McCullough Heating & Air Conditioning

McCullough Heating & AC came to my Austin residence on 6/17/22 and replaced my thermostat after doing a thorough diagnostic check. Was able to get an appt on short notice, very pleased w/ that since it's extremely hot this week and my A/C was not working correctly! Will definitely use them again if needed and recommend them to neighbors.

Everyone on the team, from sales to installation, was knowledgeable, professional, and cared about quality. Chris, the sales lead, was able to address all of my questions and concerns and provided guidance on the correct system and installation process for me. He even helped find and install a temporary replacement part for my old system while we waited for the install a few days later. Bruce and Thomas, the installers, were curtious and resourceful. During the installation, they discoverred a tweak that saved me a few hundred dollars while meeting my requirements. The system is fantastic and I couldn't be happier.

Wow! This is an amazing company. Everyone we have interacted with from McCullough has been professional, punctual, knowledgeable, and generally just nice. We had just moved into our new house in Austin when the AC broke down during one of the super hot weeks back in April. The McCullough team was responsive when we reached out for a quote, Chris came out and gave us 3 quotes and we were able to schedule the installation the very next day.

The team they sent worked so hard in the heat to get us set up (I was 8 months pregnant and really anxious to get the AC up and running!). Extra things they did that were awesome: 1.when we had a minor issue after install, they sent Kyle out at 8 pm on a Friday (!) to take a look and he quickly solved the problem; 2. a few weeks out after install they sent a team member to do a quality control check to make sure everything was running smoothly! 3.

They sent us warm yummy cookies as a little thank you for working with them! You will not regret working with McCullough HVAC, they are such a relief and pleasure to work with, no stress, no hassle, no BS, just reliability and professionalism.

Desmond was great! He called when he was 30 minutes out so it gave us ample time to prepare for him. He was also really accommodating to my schedule, and called to give me an update even though I was not at home. 10/10 would totally recommend! These guys are fantastic. Replaced a bulb for a few hundred bucks instead of the entire part for a few thousand, like our old service provider tried to do. Then they came back to install a new return vent, very reasonable, very fast, very courteous. EJ was a pleasure to have in our home, and did excellent work. They are DEFINITELY our service provider from now on!

I recently purchased a new AC & furnace from McCullough and had them install it. Overall I am very pleased - they recognized some existing issues with our setup (we needed another return air, insufficient duct work) and recommended those changes. Chris was very knowledgeable in walking us through the options and what would work best. The install team also seemed very qualified.

I should also give a shoutout to Kyle, a tech with McCullough, who always does a great job with our maintenance work. The new system is night and day better than our 15-year old one.

Their office and dispatch were awesome. I would totally consider using them again in the future. Easy to deal with, scheduled fast, and showed a lot of care in keeping an appointment. Had them out to clean a condensation line. While it was cleared enough to keep going, they also said it needed to be replaced b/c they could not completely clear it.

They still charged full price. $235 seems overpriced for this service when they weren't able to complete it. Also, I originally asked for a float switch install - that was another $200 on top of the cleaning so I didn't approve that service. I was trying to ask the tech some questions to understand why it could not be completely cleared, how he attempted to clear it (chemical, snake, etc).

Eventually I gave up trying to ask the question b/c he kept interrupting. -- FOLLOW UP BELOW After speaking with them again, they sent me a revised quote for $277 over the originally quoted price for adding a float switch. I changed the 4-star review to a 3 and probably won't call them in the future.

Last week my heater died just before the snow event we had on Sunday. We updated the old quote and had the new system installed on Saturday just in time for the event. The team worked 10 straight hours to get us up and heating. McCullough definitely goes the extra mile to take care of their customers.

Just had my Comfort Club checkup and am so glad I am a member! On time, Great service at a fair price. Could not ask for more! Glad I have these folks in my corner.

Never a bad experience dealing with McCullough, they know what they are doing and they do it well.

This company not only gives you good customer service, but they are also big contributes to the community. Giving back speaks highly about someone in my book.

I highly recommend McCullough recommending Chris F the technician came out today and was very patient and helpful with solving my problem. It was so refreshing having good old-fashion customer service. Chris F took his time explaining his inspection and recommendations. I felt very comfortable with Chris’s knowledge recommendations and I will be calling in the morning to have the work done. I would definitely recommend McCullough Heating & Air
