Action Air Heating & Ac

I have a 5 year old furnace. Action Air tech Josh came for a tune up, only to inform me I needed a new furnace. I was informed I had potential heat exchanger issues and quoted me a 5000 replacement furnace for an 1800 square foot condo. I inquired about a warranty? He said parts are covered and labor is not and labor for warranty part would cost as much as a new furnace. I sought 2 other opinions and both said my furnace was fine. One adjusted gas pressure and blower speed. But otherwise I did not need a new furnace. Also other inspections noted furnace needed cleaned so sounds like action wasnt even servicing the furnace correctly?! Super disappointed in Action Air. Be aware, always get other opinions!

Josh and the team diagnosed the issue in short time, unfortunately furnace needed replaced. They had an exact fit unit in stock, installed and operating in about 3 hours. Luke on the install team noticed a small leak on my water heater and brought it to my attention.

Awesome fast response Action! I'm new in town and started calling the closest service providers on the map. After a horrible first experience with another co, I was dreading more calls. Action Air was the best of 6 calls. They were at my door with a new furnace before half of the other guys even called back. First of all: free second opinion. The only co that was willing to come out for free (and almost immediately on a Monday morning). Second, they listened to the customer and didn't argue with the needed repair. Finally, special thanks to Josh H. for not messing around and giving me a fair price quote straight away. Instead of an emergency replacement motor repair on an old dusty dog, we installed an entire new furnace set up just hours later the same day! The install team was good too. They did a nice clean installation. Much better ductwork than the original system. Easily one of the top 10 best service calls of my life. Thanks!

I've been dealing with Beau who is wonderful, very knowledgeable. Answering service has been very friendly and helpful as well.
Beau was able to go to my house within a day of making an appointment; replace the parts needing replacing, even though he said one was not urgent right now i went ahead and replaced it now before it got worse. I appreciate the non- pushy to get things replaced. He helped me by showing how to replace batteries in the thermostat and brought some for me to do so. Action air was recommended to me by my cousin, who she says their school uses as well. and I'm so glad she did. I opted in to their annual club membership which is very reasonable since i am renting out the home i know it will now be taking care of.

During the 90degree heat wave our 18 year old air conditioner died. After research on our HOA and Next Door we called Action Air, (neighbor down the street had them doing work). They sent Josh to see what was wrong. They called to let us know that Josh was on his way. Very nice, friendly, courteous, knowledgeable. He told us in detail what problem was-a rusted out motor. Told us our options, showed us what was available, pricing, the current promotions.

We discussed fixing it-too old and they don't use the old R22 and the value of replacing both ac and furnace due to the age of both. Decision was made. But installation wouldn't be for 6 days unless someone cancels. So Josh fixed us up with a motor he had at the office and came back at 8pm to get us cool. My wife has a heart issue and I have COPD.

And he left a way to call if anything happens to the ac and he would not leave us with no ac in the heat. Our installation will be in 3 days, we are nice and comfortable for now. We'd like to post another review after the installation, but we feel we found the best company because of Josh. He is a great asset to Action Air!

Josh was very professional and worked swiftly which was important with two small children one being an infant and the recent heat wave. He not only gave me an honest opinion on my ac units condition but also did not pressure me into replacing. Because of the very reasonable price and great service we will be getting our ac unit and furnace replaced through this company. Great work!

We had a sump pump problem and Action Air was the only contractor that could make it out same day. Cody arrived quickly, diagnosed the problem in no time, and gave us multiple repair options. He was friendly and professional.

This was my first experience using Action Air and I will definitely use them for future work. Our technician was Adam who returned to install the ordered part. He as knowledgeable, professional and extremely polite. After the part was installed he took time to explain the repair and made sure everything was in working order before he left. There was a pipe n coil damaged while previous owners moved out that produced a small gas leak on the water heater. The gas company detected it while turning the gas back on. My brother reccommended them and Hunter came out immediately, fixed the leaks and it was surprisinly very affordable. He was kind, curtious, knowledgeable and very professional. Will use the for all my HVAC neefs in the future. Thank you!

On a Saturday, I had an immediate plumbing need and contacted Action Air after three other companies told me they were booked for the day. A personable, knowledgeable plumber named Lee showed up, diagnosed the problem, and had it fixed in less than an hour. It wasn't cheap, but Lee was professional, friendly, and efficient-- and most importantly made the repairs needed so my home's water service was restored.

We just switched from comfort Air over to action air and so far it's great! We moved our maintenance contract over to them after we priced to see what was included and felt like action air was definitely a better value. I was incredibly impressed with cody, the gentleman who came out to do all of our plumbing inspection and flush our water heater.

He was beyond not eligible and extremely helpful and talking us through some options and what to expect down the road. Mark was equally as nice helpful and knowledgeable about all of the HVAC tune-up.

I scheduled a maintenance service for our heating system (we moved in this house in April 2021) back in October or November (can't remember.) They came out & performed the service great, and he suggested we get our ducts cleaned as well because of the age of the house (100 years) & the fact that they were significantly dirty. They gave us a fair quote and included a year's membership for service maintenance as well as a fair price on the duct cleaning, which was just performed today by John B.

He was on time (early even!) and very friendly, efficient, and did a great job. Also gave us helpful suggestions! I am a happy customer & would highly recommend Action Air for anyone looking for these types of services! Everyone I dealt with there was great, friendly & they also had the best prices I found after plenty of other quotes.

Nick went above and beyond to explain the situation my system is in. He provided me three possible solutions with their associated price. Our appointment for our duct & vent cleaning is set for 1/5/22. The service representative came to our home and gave us a free estimate so we would know the exact cost. The service representative was very professional and thorough with the inspection and I felt the estimate was very reasonable. Service: Clean ducts & vents
