David and his crew at Air of Houston was the only company I could find that would provide a competitive bid within my budget. David took the time to explain my options in detail and worked with me to pick the right system for my needs. His installation crew was on-time, hardworking, and answered all my questions. Very responsive and always provided honest opinions and competitive quotes. I like that they clean up well after servicing my units. They brought their own mats and wore boot covers when entering my house which is a plus to me as I have white carpet. Never had any issues with their work nor installation for both my HVAC units. Wonderful company and will continue to call them for future needs. Thanks a Bunch!

We were referred to Air of Houston when our service provider of 25 years passed away. One of our heaters wasn't working, and we needed service right away. David was responsive, informative, and so helpful! We decided to upgrade all of our old equipment, NOT because I was pressured into a sale, but because it was right for us. Let me add that we have very high standards for our service providers.
The technicians they sent were amazing! They were a delight to have in the house, great with our dog, spotted a hole in our roof, and we're exceptionally clean. Our attic has never looked so good! David, who also has high standards, came after to inspect the work. Air of Houston isn't going to be the cheapest provider, but the quality of their work is outstanding! I'm a customer for life! I'd give them 10 stars if I could!

NO I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM. Here are the facts: 1) The owner David Bunch came out to replace a capacitor. 2) It took him only 15 minutes. My house was only a 20 minute drive from his office, so I was surprised when he charged me $395, and paid by check. 3) After he left, I took a picture of the part and looked up the price online. It costs less than $30. 4) I called his office to ask why I was charged so much.
The office manager, Sandra Bunch told me she would have him call me back. 5) A few hours later, David Bunch called back later in the day with Sandra Bunch also on the phone. He told me that he charges "two and a quarter" for replacing a capacitor, ie. $225. He said he would refund me the difference between what I paid, $395 and his usual price $225 6) Soon after that, Sandra Bunch sent me an email saying that instead they would mail me a refund check for the service fee of $69.95. 7) I emailed back informing her that was not what was agreed. 8) She emailed back telling me that their flat fee for capacitors was $325, not what he said in the phone call. 9) They have have refused to refund ANYTHING.

Our AC quit working properly just a few days from Christmas. Family and friends will be here so we needed our system running properly. Especially with 80+ degree temps in December! We called Air of Houston based upon their good reviews. They worked us in the same day and took care of our issue at a good price. I highly recommend. Thank you.

I had to move on after using them for over 20 years. They were always responsive, which was great, but I got tired of them telling me it was my responsibility to contact them to schedule my biannual preventative maintenance. Then when something went wrong they would say it was my fault for not doing the maintenance. The final nail in the coffin was when they came out to fix my AC, neglected to clear the primary drain line, and moved my drain pan causing water to ruin my ceiling.
The owner, David, blamed it on me and refused to fix my ceiling. I'm done with them. They had my house, my mother's house, and my office. David bragged to me about his 6000 square foot home so I guess he doesn't need my business.

I am so glad that I came across this company! I had received quotes from three other companies and I was beginning to feel discouraged with the amount of money I was quoted to spend. I came across Air of Houston on Yelp and decided to give them a call. From my first conversation with Sandra I felt more at ease, she was very polite and straightforward while explaining to me what they could do.
The quote they provided was much better than any other I had received and Sandra even ran numbers with me to see what financing option would work best. (YES they have options!) Even better, when the technician came out to review everything before install he explained a way that I could save even more money! The day of install, the gentlemen showed up as promised and were also very polite, work was completed quickly and everything was explained to me.
They reviewed paperwork with me and answered all of my questions. I am now sitting in my nice cool home and I am extremely impressed with the professionalism, affordability and integrity of this company. I will definitely tell others!

Dave was wonderful. We had 6 quotes from various local companies, all recommended similar units. However, Dave was more informative on the discussions and came across as the one to trust. He ask what our wants were and what we expected from a new system. He came in, examined our old system, and gave us a quote based on what we were looking at, as far as systems go.
There was NEVER A "well I can discount this and drop this to get you a good price" as we had with some other companies that came out. He gave us the rock bottom price from the start after telling us about the MFG rebates and the energy rebate. Now let me tell you about the install. High Class just like Dave! Wow! Very impressed. We discovered our a/c was not working at about 8:30 PM last night. The unit outside was not running at all. Found Air of Houston via Yelp, and they had awesome reviews so we called to make an appointment. They arrived by 10:30 AM this morning, and by 11:30 AM, our a/c was back up and running. They had to change out the capacitor.
While they were at it, they of course checked on everything else, added some refrigerant, and even gave us some advice about our filters. They were also very friendly and knowledgeable. We are very happy with their expertise and service. Would definitely recommend.

They were quick on the service but extreme in service cost. Technician Robert was there for no more than 10 minutes and 5 minutes of work at the most. Change a starting capacitor for $227.00. I showed him discount coupons and even my military retirement card. But he said he took off the service call fee. Best call another service provider.

We have used Air of Houston for 12 years and will continue to do so. Our first experience was when we bought our first house and the A/C stopped blowing cold in the dead of summer. The company that installed the unit on a " brand new house" advised that they could not get there until morning as it was after hours. Not only did Air of Houston come out that night but it was David the owner and another technician.
They found it was low on freon. They put some in and then proceeded to check out the entire unit from outside to in the attic. He was kind enough to only charge me for the freon and not an after hours call because he was near by from another call and I can only assume he saw how stressed out I was. We have used them every since for our preventative maintenance.
We sold that house and upon completion of our new home, I called Air of Houston to see if they would inspect the work on our new home. He could of sent an employee but he personally came out and spent a solid hour or so reviewing the work. He complimented the work of the other company and assured me we were ok. We will continue to use their services for regular maintenance to get the most out of our system. Thank you David and thank you to their office staff as they always go above and beyond for our needs. They treat us like we are family and not just a regular Joe.

We have been using Air of Houston for 6 years now and have no complaints. Twice, the owner of the company, David, saved us from misery. Within two weeks of moving into our new home, the AC broke, on a weekend, at night, and 105 degrees outside. We called multiple companies but no one would come out til we called Air of Houston. David personally came out and solved the problem.
Recently I woke to smell something burning outside my bedroom door. The AC unit was in the attic in the same area. When I initially called Air of Houston, I was told someone would be out the same day. Fearful of a fire, I called the fire department but after much searching, they could not find the source and said it was probably the AC unit. On the second call to Air of Houston, David responded.
He was at my home within 1/2 hour. He did not give up until he found the source. It was the doorbell transformer which is located in the same area. Thank you David for saving us twice! We will remain your loyal customers.

I am editing this review. There was an initial billing mishap but talking to David he not only corrected it but he made sure our Furnace was taken care of. I called in because of the positive reviews. The person answering the phone was really nice. The technician was courteous and the unit got repaired. I had to call David on a Friday evening as the unit was presenting a failure to which they attended immediately.

I have a shop where I rent commercial space. My landlord doesn't do anything when it comes to repairs or maintenance so when my Air conditioner that has never really worked stopped I knew it was going to be on me. I read reviews about David and his team and loved what I saw. They came out the same day to access the situation. I was beyond thankful for their help! Honest, fair and very helpful! I would recommend them to everyone! For personal use, they will be my go to!

Our condo inside unit was 40 years old. It was in need of a change. I called from their add on the gay yellow pages. We are a gay couple. The owner came, David, personally and gave us a quote on a new unit and install. He was very courteous. The guys came out on time per our appointment, They did a great job. Love our new unit. Put in a new slab for our unit as well. David also gave our old unit a freon burst till he came out the next week with no charge. That is how you take care of a customer and keep one for life. It's a real bummer when your A/C reaches the end of its life. Luckily, David and his team made the situation far less painful. David came out the same day I called to assess our needs for a new system. He recommended the units he thought we'd enjoy the most based on what we told him about our needs and budget. We got a fair price and some complimentary extras to boot.
The installation team were efficient, courteous and respectful of the house. David came out himself to ensure everything was working properly and even added insulation where we were missing it to ensure maximum energy efficiency.
