S &M Heating & Sales Company was founded in 1961 by today's company President Jeff Laski's father, Sam Laski, and uncle, Manny Laski. S & M Heating Sales Company with the name change to S & M Heating & Air Conditioning started out servicing mainly new homes and apartment builders, but eventually developed commercial, industrial clients and a service department.
Jeff oversees the daily operations at S & M Heating & Air Conditioning. Following in his father and uncle's footsteps, he has continued to grow and evolve the company that they started in 1961. A previous partner, Richard Darin, introduced Jeff to the commercial side of the HVAC business. Jeff still enjoys going out to homes, and making sure the day to day operations are working, and the customers are happy. On a personal note, he enjoys traveling and is very involved in numerous local and national HVAC committees.

We have been using S & M for 2 decades. They listen to our issues and offer solutions while explaining the pros and cons. A few months ago, we fully expected to be told that furnace had bit the dust as our home will be 20 years old. They assured us it had more life in it and the fix would be a simple one. We appreciate their honesty and professionalism. It's nice to know there are still reputable companies that the consumer can trust. S & M is certainly in that category.

S&M were sent by Fidelity Home Warranty to make an AC repair. They were able to complete the service very quickly and efficiently. Arrived early and were able to quickly diagnosis and repair AC.

We were out of town and our base board heating went. I called 3 places and no one worked on boiler systems. I received a referral to call S&M. They sent over a technician right away and my neighbor was able to come let them in. Within 1 hour from call I was notified with what the issue was and told the cost. It was super reasonable and they fixed the problem within a few hours from my initial call.

They were so nice and took my payment on the phone. I was super impressed and they helped ease my discomfort trying to deal with this from other side of the country. I came home to a heated home! So very thankful! You guys are the best.

S&M Heating is a lifesaver. S&M has performed maintenance for us to keep our heating and cooling system performing in top notch condition for awhile, but when we head a leaking humidifier S&M earned a customer for life. My Sunday email was returned immediately and the folks at S&M cleared their schedule and made a special trip to address my problem. A fairly short and simple repair later, the water in the basement began to recede and the crisis was averted. Thank you S&M!

I used S&M Heating and Cooling for my new furnace and air conditioner and they did an awesome job. They were priced competitively, very professional and did the work in a timely fashion. I will certainly refer them to any friends or family that may need those services. Tal S went out of his way to make sure all of our questions and concerns were answered and addressed.

Been a customer for a few years.never had issues before, made a recent appt for service on a new noise from furnace, asked how much when I was making the appt, I was not told about a trip charge and was not told that the hourly charge went up over $25 went I made the appt; I was told around $65 depends on the issue.the tech spent 5mins to look at the furnace to tell me you need a new furnace (no other solution) ironically it's the same tech that came out in the summer and told me I need a new A/C no other solution! also asked the tech to have someone call me and discuss my bill(which was more than any other invoice and has done the least amount of work) instead they mail me the same exact bill the tech tried to charge me.

Very unhappy with the way this business has been handling its customer service, especially for a customer that has been using your service for years with no previous issues. I'm sorry to say they have lost my business.

S & M Heating totally saved the day. AC went out on a hot and humid day. Within hours of calling, we had a consultation. And within 48 hours, we had a new unit installed perfectly. The installation technician was so nice and knowledgable. Great service. Honest company. I definitely recommend using them.

You would have to be a glutton for punishment to use this company, just as their name implies. Another one of G. Fisher's preferred subcontractors so you know their work has to be bad, and that, it is. Nothing with the job went as spelled out in the contract, and I do mean nothing. Their work was so bad that we short paid the contract by ten percent, so we could get someone else to fix all off their mistakes and poor quality of workmanship.

Their staff "engineer" Dave was unprofessional and completely uncaring of their poor work. His favorite answer to anything that we brought up was "K". Not "we will take care of it", or "sorry", just K! What in the world does that mean? The company president Jeff Laski wasn't any better, he didn't care either. I say stay away as far as possible from these shmucks. Don't use them for anything. These are my opinions about my experiences with S & M Heating Sales Co., your experience might be different but I can't see how.
