PHA sent out a great duo to do the work to install our whole house generator. Johnny Childress and RJ Gray were our installers for our Generac whole house generator. They showed up on time, were pleasant while doing their work, cleaned up after themselves, were very professional and kept us informed of each step of the process. They explained the different actions they were taking like running cables and wires, adding control panels to the outside of our home, placement of the Generac system, and putting in the propane line.

They updated our electrical panel inside the house to bring it up to current code. The updated our range/oven wire and outlet plugs to bring it up to current code. They were a pleasure to work with.

They quote on the very high end and they DO know what they're doing, so the quality of the work is excellent.but don't be surprised if they pocket the factory rebate. We won't be doing any more business with them.

We have been using PHA for 25 years and they are absolutely wonderful. We also use them at my work and the service commercially is just as good as residential. They are always courteous, clean and friendly. They are always there to help and do an outstanding job on everything they do. We just had a new unit installed at our new home and they worked very hard, were always kind and courteous and cleaned their work areas every day before they left.

We had them put a new Trane unit in our other home 7 years ago and they did a fantastic job as always with installation and service over the years. I cannot recommend this company enough, they are absolutely amazing. A true company of integrity with a staff to match! Way to go PHA! A++++++

I rate this company a zero! I have been an established customer for three years. They have worked on our A/C unit numerous times and helped us out when it created water damage through the upstairs of our house. They have been to our house every year for our A/C troubles. However, this past visit a week and a half ago (9/5/18), I expressed our unit was having a leak problem and was unable to cool down the upstairs (we have two units, one for downstairs and one for upstairs).

The lady I spoke with to make this appointment was very RUDE. And kept telling me I'd be charged $45 if my unit had any ice on it. The tech said he didn't believe there is a leak; you are just out of refrigerant. And filled it up with 4LBS of refrigerant and said if we want to check and see if there is a leak then we'd have to pay $195 to just look for a leak, but he was pretty positive there was no leak.

As we had shown him pictures of the block of ice on the hose of the unit because it was in fact leaking! So we spent $300 for refrigerant for it to just leak out AGAIN and they do NOT guarantee their work on refrigerant. Go FIDGURE! I called and spoke with Sarah today (9/20/18), and she informed me that they couldn't come out to inspect the unit until Monday, because their weekends are reserved for emergencies only.

We all know it is hot and humid outside. So my upstairs has to stay at 90 degrees all weekend and we have to sleep downstairs on the couches (myself, husband, and seven children) because this is not an emergency and my family spending $300 for 4LBS of refrigerant to just leak out from now until then. I will NEVER recommend them again! At this rate I could have purchased a brand new unit.

Have used Peninsula Heating & Air for past five or six years for service. Our first use was to diagnose and fix a unit installed by another company that had us on emergency heat all winter. Within five minutes PHA diagnosed the problem as improper wiring of the new system. Absolutely fantastic and professional customer service and quality work. When time came to replace one of our three systems their rep came out and presented a number of options at various prices and features - not emphasizing the most costly either.

They installed the system within a very short time. Very neat and clean service staff and took away all old parts. Showed us how to use the system. Would definitely recommend them in the Hampton Roads area. Absolutely first class sales and service at a fair price.
