Weather Shield Air Conditioning

They deserve 10 stars, not 5. I had a problem with my AC for 2 years. I have called 3 or 4 other companies complaining about efficiency issues. My AC was essentially running constantly to maintain 80F in my house, which obviously was not normal. The other companies brushed off the problem, offered costly fixes. I was referred to Weathershield by a friend.

The wait time to have a tech come was minimal. The technician was extremely professional, listened to my problem, identified the fix pretty quickly but didnt stop there, he made sure it was the only problem and monitored the AC for a while to make sure it was working as designed. Somewhere else I would say it is a normal company, but sadly in South Florida I have to say it is an exceptional company since it is so hard to find people who take pride in their job and do it professionally. Christina is the office manager and runs a tight ship. She is amazing with her knowledge of the industry and ability to answer all questions and concerns. Service technicians are all top notch from Justin, John, George, Joseph, Jose and anyone I may have missed.

Decided to have my air ducts cleaned and I'm so glad I did. The cost was $245 for a 6 a/c vents including the handler. The company was very professional and on time. Two guys came in with the large machine and did the the job within an hour and a half.

They were on time, very professional and clean. I even had an unexpected power outage and the crew did their best and continue to work with flashlights to install the ducts. Fabulousl I have used Weathershield for a number of years now, and I love these folks. They are always so helpful and they are so conscientious and considerate when completing repairs or suggesting maintenance. Their prices are reasonable and competitive. The office staff is very helpful as are the technicians. About the ONLY thing I wish they would do is automatically schedule me for my semi-annual maintenance.

A buddy and I installed a new air conditioner in my home. It has never worked right. I called Argent and they sent a man out to fix it. He got it running right in under an hour. This guy was on time, honest and very knowledgeable. They are my company now. I highly recommend them. The whole family is comfortable and happy again!

They've been flawless at each service visit. They're always on time. They get the repairs done quickly. They charge a fair price. I can't thank them enough. Did an amazing job. Customized cement pad to fit pool pump etc. reconfigured attic unit which was a mess and kept leaking due to poor warranty service and incorrect set up (All Year Cooling). Amazing service, efficient and on time, would recommend to anyone. I have never received this level of service anywhere in the Miami area. The people answering the phone were exceptional, they were able to schedule service within 2 days, they were prompt and communicated when they would arrive in the morning, the guys who were sent to clean the air duct for the dryer in my apt were even super nice and professional.

I originally purchased my unit over a year ago from this company. My A/C bill for June 2020 was 75.27. The condo is a 2/2 about 1300 square feet. My A/C is set at 74 at all times. I use fans sometimes because I got used to that years ago. I like the wind. The unit stopped working on a Friday & I had prompt service on Saturday. It just required maintenance. Excellent service & tech. Good thing I had my ceiling fans. Perfect.

My air conditioner stopped cooling. I went online and found this company. I made an appointment and the technician came out right away. He was very thorough and explained everything so I could understand the problem. Fixed my air conditioner, Thank goodness, lol and the best part is that the repair was not expensive. The staff is great. I will most definitely recommend and keep using them.

What a major disaster! Run the other way! My air-conditioning was not running cold enough. Weathershield was in the building and one of our building staff told me that maybe they could look at my unit. So, the guy came and said my unit needed excess refrigerant removed, the coils cleaned and the drain line unclogged. They sent this guy the next day who arrived at 9:30 am.

I left him here go to meeting, came back at like 2:00 pm and he was still here and said he was not happy because air not running cold. He was in and out like 100 times. But then he left for over 1 hour so I was not sure he was even coming back. it was about 5:00 pm Crazy! So around 5:00 I called the office and said that my air still not working and guy disappeared.

The dispatcher told me they were going to send a supervisor. In the meantime, the guy comes back and announces that my air was fine. I get on the step ladder and put my hand to the vent and look at the guy and say this is not blowing cold. He looked at me and said, "I know, you are right". So, he putters around like another 1/2 hour and then says he's leaving and someone else coming.

The guy from the first day said don't worry, I'll have this working in 15 minutes. I leave come back like 1 hour later and he is just sitting in air con room and I ask what is happening? He said how long was the air running today. I said a few hours. He then said that the other guy took out too much coolant so he had to add some back. He said the compressor was so hot he had to wait for it to cool down.

So let's say about another 1/2 hour passes and then he announces that my compressor is completely shot. So, I call the office and relay what I had just been told saying I think your incompetent service man from earlier ruined my compressor. The company calls me back about 1 hour later and denies that any of that happened nor did their person tell me about the coolant issue being too low. So they are bad news.

Nearly 4 years ago, I moved into my house. It needed 3 new A/C units. After a bunch of research and a bunch of quotes, I choose Weathershield because they gave me a good price and had a great reputation. The installation was flawless, on time and on budget. I couldn't be happier with their work. Then, less than a month later, my house was hit by a tornado.

Two of the units were damaged in the storm. I called Weathershield and they showed up less than an hour later, fixed the two units immediately, and didn't charge me at all. This past weekend, one of the units stopped working. So, I called Weathershield again. They showed up less than two hours later, immediately fixed the problem (a simple faulty fuse), and the charge was very minimal. The service man, was nice and very professional. I wish all companies in South Florida could be as professional, fast, and reasonable as Weathershield.

We had to replace our AC unit last year and after much research, Weathershield was highly recommended. It was true, they were on time very professional, and very fast. Recently the unit felt like it wasn't cooling, we called Weathershield and they were here within in hours. Everything was under warranty and the tech was AWESOME. If only Weathershied did plumbing or electrical. I would only use them exclusively. You can feel very comfortable using Weathershield.
