UPDATE: Second time we have used FF Kling. This time it was for HVAC repair. Second review same as the first. Great service, professional and timely. FF Kling is our go to for our services. Thank you again for exceeding our expectations! Last Year: Needed a water heater replaced. Called on Tuesday and received an estimate on the phone. Scheduled service to replace water heater that Thursday.

The repair was done timely, professionally and within $100 of estimate over the phone. I will certainly remember this family owned business when making my choice for any repairs in the future!

The gentleman that came out, acted very professional. He was very honest and upfront about his capabilities. I would definitely recommend using them. Good people!

Great service came very fast and fixed my AC Service: Repair AC

Worst experience ever. I tried to give this ma and pa outfit some business and they ruined my plumbing in my $300k+ house. They then tried to charge me hundreds for their mistake and then tried to refer me to Roto Rootor to correct the problem who would have charged me hundreds more. With an argument they come to find out they installed and connected pipes for a new sink to a deadend capped pipe.

Then blamed it on the builders that they got confused. Then still tried to weasel out of fixing it until finally they fixed it only after buckets of water poured out from the busted cap they pushed through. Their repair job looks like a child's macaroni project. I'm appalled. I'm paying for another plumber to inspect their work and coming after them. BEWARE! These people know nothing! Dont ruin your home!

Woke up in morning with no water. Called another plumber and they were here for 10 minutes. Said they would be back. Late in the day, we called them again and said it would be another day. Really? Called Kling and they were here promptly. Called later and said they were swamped that day but because they are professional took care of our problem. Had water same day.

Needed our hot water heater replaced. Tenants without hot water. Most places would not give an estimate over the phone and wanted to schedule an appointment a week out. Called F.F. Kling. Received an estimate over the phone on Tuesday. By Thursday morning, we have a new hot water heater installed. The installation was done timely, professionally and within estimate! If we need services again, I'll be contacting F.F. Kling first!

This was the first time I ever used Klings Plumbing's. The office personnell is very helpful and pleasant. I felt when they came in to quote me a price for taking out my old vanity and medicine cabinet and replacing it with new ones it came in lowballed because at the end of the job The cost skyrocketed. Be sure you get itemized costs, I was never told about an $80 service fee that was tacked onto my bill that I had to pay.

I had also specifically told the job estimator to keep my costs to a certain point and then call me BEFORE you order the item instead he gave me the price of the unit after he ordered it so I felt obligated to except it, including I was told I would NOT be charged for the trip out to install it because of my package deal they were doing. After my investigation they charged me double over the price of the unit.

The field Plumber told me they only have one plumber, he had taken a leave and the work that I was promised scheduled to have done, the estimator canceled my work done in the middle of the job and left me hanging. Nobody called to apologize or fix the situation. On the bill I asked the plumber not to do a specific job at the house he went ahead and did it I was charged right they did take it off my bill.

Critical: Professionalism Total rip off wanted me to pay 345.00 to hook up a hot water heater that was under warranty. Went to Lowe's and bought a new one for 323.00 and hooked it up myself. Saved some money. Don't call them.

See reviews under "Kling's FF & Sons"- this is the same company. They just have 2 different listings in Yelp. Probably because the other listing has mostly negative reviews.

Our water heater went up. We called several companies but no one could install one for several days. Called Kling and Sons. They had a technician here in an hours time. He replaced the water heater the same day. Thank you Kling & Sons. You will always be the one we call.

Had to call twice about my water heater leaking. The first call was a holiday weekend. But once I made my second call, they were here in less than 15 minutes, and less than 2 hours to have the unit installed and working. Not disappointed at all, would have out for any future plumbing/heating needs.

Quick, reliable and friendly. They even made financing for our new HVAC system easy this past May. They brought a tablet along to help with quote, scheduling and financing. This company followed through on all that was promised. Very credible and responsive company.

DO NOT TRUST! CARBON MONOXIDE LEAK IN MY HOUSE DO TO BAD INSTALL Their improper install caused chimney damage and sickness, as the boiler company clearly states in instructions. We have had the chimney failure and sickness. If I turn it on again we could DIE! I hired them to put in a new boiler, water heater, toilet and garbage disposal. A very expensive job.

They did not install boiler according to manufacturer recommendations and my boiler has been shut down due to CARBON MONOXIDE leak. We have no heat! The owner is happy with that and will not stand behind their work. Also called for them to check installation. He was in and out in 4 minutes, didn't touch anything, did not check the ventilation problem and billed $75.

I asked if he could help with something else since he charged me $75 for zero work and not doing what I called him out for and was told No! Be careful for your safety! They will not stand behind their work.

Do not use! Before they arrived at my door I had told them not to replace the oil filter and nossle since I had just replaced it on my boiler. After an hour they told me the boiler was too old to fix. The tech told me he didn't do anything to the boiler since it wasn't worth it because of the age. 15 days later i get a bill and they charged me $215 for a new nossle an oil filter they said they had put on. Boiler still does not work. Called the owner and got no where he just said to pay the bill.

Since this incident I have talked to a bunch of people and everyone had the same thing to say about them that they are a rip off! Even other heating and air companies told me the same. Will never use again!

I've used FF Kling & Sons three times now. The first two times were for a general cleaning of my heating unit, then again for my air conditioning unit. Today, I used them for a plumbing problem in my bathroom sink. Each time, I've gotten prompt response from the person who answers the phone, and the technicians I've gotten to do the service calls have been polite, considerate and have done a good job.

The technicians have also been very good about explaining what they did and cleaning up after themselves (especially with the plumbing, which was VERY messy--but Michael did a good job cleaning it up). Each time, the technicians have been there when they said they would, and even called beforehand to let me know they were on their way. I can't speak at to price (since I don't have anything to compare it to), but as an example, to have my bathroom drain unclogged (which meant the technician took apart the drains under the sink--since we'd already tried to clear those lines ourselves and we knew the clog wasn't there--used a heavy-duty snake to unclog the drain, then carefully put back all the lines and checked to make sure they weren't leaking, then cleaned up his mess), it cost $69 for the service call, plus $89 for the technician's time.

He was finished in less than 30 minutes. (Did I mention I called that morning, and the technician came the same day?) Overall, I'm very happy with the work done by the technicians at Kling & Sons and will keep them on my list of local businesses that I'll continue to do business with.

I needed to find out what was going on with our furnace since it was shutting off when it was coldest out -in the single digits and windy. I woke up chilled with less the 65 degrees in the house and had to trip the breaker. We called for them to check on it and they said it was a combination of the sensor and the filter which stopped the furnace from keeping the temp at the specified level.

I was pleased with the courtesy of explaining the problem and the prompt attention and customer service - I recommend Kling's if you need someone for Heating or AC servicing.
