly, fixing all that was wrong with old installation 13 years ago. They were super and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this independently owned and operated company to anyone.

Our AC repair company flaked out on us when we had an emergency weekend repair. United Refrigeration referred us to Adams Refrigeration and within 45 min-1 hr their tech was at our house making the repair. The price was super steep and I questioned the tech if that was the best deal to which he replied the prices are set and can't be changed.
We reluctantly agreed and he was in and out within 15-20 min with a $336.95 paid invoice. I was unsettled about those charges and after investigating the part ranges from $20-60 (Adams Refrigeration cost for the part ranges from $45-59). This called for a trip to their office to talk to the owner/manager, Russ. I explained my dilemma and after a review of the paperwork and price book that is used, Russ agreed to charge me the secondary repair charge, returned my check to me and charged my credit card $246.95 which is much more reasonable for what was done.
I stand by a company that does the right thing and they have certainly earned my repeat business. The tech didn't have another part that our AC needed and Russ even gave that to me for free for the trouble. Far exceeded my expectations and earned my business. Thank you for your honesty and integrity!

We bought an AC Tune-Up deal online. The guy came out and told us we needed a new outdoor fan motor, and it was going to be almost $750. We called another company to get another quote because the quote they gave us was above the high end according to an online Pricing Guide. The second company inspected the unit and told us the motor was fine. We almost wasted $750 repairing something that wasn't broken for way more than we should have paid even if it was. We will never use this company again. Update: The second opinion was wrong and two weeks later my AC is broken. We still think the repair estimate was high.

We initially had a good experience with Adams Refrigeration when they installed our A/C two years ago. They have been out twice a year since then to do check-ups. This last check-up we got a last minute cancelation from them. The appointment ended up being rescheduled a couple of times because of other emergency situations. Two weeks after the tech performed the check-up we woke up to our thermostat not working at all.
We assumed this would be a warranty issue as it is a new unit and they are the only ones that have touched it. It was a simple fix of a loose wire, but they still charged us even though it was their work. I will not be using a company that does not warranty their work.

Had a great experience with this company I had an emergency over the weekend with my ac unit not working. I checked with the better business bureau and Angie's list and this company cam highly recommend. As I found out for good reason. The tech was knowledgable and friendly in less than an hour I had my ac unit blowing cold air again. I would definitely use this company again.

I have nothing but good things to say about Adams. They can always make it here within the hour and have always been honest and upfront about repairs and cost. We have been using them for at least eight years now and I would highly recommend them. They are very professional, arrive within the time they say they will and will stay until the job is completed.

Let me start with I am a business owner, and I know how important reviews are. I wouldn't write a bad review unless I received really horrible service. Today I was referred to Adams Refrigeration by Goodman brand air conditioners. Goodman had the part I needed but I no longer have a contractors license and they do not sell retail. Goodman had explained to me that they do business with Adams refrigeration and that I could buy the part from Adams retail.
The woman at Goodman said I could pay Adams over the phone and pick up the part at the Goodman location. I contacted Adams refrigeration and pressed option 2 for parts. A person named John answered, I started repeating what the women at Goodman had told me and I immediately get confrontation ,attitude and push back from John like this was not possible, so I start to repeat what the woman at Goodman had said, which she made sound very simple. John gets really snotty and says with the most sarcastic tone, I don't know I have to check, you haven't even given me a part number.
I tell John there is no reason to get pissy I am just trying to buy a fan blade and he responds ok guy, and puts me on hold. When John returns he says "your special price for today is 146.20$. It sounded very high, but I said ok and we ended our conversation. The part is a condenser fan blade. After I get off the phone I thought back how he said "my special price", so called a friend who is a HVAC tech to tell him the price John quoted and he says no the guy is trying to rip you off.
He makes a few calls around and makes it so I can buy direct from Goodman. The part Adams refrigeration or better yet John was trying to give "the special price of 146.20" cost only 34.39$ total wholesale. I am a business owner and I understand a reasonable mark up but very few industries have a 325% mark up and I know HVAC parts are not one of these industries.
I would assume John is an employee, because I could never imagine a business owner talking down to a customer the way John does. If ever found out that one of my employees treated one my customers in this manner, I would terminate them on the spot. As for Adams as a company I can not speak of they might be a great company but after my experience earlier today I would never attempt to do any business with them ever again.

I am an Adams customer due to a friend who'd been using them for years. My service with them started in 2002 and I have been nothing but satisfied with not only the skill and "manners" of the team, but also their willingness to "get me in the schedule" when there is an emergency. I have recommended the company to most of my friends and all of my family, we are all very pleased with the service and knowledge of each and every crew member we've been sent.
We have air conditioning, heater and evaporative cooler all purchased from and cared for by Adams. The few times I've asked them to go above and beyond, they've been right there for me. Thanks!

This company has been very good to me ever since I had my new unit installed two years ago. The two minor issues I've had were rectified the same day. The most recent problem was with the thermostat itself, and I received a new one right away. The servicemen are professional and take the time to determine the problem. I chose Adams Refrigeration because of its stellar rating with the BBB, and I'm glad I did. I highly recommend this company for all your needs.
