Williams Service Company was opened in 1979 by Mr. Gary Williams in East York. The Deroche brothers, Tom and Bob bought Williams Service Company in January of 1991. Tom was currently employed at C.C. Kottcamp as a Service Tech while Bob the younger brother worked as a public accountant at Philip R. Friedman & Associates LLC.

Williams Service Company is a full-service HVAC fabricator and installer of HVAC systems, ductwork, piping and accessories. HVAC Service Technicians will be required to perform skilled work in the repair, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment systems. Under the direction of the service manager a technician will install, diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain and service a wide variety of mechanical equipment.

I had a great experience working with Jeff and team to have a new air conditioning unit installed and also installation of duct work and vents. They were on time, professional, and very friendly each day that they were here. They got me on the schedule very quickly and were very easy to contact with any questions. The price also seemed very reasonable.

NEVER EVER CALL THEM! NOT WORTH IT! they are fraud. I had called them to work my AC unit, tech did not have any clue about it. Gave me estimate of $1500.00 which was too high. And told me other parts will be Extra. At that time I was sure, I was not going to pay that much. I called someone else to repair and it cost me 1/3 of what he was asking for. Stay away from the company.

Technicians have always been friendly and done work right the first time. The issue is with billing. If you use them, get a written estimate in advance including materials. They charge 100% over retail for materials. When questioned they claimed it was industry standard. Not true. Called owner to discuss the ethics behind this mark up and he didn't return my phone call.

Inept or frauds. Technician told me my compressor was shot. I had another company evaluate my unit and the coils just needed a cleaning. Williams is still trying to charge me for this "repair" where they unplugged and took the sticker off of my compressor. They have no concern that my family was left without AC for 5 of the hottest days this summer. The owner Bob Deroche himself told me to "sit down and shut up" when I went there to complain about this incident.

3 service calls in 1 mild winter on new furnaces they installed 5 years ago. Asked about a discount for it taking them so long - I have them on my answering machine laughing that calls were months and months apart and had nothing to do with each other and I should probably just pay the bills. 1st visit they cleaned, 2nd visit we were told to buy a different kind of filter than what they put in, 3rd visit he found a problem with a wire! How do you have 3 visits in one winter that were months and months apart? Their winters are longer than mine.

Called them out 5 times for the same problem on the same unit within a month's time. After it went down the 6th time, I called another company that found out what the problem was. I refused to pay for the labor on the last bill due to their complete incompetence. They turned around and put my furnishings up for Sheriff sale. - Prompt service, but totally inept and shady.
They do not stand by their work. Talked with several other Restaurant owners as well as the constable that served the execution sale and they all have had similar experiences with Williams. Use at your own risk.
