Really thrilled the way McBride took care of my parents' plumbing needs. They are in their 80s and were in need of an outside faucet replacement. Raul, the technician, was kind and courteous. Highly dissatisfied and disappointed in the lack of respect and communication provided by McBride Plumbing. Because of their mismanagement my family and 3 year old daughter went without water to our house for a whole week. We had tried turning the water back on per NJ water but was told to turn off by McBride so we complied. On a Monday we had scheduled them for Friday to fix our water line by completing a new install.

Their solution to get my temporary water was denied by NJ water. As a reputable plumber you would think they would know you can not have an open meter as it is a liability. So even after telling them they are not to hook up to my geothermal well they came out Friday and ran MY garden hose from my irrigation well to my house and turned it on. Never did they check the water quality from my we'll to make sure it was okay to perform this procedure.

The risked the safety of my family and still didn't even restore water as the garden hose is not capable of providing enough pressure into the house. Plus this "solution" took them from Monday to Friday to schedule. I called them back on Friday and canceled all future plans with them and told them I will never do business with them again. I was very upset as they strung my family along the whole week with no water and even now they have the nerve to charge me $178 twice to my credit card.

They came out on Friday right as McBride was leaving and had my water fully restored by noon on Saturday! I highly recommend ASAP and will be letting NJ Water know NEVER to recommend McBride to anyone again. Thank you.

Absolutely the most honorable and efficient plumbing company around. The workers are the best. The price for the job they did was over the top. McBride Plumbing served as the plumbing and HVAC subcontractor during the elevation of my home. Everyone, from office staff to the employees doing the work onsite, was courteous, professional, and reliable. Any questions I had were answered quickly and thoroughly. I look forward to using them in the future for any plumbing and HVAC needs.

Their repair service was very good; however, I found their cost to replace existing heating and hot water systems about double the price of others.

Have used Tim McBride Plumbing for a few small jobs - toilet replacement, toilet base leak fix (different toilet), and they have done a good job both times. Had what I thought might be a corroded shower drain in the master bath. Called McBride, the plumber came and took a look - said there was no problem to fix, it was only accumulated scale and debris. No charge. They could have easily made up a repair that wasn't needed but were honest about it. That's why they will always get my call in the future.

I called them for an estimate tocut off gas to convert the top floor of my duplex from gas to electric, because they were on SJ Gas' list of approved vendors. The estimate was $2200. I hired them and when they were almost finished they said some work in the kitchen was more complicated than they thought and it would be more money. They could not estimate the amount because they "had to see when they got in there".

My house was torn apart and delays were holding up electricians who were installing baseboard heating, so I said ok. They finished the work fine, I have no complaints about that. But when I got the bill, they hit me with a whopping additional $1800. I wrote them an email telling them I felt they had done a bait and switch and they never answered it. I paid the bill that was almost twice the original estimate, but would never use them again.
